Pinocchio is currently a real boy, so nothing. Besides, the purpose of the nose growth was to metaphorically represent the way lies and deception build up until the absurdity of its own merit exposes itself. A mistruth with no moral implications wouldn't cause the nose to grow even as a puppet.

You have to simultaneously fit in and not fit in, I call it "Perfect Chameleon". The trick is be completely forget able, know how to just blend into the background, know how to hone in onto specific sounds(be able to filter out specific noices and tune into a specific one), and part of blending into the surroundings is also keeping a safe distance while not coming off as an obvious shadow. Big part of it is mostly coming off as a complete nobody, nothing more than just a needle in a haystack. It can be fun and it can be dangerous lol.
