I literally owned that blue and brown polka dot shirt when I was a kid in Australia in the early 2000s!!!! What a nostalgia moment omg wild to see it in the US in 2024 still thriving
Ok so you're def not gross for trying them on when you got home but!!! I would wash them with hot water next time because my friend got scabies once from trying on a goodwill shirt. Its truly horrifying so stay safe dude 😭
I thought you were going to go with just the hand sanitizer and was so relieved to see the gloves. Would definitely another vid like this. It was fun and it seems like the trip was worth it
omg this is a sign I was literally JUST thinking about hitting up the bins soon, I went once two years ago but it’s an hour by train for me so I haven’t gone since, but def gonna make that commute
I think you would suit modeling or just fashion related work in asia, for example Shanghai where I'm based right now. lots of gigs out here and its really vibrant/energetic where you'll get an awesome experience I'm sure. You seem to be very open minded which is key :)
It’s called the Goodwill by the Pound in Long Island City, Queens. I now know you live 15 minutes away by train or is it 15 minutes from Times Square. You need a mask cuz it’s dusty and some hand wipes and lotion. I take allergy pills just in case. No need for a camera cuz they won’t let you take pics. Book is redundant because you are not waiting for that long. Maybe for the train ride there but no need to carry extra weight. In regards to the regulars, they don’t sell to consignment stores. Some of them rent storage units nearby and put them in those large brown bins and send it to their country to sell and the resellers sell on eBay, etc. Consignment shops take longer to sell and there is no assurance that your item will sell so that’s a bad business model. I don’t like Buffalo Exchange. They are picky and cheap with the money. You must have a great eye to find so much to resell. Don’t go to Chinatown afterwards when you can ride the 7 to the last stop and end up in Queens’ Chinatown area Main St. I can recommend a good spot. You are so lucky to have as much footage as you did cuz they don’t like cameras or phones in there. Your body type is sample size and most of the good clothes that end up there are smaller which deters the big girls and you end up lucking out. I have so many good things from there. You are gonna make me go there. You are my favorite New York based model UA-camr now.
