Halle's voice is beautiful! The way she sings that "be" and the emotion she puts on it is magic. Every time I listen to her emoting that "be" I start to well up with tears. From that "be" to the end is so emotionally fragile and complex. Growing up with The Little Mermaid, I never knew this song could be sang this way and would make me feel this way.

Being an immigrant to the U.S., I could really relate with wanting to fit into a place that you weren't born in; and seeing her sing this song really brings back those feelings of hope and longing. This rendition was very nice and stayed true to the essence of the original with emotion instead of just detached vocal perfection 👍
