- Bandelier National Monument preserves ancient Ancestral Pueblo dwellings and the surrounding wilderness. Most of the preserved homes date between 1150 and 1600 AD.
The park is located near Los Alamos, New Mexico and was named for Adolph Bandelier, a 19th-century anthropologist.
Recorded November 2018 in 4K Ultra HD with Sony AX100.

Been there. Great job with this video and it’s a wonderful place!
Up on the ridge is a trail where the path is actually cut into the rock from thousands and thousands of people from before walking there. Along the way are petroglyphs which has many circles ones that are the same circles you can find at other sites.
This is good quality video on the Pueblo building in that area, I have seen a number of others but have not seen this site before.
Another ancestral Pueblo. All Pueblo’s are connected.

Hi! It is very calm and impressive video and music. I haven't been in New Mexico at all, It is a good opportunity to watch scene of Bandelier NM. I would want to go over there in this coming Dec, I am not sure this is good time to visit to New Mexico. I have many schedules to visit places before Dec.. thanks for sharing your high quality video. btw where do you get the bgm, do you purchase the musics ? just curious...
October would certainly be better time to visit, but you should still be able to enjoy in December, unless they close it because of snow, not sure....If you look into the description of my videos you will see I always mention the source of the music...

Excellent video. Thank you...........The people who excavated the rock dwellings on the sheer cliff faces took made efforts for their safety. It must have taken several generations of the clan to put away so much rock. What were they taking so muck precaution against? A Puma, another clan...seems a bit of overkill. Unless there was a much more dangerous creature to worry about.
