- Today it's time for the October 2021 Monthly Bullet Journal Plan With Me video!! We have a pretty dark theme to set up this time and I really hope this will offer you some slight Halloween vibes without actually being Halloweeny at all, haha!
This monthly setup definitely challenged me this month, so I hope you're ready to see some real-life struggling that goes on behind the scenes while filming these videos. I had to fix and edit a few spreads here, but I really hope that it gives you a little bit more comfort to know that literally everyone goes trough this from time to time, and the bullet journal setting process is rarely perfect nor pretty. :D
Anyway, I really hope you'll find some inspiration from the Dark Academia style decorations this month and I hope you'll have a great day where every you are ❤

This video actually made me feel so much better about my own bullet journal, since I also felt like my spread weren’t coming out like I wanted and it was quite a mess to figure it out, so seeing someone on that same struggle figuring it out…Idk, I feel you, you know? 😂

This was refreshing. I enjoyed the journey and how you worked through your struggles. I'm always blown away by your art, so these spreads were still beautiful to me. I also liked that it didn't scream Halloween. It was dark and moody. Again, very refreshing.

Fall is my favourite time of the year (I am a fall kid lol). This looks amazing and inspires me even more to start journaling in 2022.
I am currently recovering from a surgery and its complications (nothing that major, just can't sit too much and have little energy), so I am still gathering ideas how to start one.
I am an artist who can't work in her field so I want to do this as an art project and mental health help as well. thank you for the great video!
I think we all already know what you'll be jotting down at the end of the month in those reflections: Struggles? This layout! What did I learn? Not to make a spread like this again. ;) This entire spread IS beautiful. I'm also not a fan of writing on black pages because I find it difficult to read, but I always think it looks really nice when others do it. And bonus house points for your nails matching that A&O acrylograph pen! haha I look forward to your videos so much (even if I rarely comment!)

This spread is incredible! I love the subtle sense of mystery as opposed to the typical gaudy Halloween spreads. Have you ever considered teaching classes?

The end result is actually really beautiful and different from other themes I have seen. I love the theme Anna. I know the frustration though, when things don’t go the way you planned.
I used black paper in my October theme, and it felt weird for me too 😅 I can not believe this year is coming to an end and I’ll have to get a new notebook. I have the big A6 from Archer and Olive and I fit the entire year into it. And it’s getting quite thick! 😂 Thank you for another great video💓

Just a little tip for you when you want to remove washi tape, just warm it up a little bit with craft heat gun or hair dryer and once it’s warmed up it will come off really easily👍🏽
