we need that backstoey of earth, neytiri sister, how the pandora avatar program started. Jake's injury. Jake's military . all of it. I still want to know how the humans got ahold of the navi DNA in the first place
For the DNA one: it was said at the beginning that the Na’vi are hard to kill, implying that although difficult, they did in fact manage to kill them so they likely got their DNA there. But if that’s not the case - my theory is samples taken from hair or something at the school.
i sort of have an idea for a story about the first pandora landing, discovery of na'vi and unobtainium, etc that i may make at some point. i have never written fanfiction before so idk how good i wil be at it
Everyone is in love with Jake. And I understand. But ever since Avatar 2009 I fell deeply in love with Tsu'Teys character. He's such a strong warrior and all he wanted to do was protect his people. And hated the humans so much for what they did with the forest. I understand his hate. He needs more recognition
I heard a theory that Tsutey was eager for death this way by Jake not just because he noticed Jake was a leader and that tsu'tey wasn''t ready to be oloektan, but also because wainfleet cut his neural queue, while he is in writhing pain and agony, and internally bleeding and suffering beyond belief... and because it's severed, even if he survived, he could no longer connect with the tree and his deceased lover which would make living not worth. yadda yadda, hurt me to even think about and put a lot more meaning behind the scene knowing this(wainfleet might not've cut it? idrk you also don't rly see it so
I never saw the original Avatar, only the extended version so all the cut scenes, were in my version. You have a great way of taking a long story and not make it feel long. You are able to hold my ADHD bad attention very well.
My dad showed me Avatar when I was 10 maybe, and I guess he's done some pro piracy cause I remember most of those deleted scenes. The Tsu'tey's death scene was the only one I remember honestly, that one with falling down and *disappearing* was new to me. And I've always thought that Sylwanin was waaay younger than Neytiri guessing from the photos, so learning that she was his mate was kinda weird at first hah
But Tsutey death scene is in the movie, the directors cut, aka the only cut you should watch cause the theatrical cut just leaves a lot of good scenes out.
This is AMAZING! Tsu’tey is such an amazing character and so underrated, thank you for this! Also the scene of him calling Jake ugly coming up over and over again was hilarious😂😂
Omg, such a great video, you definitely need to make more of Avatar lore, cause two movies and a few comic books aren't enough apparently ha-ha. Keep it up!
tsu'tey deleted death scene is so, SO similar to the story beats in boromir's death. aragorn and boromir seeing eye-to-eye, with clarity for a final time - boromir expressing his love of his people, giving his blessing to aragorn as future leader. and finally, aragorn taking something from boromir - his bracer armour. (while jake took tsu'tey's life, literally and figuratively)
I am so glad the extended cut has most of these incredible scenes in! It's the only way I can watch it now, it seems incomplete without them! ALSO... it makes so much sense that Tsu'tey was training the young warriors whilst Neytiri was training Jake and it's something I didn't realise until now. In the deleted scene showing Hunting Season, all those young Na'vi must be the warriors in training trying to make a kill! Such a cool detail from James Cameron! ALSO... GREAT video, great lore, really taught me a lot! The reuniting of Tsu'tey to Sylwanin in spirit made me so emotional!
I saw the extended version of Avatar with Tsu'tey death scene and that made me appreciate him more tbh, too bad not much people know of the extended cut
That family photo moment was too funny and cute in the movie. Didn’t see it coming and laughed when it happened. So funny seeing aliens pose and do a “human” thing
I’ve actually seen the killing of Tsu’tey in every viewing I’ve seen of avatar. I never saw it in theaters but I’ve seen it on tv many times and it always had that killing scene. Maybe they added it after the theater version?
I agree, even in the theater version, when I see him fall out of the RDA plane, and watch his fringe flying as he's falling, in addition to the mournful music that has such a Native American sound, it makes me cry 😢
This video is very informative and well-put together. Gonna copy and paste a question I saw on Reddit that I’d love your take on: “In Tsu’tey’s Path, you can see Sylwanin’s spirit reaching for Tsu’tey’s when he’s passed indicating that they have finally been reunited in death. Could this canonically mean that spirits of deceased Na’vi can meet again and exist together in the “afterlife” within Eywa, as opposed to only remaining dormant until a loved one connects to a spirit tree to interact with a memory of that Na’vi?”
