Man I'd say it's my favorite UA-cam channel period. CBoys or Cleetus are a close second. Then Matt Carriker. But Jimmy and the gang do a good job of making you feel like you're in the shop with them just hanging out.
@turbocateyeS475 facts Jimmy's content wit the boys does go hard, but it's definitely one of my top 3 fav car content channel's, my top 3 gotta be, Adam LZ, Cleetus, and Jimmy but I can't put them in a fixed order cause all 3 are just top quality content
@@SwipeeGod556 that's what I'm saying big dawg. I casually view other channels like TJs, sometimes Ruddys. I really fuck with Toms Refurb. And CBoysTV is fa sho in my top 5! But I don't miss a Jimmy O, LZ or Cleet video and usually rewatch like 5 of the old ones a night. The builds are badass, each of their teams are top notch, every video has entertainment and you usually learn something. Plus they all seem like genuinely good dudes who are themselves on camera. We just gotta get Jimmy up over that 1 million sub mark and see what wild shit he will build next.

I am a machinist, and I watched you do that o ring groove, and i was impressed with the simple ingenuity! My only worry was your groove depth. So keep eyes out for vacuum leaks. But keep on learning how to machine stuff Jimmy! Love your work mate!

While using the carbide for cutting aluminum, whether it's an aluminum or steel specific carbide, every once in a while take the carbide and cut into some wax with it while it's being used and warm. Keep it lubed up with the wax. No more clogged flutes, serious game changer...

They constantly either work on homies cars or let them use shop space. When Jimmy first got this shop there was a red R32 there for awhile. If it was his car he'd either show it or hide it until he was ready. If you're clearly seeing it I'm betting it isn't his. Also he's not a dog. We aren't his boss. If he wants to take 15 videos to say something or never say it at all it is what it is.
having a machinist with a rad machine shop right next door is so clutch bro.
There is so many amazing machine shops in CT. Have to crazy to to send it to a new shop setting up.
@@Flacidross Johnny's not a machinist and that's not a machine shop. He's a fabricator with some equipment, far from a machine shop. He is an excellent fabricator though.

tried painting my own car with a fiberglass bodykit, failed epically. Learned a ton and had fun so next week I'm sanding it down and start over. I found a new respect to Brian & Spoon doing body and paintwork it's really tedious and precise work!

First things first, so jealous that you got a buddy you can just walk over to and borrow a lathe. Watching you just cut a gasket in to a brand new part gives me such "if Jimmy can do it..." motivation to learn.

The new color is gonna go so fucking hard on a S13 coupe! Especially with the pink accents and whatever livery Design Shop React dreams up. Even if you arent in the patreon, if you really pay attention youll know the color. Jimmy has only been in love with 3 colors, besides black and red, and 2 of those colors are already in the shop.

I love an auto tensioner. Especially when the OEM makes it super easy to change belts. 6.0 power strokes are like that, you don’t even need a wrench to change the serp belt.

that Finland event was wild! so many wrecked cars, so many drivers taken out by the weather. Adams top 32 should have gone 1 more time, but his top 16 could have been called the other way, Hartman came in way too hot. yeah Adam hit wall first but i think the damage came from the 2nd hit. We'll get em next time! Cant wait to see you in that S14!!!!!

Remember Jimmy and friends… port matching is great but you want turbulence with an intake manifold and sometimes making things too “smooth” can actually cause you losses in power.
So be careful what you’re doing but port matching the throttle body isn’t an issue and great job Jim!

And for the people that don't like metric, the other # on a belt is the length in inches. 740k6 would be 74.0" and the k6 is 6 ribs in case you need something narrower or wider, just change the number.

All depends on the products/ primers you're using on if you can paint over it without sanding. Our primer sealer can be painted over after a couple hours, but no longer than 24 hours. If longer than 24 hours you have to sand the primer

I have recently fell in love with a 69 Chevrolet corvair and I believe it’s supposed to swap the engine and make it a drift car you should check them out rear engine you should get one before they are too expensive done right they look awesome not the stock ones but on some rallies a lil low kswap or something its endless

You do have to be careful not priming a whole car, especially depending on the color you choose because you can have a variation in the color you got based on what’s underneath so be careful. Spoon is right tho there are levels to paint jobs, and this is a drift car paint job, but I just wanted to add that in, again it depends on the color if it was a light color like yellow or white I’d make sure the whole base is exactly the same color, black you don’t have to worry bout it as much.

Polyester primer for the win. I have repaired plenty of fiberglass hoods and fenders. Arrow straight.
You need like 3 mini split air conditioners in that shop what’s 5 6 thousand dollars for some relief from the heat that would be a priority on my list a min split at a few areas you mostly work at and they would still cool down the shop but there are zones where you would want them placed also a couple solar panels on the roof could help make up for some of the electricity
