At 29:03, he had 21 spaces of movement to reach a tile 2 spaces away. Whatever route you think you found is mathematically impossible because you can't go an even distance with an odd roll.
here's a tip to keep in mind: keep in mind if the space you want to go to is an Even or Odd amount of spaces away. If, for example, the Star Space is 4 spaces away, and you got 10 steps, you can always find a try to reach that space with some clever looping. But an 11 is an odd number, and can never reach a space that is even number of steps away.
