- I skated in the Vans Zahba, Zion Wright color way. I did so a long ass time ago and didn't release this video at all like the lazy cretin I am. I don't always skate vans shoes but WAS liking these ones a LOT more. This type of Vans model is for sure the ones I'm more fond of. I enjoyed the way they handle and have held up so far. Doing the channel it’s kind of the time to do so since it’s not just personal use where I can afford to do the “one and done” thing and decided not to partake in a particular product. That being said now from growth I 1.Know that you shouldn’t go off one bad experience with a product, unless it’s uniquely bad and understand the concept of a faulty product. Now before I wasn’t working way back then so of course I had to allocate my money to what I could trust. And 2. I know companies tend to make a myriad of different types of shoes so one may be bad but others may not be and I can look at most shoes and roughly estimate, and correctly how long it will hold up. So I love emerica Lakai adidas Nike etc, but the ALL have their dog shit models 🤣🤣I don’t hate any brands with shoes as a whole come to think of it.
You broke your right shoe laces too? I broke em new while tying. Sht quality, otherwise good shoe from vans. Usually vans aint it
Yeah🥴🥴🥴 Not a good feeling lmao, right out the box only to trigger the hell out of me in more ways than one…. Glad the shoes skateabilty made up for it and it was no big deal *personally. I rather that than the shoe being piss poor quality and rip right away

Try the Rowan's 2. I think they are an evolution of these.
I eyed them recently, there’s an all brown colorway or something like that, that was actually looking appealing aesthetics wise. Skate wise in durability they *appear to look solid. I’m looking forward to them but may be hopping into the Nike Vertebrae dropping the 12th. I actually can’t wait to try more Vans more

Was also looking at these Rowley’s too recently. Looked quite promising. 💪🏾
I got a pair of these going to use them next after my Nike gt blazers die . Solid review g , I also hate vans 😂 but these are more my style aswell
Hell yeah, hopefully they treat you right! Blazers are hard to contend with if compared to these but they got that same narrow like build. If you’re not too sold on certain shoes then they shouldn’t fall short since you can view each shoe independently. *Unless you are looking to compare them though, outside of that again they outta be nice
i like these, especially this colorway. i really like the wafflecup sole. i don't like their vulcs, vans made me hate vulcs for 25 years. i tried some etnies vulcs and liked them, but i prefer cup soles. vans used to make really good cup soles, glad to see them coming back around. the zahba mids look sick too, like a cupsole halfcab
Looking at the Zahba Mids made me MAD they came out after these 🤣🤣 I almost wanted to get some specifically and review them just because they’re looking proper as hell. Maybe they did drop at the same time and I missed it but either way again the Mids look SUPER promising. As a matter of fact I’m more than likely going to get into some anyways just because lmao. Hell even this All green color way I believe was looking solid and I don’t even tend to like that type of green on a shoe. It’s like a darker green, almost like Forrest green I think, maybe with a black Gum. I do want the Wayvee, New Rowley’s, and Rowan 2’s now for a review so may do those first. I’m trying to ride the Vans train and give them another go, and a proper one. I’ve always just done them here and there. And I’m glad I missed what everyone who had them prior seem to be claiming were the glory days of them in terms of their production value. I’ve ALWAYS heard about the downward trend in quality about a number of products but especially Vans. I heard it with the OG Janoskis too but think that shoe wasn’t it either 🤣🤣 I had the newer ones but it seems to be the design of it in general with that lace bed blowing out and only being held by the laces. That whole shit FLAPS lol. Skated great flick wise but all else was lacking imo. *Still got like 4 Pairs of em tho🥴🥴
@@cyberinsurgent9910 i really like the wayvee for a casual shoe, i'm actually wearing mine right now. i think they skate well, but would probably wear out quick bc there is a lot of mesh panels. so i just wear mine for daily drivers and have other shoes to skate in. yeah the zahba mids look sick. i prefer mid/high tops to skate, but been wearing low tops lately bc i have a scar on my ankle that rubs in high tops so i'm letting the swelling/irritation go down.

So many shoes just don’t care it seems or maybe it’s been the ones I’ve been skating but they just go for narrow at this point, like not even a in between attempt 😑 I luckily don’t have wide feet but since I started taking that into account for those that do I’ve noticed a ton of skinny shoes vs wide. New Balance are the first I legit see with an actual dual option to chose Wide or not on some of their shoes. You can even search specifically for their wide toe box shoes.
Vans soles on other shoes dont sit on a board well. On slip ons and half cabs you only feel the ball and the heel of your foot, its not even like other manufacturers
EXACTLY, that’s a way to describe it. I don’t particularly like that feel or lack of feel and comfort because it doesn’t seem to fit flush or flat. There’s like selective foot feel on spots of it on that other grip more so that’s their traditional.
