    Thanks for showing some simple experiments with this and the actual volts it was able to produce. It appears this might be able to produce some watts at a very low wind speed/rpm especially if you were only running 24 or 36 volt battery bank.

      Why ?? You ofcorse use a 48v or 36v or 24v or 12 MPPT Controler !!!
      On this Truh a 3 way/phased 200A rectifigher AC to DC ... .. Then you are golden!!!
      No On uses this direkt on the batteri !!! Why becaus this is AC not DC !!

    I have the same 2000 watt turbine. The most a have seen so far was 1600 watts at 29 mph winds. I can not wait to see what it can do in higher winds.

    200 to 300 rpm in los gear on the drill and 51volt AC on 1 phase
    Try 3 phased!!! Truh a rectifier .. in to a MPPT CONTROLER..
    Well IT starts making 48v 2000Watt way way way before IT reatchesc 200 RPM!!!

    Of cource you get high voltage out at zero load. What is important is the current and the voltage given to calculate the power at a known load resistance - P=UxI? It seems some of these products are specified multiplying no-load voltage with the short-circuit current, what is worthless.

    Hi: I can believe that it can make 41 volts but, what about the amps. How many amps does it say that it can generate? To get to 2KW it would have to generate 48 amps.

    • @WORLDENERGYY
      @WORLDENERGYY 7 років тому

      This wind turbine will never give 48 amperes, my turbine gave me only 25.

    • @danisyx5804

      faulty test procedure. insufficient input from drill. no rpm control..... to test this motor you would need a 120V 17A motor and precise rpm control and measurement. there is no way on earth THAT drill is capable of generating enough power to adequately test this generator. if it could this dude would have invented perpetual energy. a >9A drill running a 200w generator, unbelievable, and impossible.

    It is incredibly so many idiots leaving a comment, but do not have any knowledge.
    First of all, A fully charged 48volt battery, has a voltage at almost 51volt. To charge such a battery a voltage must be applied at least 55.2 v.
    Second, There is no one who claims that the 2,000watt is achieved at 48v. If that was the case, the battery never Will be Charged, wouldn't it !! Those who believe this, have no knowledge.
    In the video it is seen that a voltage of more than 150v can be achieved. At 153.8v, the current must therefore be 13A.
    Final, A solar panel, specified for 250wp also does not always give 250w !!!!
    Sorry for My bad english !!!!

    Very good demonstration but I find that the procedure is not correct.
    The generator is only connected to the volt meter, with no load attached, therefore it will be easier for you to reach the working voltage.
    Also, the voltage measured by the volt meter is Vrms between two phases. But the voltage that will be converted to DC by the rectifier, takes into account the maximum or peak voltage.
    That can´t be mesured by the volt meter, the reading must be converted from Vrms to Vmax.
    Anyway, it seems to generate enough voltage. Obviously it would be useful to see what current it is able of supplying when a load is attached to it.

  • @soddoffbaldrick2209
    @soddoffbaldrick2209 2 роки тому

    Dude - just using the single phase is not a good test. And you need to track current under a load to get a decent idea.

  • @cwrobinson6363

    If this unit generates 2KW at 48 volts then, that would mean that it will make 41.6 amps. If it does not say 41.6 amps something is wrong. Very wrong. Also, to be a 2KW unit, it would cost about $800.00 to $900.00. That would be okay for this small unit. But for me, I would never trust ISTA Breeze for my home. Sorry but, I design and build my own Wind Turbine systems. I am just lucky to be able to do this.

    kinda pointless with only 1 phase measured without a rectifier and a load/ammeter.
