Love Rearguard Sergeant! I was lucky to pull her in early game and she's been clutch in keeping me going. If you build her to tank and heal/shield herself, she can keep the rest of your team going with no issues. She's super underrated and one of my fav characters.

Reargaurd has always been one of my favorites since back even when I was still hitting brutal over a year ago. Shes just such a well balanced champion and she hits like a truck also being a dwarf.

I got her really early when i started and for the longest time i had her in clan boss and spider, she is fantastic and even a bit of early Arena when i was in silver. I recently got Krisk so she's on the bench for now. Regardless she helped carry my team through some tough content.
Nice. She’s fantastic in Faction Wars as well. Particularly for those players running short on good Dwarves.

Love the use of Spider, he is so underrated as well. He has a spot on my Dragon 20 team too
She's in my UNM CB team. Sepulcher, Rearguard, and Skullcrusher have great synergy. If Rearguard is in the first slot after the lead she CAs first possibly getting the def down on, but also SS always protects the person in that position first. Avoiding her own damage while she has shared dmg up has helped me push UNM over 30m/key.
Hell hades my man. I started this game not taking it seriously and not thinking j would dive so deep into it. I'm 3 months into my second account my first account is 9 months old but I made key mistakes and essentially restarted because of them.. My 3 month old account has already surpassed my oldest account because of you mainly. You really peaked my nerdiness in this game and keep me working hard to get my progression going
Regardless.. I would love for some coaching or even an account takeover. I'm rolling manual stage 18 drag, and auto stage 16. Would love to get my progression up.. Running seer, septimus, skull k, dragon priest, alure for almost everything. Just got Ignatius and gorb. Have a second skull crown and other champs but I'm at A loss as to gearing.. Feel like if I figure my gear out I could be doing drag 20 at least. My cb team is lacklustre at 3 mill a key on nightmare I think, and my spider is running stage 13. Figuring out Ignatius should help my spider just can't keep the tanks alive...

As someone who is still using bulwark in UNM...seeing this makes me realize the dwarf faction has some really big hitters. Slowly becoming my fav faction.
Word of warning for anyone that wants to run this kind of line-up before you invest your resources:
You want to Skullcrusher to tank the first AOE with his ally protect, and Rearguard to tank the 2nd AOE with her ally protect (as HH showed in the video). This does not work on auto! It even happens in this video. When he hits auto, Rearguard doesn't do her ally protect, she does A1 instead (at min 11:00).
I investigated this for a bit since I'm running a similar comp and the Rearguard will only do her ally protect if one of these conditions is true: 1. There is no other ally protect present 2. Another champion has below ~80% hp. There's no way to reliably make this work on auto since Skullcrusher's HP doesn't always drop enough (early turns not enough dmg, sometimes heals with Warmaster).
I'm running Sepulcher Sentinel (lead), Rhazin, Frozen Banshee, Rearguard Seargent, Skullcrusher. Good comp but very inconsistent unless you manual it.
Good to know, I have all those exept for Rhazin, can i just switch him out with any other dmg dealer?
In this case yes you can, you will miss out on weaken but thats it, the rest of the team has the other things covered

Thanks. I actually have her and planning to add her to my cb team along with skullcrusher. My current lineup right now is skullcrusher, tayrel, frozen banshee, grizzled jarl. I'm looking for the best 5th person to keep my skullcrusher alive or do the most dmg possible. I currently use MM but the ally protect is unreliable since it's on 4 turn CD. And I also use now thenasil to try to heal skullcrusher but his heal is still on 4 turn CD. I'm unlucky to book his a2 yet. Still waiting for epic books. Do you think thenasil is a good fit for heal assuming his heal is already in 3 turn CD? I don't have rhszin yet and I'm running nm cb

She's always been high teir in my eyes for a long time, her kit is soo solid for faction wars and new to me using her in clan boss.

