@@ThoughtBubbleYT hero passives seem to based on the main tree/lineage, both healer and cleric have the hero passive support recovery. Think the tier of the tree/lineage will affect how strong the effects of the passives are?
WOW, really good theory and keen attention to detail, I actually agree with you. We know theres 1 more party member, and it has to be a paripus. Basileo makes the most sense. It is interesting that he shows up way earlier but only becomes a party member way later on. Kind of like a Naoto situation.
This game actually has potential. Theres a lot of mystery surrounding the whole city, and all of them is interesting enough to get someone hooked and keep them playing. Cant wait for this game to get released
I would say grab the brawler before doing Belega corridor because the Brawler paired with the Knight's medical skill is incredibly good specifically for dealing with the Goborns due to having no weaknesses.
I have somethings to say about baselio but thats a pretty big spoiler i think so it's at the end of the details I want to talk about. I like how the MC has a unique passive for every archetype that the others dont have that's for the field battles. Like mage regenerating 1 MP every time you kill/stun a enemy or the warrior preventing enemies from initiating squad battles. If you look at the calendar you cant look past October, when the election ends on the day of the hero, which is only 4 months from when the game starts. So either this games half as long as persona or something happens. Also this world only has 5 day weeks so its even "shorter". Baselio is shown many times in the first trailer for metaphor. He's in the anime party shot of everyone looking surprised but his face wasn't in frame just his clothes. The other more prominent point in that trailer was him holding his limp friend in his arms and crying meaning that they probably died and this is what caused him to awaken the berserker archetype. We also meet him even before we get eupha so he's probably like naoto being introduced pretty early but being the last part member, probably introduced with Juno.
😁 I already bought it just waiting for my collector edition to come in the mall, I really liked how good and long the demo was, so much freedom that would carry over, plus I liked how you could modify your party with other classes except only having the main protagonist being able too, so looking forward to experience the whole story
yea i did the same and had to leave cuz i ran out mp trying to kill the goblins in that area. i wish i had known and went thru the entire main dungeon, left before the end point, then went to that one.
1:24 from my experience, increasing your magic helps in the early stages of the Demo when hitting Elemental Weaknesses. This becomes a problem in the Brigitta quest Dungeon where the Goblins treat Mage and Healer Archetypes unkindly. But for the Dragon fight, this makes you able to do more damage with Ice, more than Strohl and Grius because their base Magic isn’t as high as a magic based Will. 2:03 I still wish to keep Will’s overall stats as Balanced as possible depending on which Archetype I want to use on him. 2:35 Technically, we didn’t “kill” the dragon. Just scared it off.
While the Brigitta quest dungeon is full of enemies that go ballistic against mage and healer, it doesn't particularly react if you simply inherit mage and healer skills onto archetypes other than the two magicky stick-bashers. Which honestly gave me a bit more leeway to work with. Your stat distribution won't be as magic-focused that way, but it's enough to deal with the few elemental weaknesses that are actually there. After a certain rank on knight, you gain a cheap healing skill that only works out of battle as well, so as long as you aren't doing terribly in battles you can sustain decently well. By the time you reach the boss room, you'll likely outlevel the enemies enough that they can be killed easily on the field, so throwing mage onto your protagonist and going ham on them over and over can help get some of your MP back in preparation for the boss. Just remember to switch back to another archetype before going in, because IIRC it doesn't like casters with sticks either.
@@natchu96 that’s what I did. Save Mage for when I can beat them in the Overworld just fine. But used Seeker for healing. That’s the strategy I went with.
@@natchu96And with healing being stat agnostic in this game, not being able to run healer isn’t much of a penalty. Kind of rethinking my build since I made MC focus on magic to go for healer, but now I guess I’m free to build however I’d like and just put light spells on my mage.

Already knew all this stuff. I was hoping you'd mention some critiques people might have mentioned like bad localizations, and I don't mean the same ones that have been up everywhere already. Those aren't even the worst instances.
I’ve been looking into it and I think the localization is fine from everything I’ve seen! I feel a lot of people are making mountains out of molehills personally!
@@ThoughtBubbleYT It ain't. Particularly when you look at the recruitment board. Fairy says "Well that looks like a feminine name I wonder who they are" That is atrocious localization in that one scene alone, but the one with the recruiter is amateurish to be generous. @@patriot639 As I am not a localizer, nor do I speak Japanese, I don’t really have much leg to stand on to critique how it is brought over. In going to locknin on this game day 1 on thursday or friday. Afterwork will be filled of Metaphor journey to the throne. Really want to see how the story goes and develops
8:40 i bet all of them will become our allies. Makes sense considering we are trying to unify every tribe in that city and make the people treat every tribe equally with respect as we try to give the throne back to the prince. And also because the hidden archetype in the mage line made me think this way. Its an archetype that uses dark magic. It cant be the devil summoner though because there's the summoner archetype which i think where the devil summoner would be Im thinking the mage that uses dark magic which was mentioned in the book of the mages is actually the necromancer, and the purple haired guy is a necromancer so maybe its not just one or two of them that will become our allies, it could be all of them
I think that’s a fair guess, but I feel pretty confident that the Necromancer has done enough damage even just in the demo that he won’t end up joining us. I could be wrong though!
