I love the way Constance is portrayed in this version of the Musketeers story. In every other one she is just one more woman. I love the fact that she can hold her own and is a part of their intrigues. This is the only video I have found that really is about how amazing she is as a character. All the others are just about her relationships. I am glad someone had the sense to focus on her.
If youre looking for the woman who was really written to be the equal of any man in politics and intrigue youre looking for Milady Winter. Why have two of the same thing?
It went to the trash can with the French version of 2024. Modern English screenwriters don't read the classics and therefore write very poorly. it should be mandatory to read classics to become screenwriters, your writing gets better. Shakespeare was a great reader of Ovid.

I feel the same way. I like her role in the original novel and in this serie. The rest doesn't worth it for me.

You obviously didn't see Disney's 1993 version of The 3 Musketeers.
The importance of a character is not measured because it is a female version of a male character, but because it has a personality.

It also doesn’t help that they make us read horrible scripts during film school, so there is that as well
This is a good version, but I still prefer the Logan Lerman and Gabrielle Wilde version of these characters
I prefer these two and I prefer this version of Constance better than that one in the film in 2011.