I use her with Septimus, Bullwark, Steelskull and Hyria, none in lifesteal, almost to 2 keys territory NM with level 1-3 GH and no speed tuning. She was my first epic, she makes it in all my teams except FK (even arena).
I spent $200 on voids to only get 4 epics the rest rares but 2 of them were Baerdal and Gala. My current dwarf FWteam is Rearguard Sgt, 2 Maulies, Rockbreaker. Who is a better damage dealer for Faction wars; Gala or Baerdal? Keep up the great work
She wouldn't use her ally protect when the allay protect of skull crusher is on right...?

I dont know where to take my low spend account next. I managed to pull Sepulcher sentinel, Skullcrusher, Maneater, Raglin and Alure. I have Elhain and Zargala on. 60 and max masteries. Frozen Banshee, Warmaided and Apothecary on 50. Any recommendations for CB set up and who to max next/order?

ive been using deacon since i started but with my poisoner deacon healer and tatura for buffer i havent had any space for a decrease attack and i think swapping deacon out for her would be the way to go
can you run MM with Skullcrusher for a 2nd ally protection?
i built her for CB but can't get her to use her Ally protect at the right time on auto thru the whole fight, she inevitably gets out of sync and i feel like if i ever use her, i gotta manual the whole fight
Haahsa- She guards your rear. - still chuckling about the title.
Altan, Skullcrusher, RG, Draco and Grizzled Jarl. Can two-key void UNM but need to manual to squeeze out the extra dmg and control her ally protect placement. Normally falls in the 35-40 mil range. Easy one-key on void NM.

I'm considering replacing my unbooked Rhazin with her in my CB team. At the moment Rhazin is my only defence down champ and he is too unreliable at this, which keeps me in 15-20M range in UNM for 1 key.

She's in my CB team since forever. I run her with Rhazin, skullcrusher, frozen banshee and Altan. Always do 30mil damage on nightmare with this team
About campaign - I saw videos where she does hardest difficulty solo.
Aside from the inconsistent a3, if you book it out, but don't book out her a2, they'll be on different rotations, and she'll prioritize the a2 over the a3 on auto when they're up at the same time.
Rareguard was the main reason y could finish dwarf faction wars. She is pretty amazing

For masteries:
What do you like more - Heart of Glory - 5% more damage when full health or Grim Resolve: 5% more damage when attacking with 50% or less?
It seems like Grim Resolve will be more beneficial since she has ally protect. Your thoughts for maximum output?
Also Speeds for Clanboss like Nightmare and UNM... What ranges of speed is maximum? 152 seems awfully slow, but is it more beneficial than having like a 175 speed or 200 speed? **For Non Counter Attack Team**

Nicholas Romero sepulcher epic and Altan legendary; sepulcher has to be on 4:3 to get most out of her
She was my last pool. I noticed you use a lot of lifesteal gear. I think this is an element I'm missing. I don't know, maybe isn't that necessary, but how about a guide regarding gear progression...I mean, how much important is lifesteal and speed sets as we progress. I thought it's an important set for attacking and AoE champs, but you use efficiently in your supports.

I use him on my counterattack defense 3v3 ran i run vs aoe teams. I also used him to beat nightmare camp.

I believe I have the lowest power in gold 4 in arena. Wish I could get the top strong gear but correct comps are key for underwhelming gear. Gear takes a lot of time. At least for me.
Well, when you hit auto, she didn't do ally protect at the right time .... delayed 1 turn . She doesn't do it on auto when another ally protect is up, and that's the problem with her.
True, got the same problem on mine in the skullcrusher / rearguard setup. A bit of a disapointment for me there.
She does it sometimes (check my comment), but it's unreliable. This is all a bit misleading if you ask me..
i use her with vizier, so he keeps her debuffs up

Yes. You deal more damage to opponents with weaken debuff casted on them. You can check ayumilove.net for more information about debuff. It's a helpful website

You equiped her with "end-game" gear and ran a team with mid tier champs, then stating she can do some damage ^.- I mean Rearguard is decent but "she needs to read a lot" to be useful :(
