"Founded in Binghamton, New York in 1910 as a trade group for door-to-door salesmen, the association was originally called the Agents Credit Association. It was renamed the National Association of Agency Companies (NAAC) in 1914, and briefly renamed the National Association of Agency and Mail Order Companies in 1917, before returning to the NAAC in 1920. It became the Direct Selling Association in 1968.[6] As of 1970, less than 5% of the DSA's members were multi-level marketing companies. By 2018, the DSA's membership had grown to include nearly 130 companies, more than 90% of which were multi-level marketing companies.[1]" As much as people loathed door to door salesmen I'm pretty sure they made their money from commissions, so it was still a more ethical trade then MLMs. And there were plenty of products that were actually useful, if a bit of an unnecessary purchase (encyclopedias for example, you didn't NEED them but they worked and had useful info.) Mail order stuff was hit or miss from what I understand but again, you could get decent stuff and if you didn't it was at least a one time loss. "In 2019, DSA helped launch the BBB National Programs Direct Selling Self Regulatory Council.[8] The Direct Selling Self-Regulatory Council (DSSRC) provides impartial monitoring, enforcement, and dispute resolution regarding product claims or income representations (including lifestyle claims) disseminated by direct selling companies and their sales force members. This program provides a robust challenge process that also includes the opportunity for a company to appeal a decision.[9]" Perhaps that's what they were talking about? It's a self regulatory agency tho not a governmental one.
I appreciate hearing news from non-english-speaking parts of the internet/world! I’ve heard all about the companies and dramas that are based in english speaking countries but know very little about anything else. Thanks for sharing
I couldn't be happier to hear some tea on iGenious and that they are not doing well. These guys are just jumping from one scam to another. How typical.
Thank you for this perspective! This reminds me of the books you used to be able to order from the back pages of magazines, with names like “How to Succeed in the Stock Market”.
If you join something like this get rich quick scheme and you "become a completely different person," you have been subject to a thought reform program
Yes, those are always so unrealistic scetchy talking points. I don't want to become a completely different person. Just pay me well. This is supposed to be a job.
Have a sip of tea every time they say it and share how long until you have to pause to use the restroom . The one lasting the longest gets a role of toilet paper . 🤣🤣🤣
Thanks for the analysis! I have a quick question: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (mistake turkey blossom warfare blade until bachelor fall squeeze today flee guitar). Could you explain how to move them to Binance?
i just found your video in my recommended, and i love any opportunity to strengthen my german listening and reading skills! i'll be checking out those links :)
what is with these teams having the most clunky and weird acronyms for their names?? you’d think people who say they’re marketing gurus would be able to think of something a little smoother
All these low-rent, hyper-capitalist, hustle culture, crypto bros are so boring. They’re like photocopies of a photocopy of a blurry picture of Gordon Gekko.
DSA is not "a governmental regulatory agency": It's a lobbying association. Big difference.
Yes, there is so much misinformation from that team, trying to hype up their next company.

The man just keeps on lying. Unbelievable!

Thank you. Yes, it is interesting if you look at other countries and their experience with MLMs

I hope to hear about more people leaving iGenius. Not to another MLM, but draining iGenius of distributors.

Yes, so true! It sounds like bad back alley tips.
He says the Amway of the digital space like it's a good thing. 😂
Yeah!
Someone telling me multiple times about how he’s fallen for a scam TOTALLY makes someone seem legit and trustworthy
Right?

Don't take a drink every time he says "company," or you'll end up drunk enough to join something as sketchy as his pitch.😂

LOVE how even the owners are posed in a pyramid shape in the Forbes pic
Haha, true!
Great video. Thank you
New Zealand had a warning about them?? Bro that's not a flex!!
No, those warnings are not a flex. Even if they are removed at some point.
They pay VAT and other taxes? The bar is low 🤣🤣🤣
Wow. well Igenius's day in the sun was short-lived.
It was short lived...
Join Be and become the best version of yourself. Ah yes, not a cult. Definitely not a cult.
Right? It is not just a job 😬
Good video! Thanks.
Thank you.
Don't overestimate elementary education in the US 😂. They probably do need to start with explaining time zones and where Tokyo is!

I'm now wondering about the Quebec thing. I know we have different rules and regulations on financial stuff.
Yeah would be interesting to know if the different regions have different rules.
i can do trade through E-Trade. So many legit avenues and you dont have to pay these exuberant amounts nor do you have to recruit.

Haha, so true!
Anyone heard where WFABB ran off to?
They are called legends now. And some are still in iGenius.
Being part of the dsa means absolutely nothing to me. It's all BS
Exactly

This may be on another level of SCAM!
