The master emerald has shown me shadows future and their right, it ain't pretty but shadow is still fighting for humanity at some points, however the future for sonic and shadow is questionable at best due to them having the power and strength to change their destinies
In my opinion I kinda liked shadow the hedgehog gamecube because it was one of the only games that you could fully play as shadow (because in most games you were only able to play as shadow in newer games if it was either a mod or if he was playable as a dlc such as in sonic forces) and you were able to use most of his chaos powers also I believe that the gamecube game is a bit underrated but that's just my opinion go with whatever floats your boat.
