How can I make the background responsive? When I switch to mobile view, the background adjusts automatically, but it crops the image, hiding the part I want to display. If I try to adjust it, the changes affect the desktop and tablet versions as well. How can I make adjustments specifically for the mobile view without impacting other screen sizes?
Hi, To achieve that, you can use a layer image or a shape layer as a slide background rather than the slide background image. Please refer to this guide: www.sliderrevolution.com/manual/responsive-layout-tips/ Thanks.
Well like many tutorials you focused on the easy shit and didn't talk about things that your users might actually need help with. I mean why is Photoshop even in this tut.
Hey there, is there a way to zoom out of the editor? The editor screen is cut off not allowing me to see the full content displayed. Is there a way to zoom out of display so I can edit the full section?
I watched this to find out how to make background images responsive, ie, resized to suit mobile and tablet. You didn't cover that, focusing instead on how to resize for desktop, mostly in Photoshop. That isn't responsive?
I thought the same thing and then realized that the slider backgrounds are never responsive, you have to make four different backgrounds sized specifically to fit each viewport and then turn visibility on and off depending on the image and the background. He probably should mention this.
@@joannescara1724 I have big problems with that, and I dont quite understand this rev slider settings and no documentation helps me. Can You give me ur email so I can send screenshots to You, and so You can help me with these problems, please? For example if I want bg picture for desktop sizes, I must make it in photoshop 1920x1080 ? and in what corellation are photo original size and layer area size lenghts? If I have original photo 1920 in width but my layer area size for desktop is 1240px in width, that doesnt look good. ive lost my mind with this..
Hi! Please explain why there is a fade-in animation but there is no fade-out animation for slide main background ? Without this option, the slider with kenburns effect becomes twitchy and not nice (
At what point is this entire set of tutorials addressing responsive images...as in an image for desktop / tablet / phone....the full sized image will still be downloaded on mobile...killing performance.
Hi Franky, if you're using the latest version of the plugin, you can refer to this video that explains about the "Responsive Settings" in the plugin ua-cam.com/video/IPaUF8UEdz8/v-deo.html
Hi Tom, you can refer to this article www.sliderrevolution.com/faq/display-different-images-on-different-screen-sizes/ and see if it's what you're looking for. If not, you can email us at help@sliderrevolution.com and we'll discuss this further.
Sliders are way over-rated in 2019, and desktop big wide images are pointless. Mobile slides are the new norm. Slider Revolution is good, but I’m converned with page lweight and page speed. I really hate having to carry the baggage of several images X Slides to say a few bits of stuff. I’m going to push customers down a meaningful video route.
I just spent like 30mins trying to figure this out, then found this video... THANK YOU!
