So here we are my friend. The Tuesday girls enjoying your projects once again! We really miss your videos, but thankful you have so many videos to play with! ❤️
@@heehaw8401 Hello! I took this class online with LMJ during the pandemic, but still have plenty of canvas fabric page spreads to finish. I’d love to join the Tuesday afternoon online group again. Do you happen to have the Zoom join info? Or have the contact info of the facilitator who is now leading the group?
oh debbie...you are the bestest!!! i would like to join in on a tuesday sometime....the days seem to slip through my fingers! go create, go play, go have fun!!!
Now we can really shake the art world up. Fun fun. I need to put one in my morning book. Better get busy. So creatively made. I have lots of dots. Thank you LorriMarie. Have a good day. Love you big MJL❤🎉
Dear LorriMarie, Your videos are calming and inspiring at the same time! I’m working up the courage to try some of your techniques myself. I have made shaker cards using the WRMK Fuse tool. (And then machine-stitched around for good measure!) When using the Fuse tool, I use clear photo pocket sheets by Project Life, which are somewhat flexible and come in a variety pack with lots of differently-sized pockets. Your method works just fine, too! Instead of adhering the acetate using Mod Podge, I would probably use Scor-tape, or its equivalent. It’s a dry adhesive with strong hold, and would probably be great to seal those edges around the acetate. Love you!!!!!! I bought Screen Mend yesterday, and am off to get some Stabilo 8046 black pencils from the local artist supply store (not available at Michael’s!). Thanks for creating a Village for peeps like me!
What a fun, fun, action page! Thank you for sharing with us. I have gone through LM withdrawal, awaiting your return with a new adventure for us...low and behold there are TWO tutorials!! Can't wait to see part two. LorriMarie, you are the best and hope you love your brand new beautiful, blue brush!
hello my friend.....how are you? i was going to make another video today to complete the page but my camera was dead....blah! so tomorrow i will complete our 'action' page! so good to hear from you!!!!!!!
I love watching your videos. I've learned so much in such a short time. I've just started my first altered book, using a bound collection of Punch magazines from 1911. It has lovely big pages and lots of illustrations. I want to leave some of the print visible on every page as the typesetting is beautiful, so I will have to be a little sparing with the 'underpants'. My overarching theme is going to be nature, focusing on flowers, butterflies and birds. I have amassed a good collection of ephemera via books bought from charity shops and lots of lace, ribbons, buttons and fabrics from my stash. There will be shaker windows, pockets and tags. Wish me luck!
hey there janet...welcome to the crazy world of mixed media....sounds like you have the inventory! i am so glad you have joined us....we certainly have a great time together...and knowing that others are playing along with me? oh yeah! it is so much fun!!!! go create, go play, go have fun....and see you on the table....thanks for taking the time to leave a comment! LorriMarie (oh....and there is nothing wrong with showing just a bit of your underpants...) tee hee!
Carol....we ALL need a party once in a while, right? i hope to finish that page and the adjoining page today...but we go with the flow....go play!!!! LorriMarie
I will try this in a little while and see what happen, I still don't know what I'm doing, lol....... So pretty LM Question, when you took the 5 pages out, did the other finished pages all stayed in place or did some came loose?
there is a video on how to create a healthier book and it kind of shows which pages are safe to take out bg....such a good question! ua-cam.com/video/ZTKmBAwEyLY/v-deo.html and i have to tell you....i NEVER know what i am doing! so.....go create, go play, go have fun!!!!!!
ooops....here is the amazon link for my 'new' favorite brush! it is on sale now! amzn.to/2r4dEJj and thank you for the support! it means more to me than you can know! see you on the table!
Hello LorriMarie! I made this and it fell out of the book. I will repair as you have shown. What type of chalk pastels are you using. They look really fun to play with. See you on the table!
good gravy lori...they are just some chalk pastels that i have had around for probably years...sorry....also sorry that it fell out of your book...darn it...it happens to me too....so....go create, go play, go have fun!!!
good morning Toni....ha ha...a clean brush? not at this house! i lost my favorite brush so i had to buy a new one.....it won't be clean for long! i play so much in my studio that i just leave my brush in the water...all the time...are you subscribed? we have such fun together...see you on the table! LM
can you take it back? the gloss remains a bit stickier...if your pages stick together just dust them with baby powder....you will be fine...matte next time, right? yay!
You never tell what kind of mod pod get that you slather on. It never causes your pages to wrinkle and has to be a special mixture because just the tiniest film of it will wrinkle. Any clues for the rest of us?
hmmmmmm.....i use a matte modpodge carolyn....nothing special...magazine pages will wrinkle sometimes...depends on the quality...i got no hidden secrets carolyn...sorry...this probably does not help....
so sorry...this is an older video and i had not heard this complaint before this kim....thank you for letting me know!!! see you on the table kimberly!!
@@lorrimarie2002 Thanks for reply. At minute 12:28 the sound was normal again. Don't want to miss anything so was grateful❤ Still binge watching your videos.

For UK viewers, I think the 'deli-sheet' looks like greaseproof paper that we get on a roll, or parchment paper for baking
i think you are right.....thank you for helping out the 'deli-sheet' dilemma! see you on the table....
Love your videos! How do you keep your brush clean?

Oh yeah, I subscribed! I’m building my stash to start my book! I bought the wrong modge pod, I bought glossy not matte! Or does it matter?
can you take it back? the gloss remains a bit stickier...if your pages stick together just dust them with baby powder....you will be fine...matte next time, right? yay!
LorriMarie Jenkins yes, I can take it back, and what Gesso do you work with? Medium..heavy??
it is more of a medium gesso...if i want a bunch of texture i use the texture paste that i make in video ua-cam.com/video/4BkOimKelng/v-deo.html
👏👏👏👏❤️‼️love this