This. The spirits of everyone make up Eywa, so the spirits are technically still alive and part of the global consciousness of the moon. They do not lay dormant
@@BryceEdwardBrown I see! I couldn’t help but notice that you said that Tsu’tey is reunited with the “memory” of Sylwanin, not her spirit. Do you use memory and spirit interchangeably in a Pandorian context or do you believe there’s a difference between the two? Are the spirits more like empty “copies” of the deceased Na’vi that are stored in a massive bio-database of sorts within Eywa until accessed by loved ones when they link to the spirit trees, or are the spirits very much real and existing within Eywa’s consciousness at all times even when loved ones aren’t tuning in to their memories or not? Sylwanin leading Tsu’tey further into Eywa after his death could indicate the latter and might give further insight into the spiritual aspect of Eywa but I would love to hear your thoughts on this. Amazing video by the way!
I kinda feel that the ash people in the upcoming Avatar can be based on Arvok and Arvok's parents story. It's, up to this day, they're the only "mean" na'vi we've met so far, and James Cameron was referring to ash people as "bad na'vi"
One question about natayum not remembering why his dad is sad when they meet at the Spirit tree it doesn't really make much sense because when Kiri meets Grace before she has a seizure Grace seems to know her no problem I don't know just weird
I get what you're saying, but Grace seems different to others, probably because she was physically linked to the tree on her actual death? She knows she's dead, whereas others don't, or at least don't have the memory of it because they are not actually spirits but memories of people uploaded, but those memories do then interact with people moving forward, so they must be able to learn? Or hold information? Which I'm assuming is where the link to Kiri is remembered? . . . I think I confused myself even more trying to explain what I think! 😬😂😂
@@Booker596 no you're def right what else is interesting is what if grace is eywa the navi call her mother and when Kiri has her seizure it shows grace getting pulled out what if when she says she's real Jake she real (first movie ) she sees Kiri ughhhh I'm confusing myself haha

Tsu’tey was one of my favourite characters in this movie. I never once saw him as an antagonist. Even with all the scenes explaining his behaviour being deleted I could tell Tsu’tey was hurting, even though I assumed it was more with him being hurt about us humans destroying everything and refusing to respect the Na’vi culture than him also grieving Slywanin. I could tell he just wanted what was best for his people.
Very nice video. And with details you added from the comic book, which I knew nothing about, I understand why Moat put Neytiri in charge of Jake's training. I always wondered why she put Neytiri in that position. Tsu'tey "ain't got no time for that". Lol
ALL IM HEARING IN THAT ONE PART IS THAT THERES A HUGE CHANCE THAT TSU’TEY COULDVE GONE WITH SAEYLA BUT HE PUT THE CLAN BEFORE HIS NEEDS. SHE LOVED HIM BUT HE REJECTED HER GOSH IM GONNA CRY
Tbf Tsu'tey's death scene IS in the directors cut of the movie as well as a few additional scenes. So yes, it did make it into "a version of" the final cut
And that right there is why I think that the Ash People and Tsu'tey's family are going to appear in the 3rd Avatar movie and also why Cameron efficiencies on "taking a look at the "not so happy" side of Na'vi in Pandora clans". They can then add the flashbacks for context throughout the movie
the deleted scene at 3.20 was not so much a deleted scene, they kept it in there, because I recently rewatched it and it was still there, perhaps not on the disney+ ver anymore but it was there when I watched it in the cinemas. Also supposed deleted scene at 24.07 is shot and aired at cinemas at least here in the Netherlands. They kept it in and it is where he ends Tsu'tey's life as tradition proclaims, also ends his suffering. Also Tsu'tey's name has nothing to do with eating hearts, heart as a word means txe'lan and to eat is yom. Rongloa is a family name and ateyitan (also í is not a letter in na'vi) means son of Atey.
