When you make an exchange in Binance for example. Do you trade directly with other users? If one of them goes to the court for a serious crime like human trafficking or money laundering. Can the court detect you and call you too as an associated suspect?
Can someone explain to me how bitcoin is safer when any criminal could take it all given appropriate encouragement, like kneecapping or killing your youngest child and threatening the older one for example. It's like transferring the coercive powers of the state - what bitcoin iss trying to solve, to any one of millions of brutal criminals.
Kudos to Nik for putting his quarter in, letting Saylor go, and staying out of his way! Takes great humility & self-awareness to do that - especially when you are a thought leader and great communicator in your own right.

If I heard this 30 years ago about being in business I would have jumped 10 years ahead of where I started out. The BTC argument is very sound but the business knowledge that Michael has is incredible.
It's like he's telling you the faults of equities and real estate, but nobody has ever explained all of the risks in such comprehensive detail. We've never considered what "perfect property" or what a "perfect equity" looks like until you see Bitcoin and compare it versus other asset classes.
Yeah but if you trade on an exchange everything is recorded. The other day a guy unknowingly traded with a guy who was caught money laundering. And the court semd him a notice to confess as a potential associated suspect
Saylor may be retired from the CEO job at MSTR but he is not going away to sit on a beach in Thailand. Those people get "Bored out of My Mind" in no time. Michael has a secondary job, and it has purpose and meaning, well done, well done!
Hands down, this segment is far more valuable than any finance and economics lecture I've attended at University. I'm concerned how many people will dismiss this video because it has the word 'bitcoin' in the channel, yet the content discussed is far more reaching. Secondly, if it is not worth undertaking these risks, then is there any point in producing anything?
Think about that. You can obtain the same amount or more knowledge just by watching UA-cam videos than someone who paid $150,000 for a degree from a top university.
The kind of financial and investment education delivered by Saylor in this episode, alone, for FREE, is more than you'll get from any Ivy league school where you'll get in hundreds of thousands of dollars in debt
So much wisdom. Yet the concept of sell a share of a company was started in 1611 by the Dutch East India Company in order to raise money. But it has taken until today when MS debunks to whole notion of stock ownership due basically because the underlying money system is collapsing to zero.
Business school distilled into a 98 minute lecture but this edition contains integrated information about Bitcoin, by Mike Saylor. This talk is actually more valuable than a $60,000 undergrad education. Hard to fathom that anyone can access this content on demand for free from a device we carry around in our pocket. It’s a new epoch for the species, we’re hyper-hominids now.
It's quite simple: if the economy runs on hard money with a capped suply, then each monetary unit acts as a stock/share of that economy - like an index stock because it will perpetually capture the productivity created in that economy. It will capture all productivity not just that of companies listed on the stock exchange. It has multiple benefits because you're both safe (with savings) and liquid (can spend it/transfer it directly almost without cost). That's what money is supposed to be...
Listening to him is like getting an accelerated MBA - for free and way better He has lived all these risks for 30 years, including the recent frivolous lawsuits against him by the DC AG
Make the next video about the risks of owning Bitcoin like scams, theft and quantum computer. Would be interesting too. Thanks. Great informative video 📸
The market is very unstable and you can not tell If it's going bearish or bullish. I advise y'all to forget predictions and start making a good profit now because future valuations are all speculations and guesses. When these reports are bullish take some off to the side lines, when news gets bearish start buying. "Keep it simple simple" that bear/ correction was the best thing that happened me. But all Thanks to Eric Birger for his amazing skills for helping me to earn 15.6 Btc through trading chart. I believe we are in the spring phase..
The process of trading can be complicated when you have limited knowledge. However, with the right strategy and setups, you can be successful. That's the whole point of investing.
I used to be a great fan of gold and silver, but then I discovered Bitcoin and Ethereum a few months ago. Trading with Eric Birger has been extremely beneficial to me along my trip.
This is all true and I agree with what Saylor is saying. However I need cashflow to live my life. And that means I need to put my money into something that has a cash flow so I can spend the cashflow. What’s the alternative? Hold Bitcoin and sell of 3% a year to spend to live?
Bitcoin has been falling for a while now and it might keep falling or decide to rise again. The truth is no one knows, I believe it’s the right time to make purchase and also get the assistance of a professional
Trading with an expert is the best strategy for newbies and busy investors who have little or no time to monitor trade. I will advise you to stop trading on your own it’s very risky. Seek the advice of a professional
You’re right I have lost a lot trading all by myself without a guide. It’s been an uneasy ride for me. Who is your mentor please. I actually don’t mind paying

Love the education from an experienced, clear thinker. However, no one person is infallible. At around 1:12:00 MS mentions that Satoshi is not around. OK... but what if he shows up? I can imagine the consequences...can you? Michael Saylor knows.😕
"I can imagine the consequences" Perhaps you'd like to share. There's literally nothing fundamental Satoshi can do, which is MS' whole point regarding decentralisation versus a stock - unless if you know of anything different. Any influence Satoshi may have would be just that - influence. If they supposedly own the 1m BTC wallet and decide to sell it off (which would certainly not be for financial benefit), from a Bitcoin protocol perspective, all they've done is increase supply by 5% whilst also "ripping off the band aid".
Because Bitcoin is a FOSS, whose network is completely decentralised, if Satoshi shows up, he'd have the same amount of influence over Bitcoin as Newton would have over calculus, if he were to be revived.
Saylor is just unreal. And kudos to the interviewer for not interrupting
Does he even look at a note? I don't ... how.
There is really no reason to have anxiety about interviewing MS. Just pick 1 good question and let him go lol
