As someone who is a theatre nerd, I was so excited when you saw Anastasia. If I'm correct, the musical is based more on the 1950s classic film as far as plot and takes music from the animated classic, which could be why it is a little different from the animated film :)
I just really wanna be there right now getting new books but I live in Russia and A Court Of Thorns And Roses was released here just few months ago so.....gonna get those books in two years if I'm lucky)))
Anastasia is my heart and soul, it's my favorite movie of all time, but since theatre is MY LIFE, I'm really interested in seeing how the Broadway production does it. I'm seeing it soon, and after watching all of the trailers and interviews and the broadway cast album over and over again, I honestly don't think it can possibly disappoint me at this point. I'm one to always prefer stage productions over movies and Christy Altomare is such a kind spirit. Lovely vlog as always Natasha!
