60103 Flying Scotsman - The Cheshireman - return leg 10 June 2023

- LNER Class A3 Pacific No. 60103 Flying Scotsman hauled the RTC 'The Cheshireman' excursion from London to Chester on 10 June 2023.
It is filmed here at Mill Lane Standon, between Crewe and Stafford, running around 30 minutes late after a delayed departure from Crewe. Class 47 No. 47812 is on the rear.
Also shown are three preceding services filmed whilst waiting for 60103.

I’ve caught two railtours myself at my local area 40145 on the pathfinder tours 50th anniversary to Weymouth and then 9 hours later I caught both castles going back to new street and I had to battle against the thunderstorm Rob

Yes, I saw your double headed Castles. Thought you might have gone to see them up the Lickey, that looked impressive from the video I've seen. And yes, I've used that location before for southbound trains, its perfect in the evening sunlight. Cheers, Rob
@@staffordian Not a chance Rob, I have enough memories of my own battles up there so don't need the 'excitement' now... Yes, I have seen that spot before.
