Thanks for watching as we explore some of the most beautiful country that we have ever seen. The Brooks Range is so wide open that it feels like it was just created yesterday! We are slow, but determined on our backroads adventure.
A very good video, and such beautiful scenery. Hoping that your videos will be this interesting. See you soon in the next video, and save journeys, and take care.
Did this a few years ago on my motorcycle. Loved it! I can't wait to get back. Hopefuly, next time I stop at the Yukon River camp, they will have gas available!
Nice video. I worked along this highway for 15 years many days driving hundreds of miles. Before that I worked in Prudhoe Bay. There are many nice pull outs to camp. I used to explore them all.
If there were cell phone service thru out Alaska that road you are traveling would be packed full of tourist including myself,Excellent video safe travels to you both:)
Hello , Thank you for your video! I have a question for you. I recently visited Wyoming, Idaho & Montana. I drove the Chief Joseph Byway from Cooke City to Cody. the question is which road is more concerning? Chief Joeseph or the Dalton Hwy? I plan on visiting Alaska in 2024. Thank You.
I think that the Dalton would be far more concerning. It is much longer, farther between services, and almost entirely gravel. Although the highway to Cook City is a lot higher in elevation. Cooke City is at about 7600, and the summit of the pass in Montana is nearly 11,000 ft, but entirely paved. Good luck! Both are amazing trips.

Thank you so much. I think I will do a flight seeing, drive combo tour. I enjoy watching y'all. Safe travels!
Amazing so much of the road is paved now.
We'll post the return portion soon. There are still some nasty parts of unpaved road!
Nicely done .
This trip has been a dream of mine for years.