About banishing Arvok and parents of the year: its mentioned some other clan, that fans theorize thats the ash people, the ones that are said to be in avatar 3, and are closer to death and violence more then a regular Navi say and Omatikaya for example
I got a comic called tsu teys path and it explains his story of him being betrothed to Neytiris sister before she died and sharing his heart for Neytiri but when Jake arrives at home tree things change . And tsu tey fears for his life the tribe and thinking jake is a threat to hometree . But after jake bounds with tourk makto tsu tey begins to feel the fate of flying and dying with eywa .
Also, you are a productive member of society. One day when someone pulls a avatar DVD out of the rubble of our lost world and watches it, they will apply their own understanding of the movie to it. You offer movie history. The tales of today's civilization.
You didn't mention that Arvok didn't know his parents tried to sabotage the fight, and he chose to leave even after he was told he didn't have to. He banished himself and then ditched his parents too, because he was unhappy with them after they sabotaged the fight and tried to kill Jake.
But humans didn't erase the history of the People after destroying the tree. They destroyed the link place sure, but not the information that was already uploaded. In the end of the 2nd movie Jake and Neytiri access the memories they made while still in the forest from the link of the Spirit Tree in the reef.
They should have made two different versions, one that most people would watch and another with all the deleted scenes, I would have paid extra to watch it
Two things I’d like to say. 1.We see this in comics and other stuff but no the film not really. 2.Best warrior and yet Jake bests him when his secret is revealed. I don’t hate the character I actually find more interesting now but I just had to point that out.
If everything is connected to Ewa? When the tree of souls is destroyed, the history wouldn't be destroyed because the information would just transfer to another tree, correct? The information is not lost. It is only being stored elsewhere until another tree takes its place, correct?
13 minutes in and I learn that Tsu'ey's a lost and insecure soft boy. Not sure if I should continue watching, because my toxic trait is falling in love with lost and insecure soft boys 😂

It's time to wait another month. See you in March
Why werent those deleted scenes in the movie? That would’ve been useful info to know.

Great choice!

21:29
The sixth*
Because only 5 before him had become Toruk Makto
"I thought, enough drink, you would not be so UGLY!" had me burst out laughing
Tsu’tey gave Sully credit, where credit was due “UGLY”😭 13:49
Thank you so much for those videos!
Thank you for watching them! 🥳
some people might think (how does it hurt if its hair?) its actully not only hair theres skin and maybe bones under hair just gros on it
Two things I’d like to say. 1.We see this in comics and other stuff but no the film not really. 2.Best warrior and yet Jake bests him when his secret is revealed. I don’t hate the character I actually find more interesting now but I just had to point that out.
I was always confused, how are the Tree of Voices and Tree of Souls different? Which one did Neytiri and Jake go to?
It is in the extended edition
I saw the deleted scene of tsu'tey's death when neytiri saves human jake
14:13 has me confused, because didn't Tsu'tey know the whole time that Jake was a human in an avatar body?
Can you explain Bandersnatch black mirror 🙏 we need your wisdom
After the wildlife of Pandora video, can you pls do another video where you talk about the humans in avatar and their technology like. ISVs
I like Jake's avatar hair in the 1st movie than in the 2nd one they should've kept it.
Yess
I watched avatar the way of water and it is AMAZING👍
Agreed!
of course it reaches thru the link the body is a vehicle her mind and feelings travel thru
I can't believe a school shooting happened in pandora
Tsutey's death was in the version i streamed😅
Bro I feel like an idiot I thought Neytiri and Tsu’tey were brother an sister 😂😂😂
Please can you do Neytiri explained I would ❤❤❤ that
WHERE DO WE FIND THE COMIIIICS??😭😭
If everything is connected to Ewa? When the tree of souls is destroyed, the history wouldn't be destroyed because the information would just transfer to another tree, correct? The information is not lost. It is only being stored elsewhere until another tree takes its place, correct?
13 minutes in and I learn that Tsu'ey's a lost and insecure soft boy. Not sure if I should continue watching, because my toxic trait is falling in love with lost and insecure soft boys 😂
Went from hating to loving him
