    Bless you! You explained a difficult problem for me so efficiently. You easily broke down what is needed to be done and few reminders of what's what. My teacher tried to explain a very similar problem and just mumbled and got lost in his explanation. I knew how to do each step before the video, I just didn't know how to put the knowledge together. Bless you!

    at 14:00 why did you put Fsin0 - 700sin15 =500 , shouldnt forces upwards = forces downwards? because when i was trying to solve i put Fsin0 + 500 = 700sin15

    • @1963rzr

      The questions says that the RESULTANT force acts up. You add all of the forces (with their corresponding signs) and the Resultant must be equal to 500. What you did is considering the 500 as an additional force and not as a resultant

    Thank you so much for your lectures! My only question is: at 0:12:44 you say that summation of forces in Y is 500 N, Then you say that vertical component of F equals F*sin and then write a equitation F*sin -700*sin(15)=500. I can't really get is since summation of forces in Y and F are the same vector here. I would really appreciate your answer!

      the sum of angle in a triangle must be equal 180, so 180-65-45=70

    Did anyone have an issue with the first method vs the second method? for some reason my calculator wants to keep pumping out 43.23 degrees for theta. I do (500+700sin15)/700cos15, then multiply by inverse tan.

    at 38:45, why is the angle below the positive x-axis until the negative y-axis is more 90 degrees? shouldn't it be a right angle?

    • @1963rzr
      @1963rzr  4 роки тому

      The angle is not between x and y
