Hi there, they don't, the simply supplement. It's like a crutch. Encouraging the body to create it's own acid is via relaxed eating, good chewing, making sure you have sufficient vitamin B12 and zinc, clearing any infections that might be present as they can disrupt acid production, or handling any autoimmunity that might be present. Thanks for your question, and thanks for watching!
@@forceawakens9386 cider vinegar and betaine HCL are themselves acidic, so they replace missing or deficient stomach acid. They do not stimulate or increase productoin of your own acid. To do that, good chewing and relaxation during meals is helpful, along with good amounts of vitamin B12 and zinc. Sometimes, treating underlying infections can repair the body's ability to secrete enough stomach acid as well. Does that answer your question?
Do you think the neomycin and the rifiximin just nuked everything to the point that it’s efficacy was offset completely? Also cross contamination is a major problem in the pharmaceutical industry so do not discount that possibility. There was an article on that within the last 2 days. Btw sorry your treatment did not work.

Hi Tony, thanks for brainstorming on my behalf! I have spent years dialing in my diet to the point where I'm pretty clear on my triggers. I can tolerate some raw veggies, and eat them, and not so much others (like onions, no way!) To be fair, I did do some traveling during my treatment round, so had to eat out a little bit, but I try hard to stick to what I know works, and the symptoms started before I left home. Regarding herbals, I have tried using all of them and I don't tolerate them well at all, which is how I ended up using this option, after struggling with SIBO for, let's see, 5-6 years. Thanks so much for watching!
I've done several, and I did one after this third round of treatment. MEthane was finally 0, and there was some hydrogen below the lab reference range, so SIBO negative. 👍

Many end up receiving another diagnosis due to little knowledge of histamine intolerance in Brazilian medicine. I have done a lot of research and I have all symptoms of histamine intolerance. I avoid consuming foods that raise histamine and follow a strict diet. Some imported supplements I can buy in Brazil, because these imported ones are reliable. However I don't have access to the probiotics indicated in your video, to import it would have a high value due to taxes. I wish someone could send me this probiotic, I would only pay the value of the product, free of import taxes.
Hi Pry, these particular probiotics aren't necessary to use, you can simply substitute any comparable product. What's more important is that you work to use each of the three types together, not the specific brands. I hope that helps, and thanks for watching!

@@Thepripoi Hi there, its super difficult to predict the outcome of specific strains of probiotics on yoru unique health and gut. Most research suggests a generalized blend of probiotics is sufficient to get the effect you're looking for. As with all food sensitivities that relate to quantity, it will depend on the dose and frequency, and your own individual response. Thanks for asking!
Haha! There aren't any, at the recommendation of my ND. She is in the "probiotics can make you relapse with SIBO" camp, while others, like Dr. Ruscio, are in the "probiotics help resolve SIBO" camp. I'm feeling ready to trial adding them back in carefully. Thanks for your question!
@@ConfluenceNutrition absolutely necessary after killing them with the antibiotics to reintroduce the good bacteria if not all the symptoms will come back like mine. I cured my sibo with the help of Gojiman on UA-cam. Probiotics are key but you need to know when to add them.
@@naturalbreed3745 It's true, AND we are all individuals. The research says that probitoics improve your chances against SIBO, and not just one shabby study, but a meta-analysis of I believe 19 clinical studies. On the other hand, the doctors that treat and study SIBO, like Dr. Pimentel, say they cause relapse. I know he is usually treating the sickest and most recalcitrant SIBO patients, but even as a coach, I see a lot of variability in people's ability to tolerate even the highest quality probiotics. I generally teach the triple probiotic therapy protocol that Dr. Ruscio recommends, but not everyone can tolerate all three. I myself can't tolerate all three! I do need to work on reintroducing, low and slow, but I'm not sure how it will go. My root cause of SIBO is a structural issue that slows down my motility, so adding too much probiotic may just allow too much bacteria into my small intestine, just by way of slow gut motility. So in short, it all depends! Even when research and others have succeeded, we do need to trust our personal evidence! Thanks so much for your comment and for watching.

I have bad breath issues since 2 years ,I maintain very good oral hygiene, even just after brushing also my breath stings very badly.Bad breath (fecal smell) is more when I my stomach is empty/ after drinking milk etc. I feel my mouth is always dry.On top of this I have scalp acne issues since a year.Even after consulting many dermatologists, acne keep coming in my scalp .Acne are really painful. After seeing your youtube videos I feel there is a connection between this bad breath and acne on my scalp. It will be very helpful if you can give any advice for this problems..Thank you
Hi Healing Vibes, I'm sorry to hear of your troubles, it sounds uncomfortable. Your acne and bad breath could definitely be connected, as well as your hypothyroidism. There can be a lot of root causes for each of these issues, and figuring out what to address takes a methodical approach. This means developing ideas about what might be involved, and then testing your theories. For example, does shifting your diet away from carbs help? Do probiotics improve things? I'll be running a training program starting at the end of september to teach how to do this... let me know if you'd like to learn more about that.
Thank you for your reply..yes, I would like to attend this training program..please let me know the details..So this training starts by the end of September, any suggestions / dietary modifications to start trying now..please help.
I have the nausea and loose bowels today on my 8th day of my first treatment . I am tired too.. i am afraid to take this because im going to be traveling out of the country. So i might take a break.
Hi Amanda....I am currently trying a different approach to my digestive disorder that includes SIBO by taking organ meat supplements to target possible auto immune problems ...I started with a Standard Process dessicated adrenal supplement and now take their Drenamin supplement....I also just started taking the Stomach/Intestine (1 capsule) & the Beef Organ supplement (1 capsule) from Ancestral Supplements , a small company located in Willis Texas....I still take bile salt and oregano oil with most meals....I am just winging it to avoid medical doctors...!
Hi John, do the organ meat supplements feel like they're helping?
@@ConfluenceNutrition
Amanda...I just started both Ancestral organ supplements this week so not sure yet?...I do believe the Standard Process Adrenal Dessicated I also took last month and the drenamin I take now help my systemic inflammation/stress...I am 72 and also have spinal related neuro-degenerative issues from old injuries so most of my organs are stressed...I encourage you to email BRIAN... the OWNER of Ancestral Supplements who offers amazing personal support along with his background in Biochemistry...
@@johnswain1672 THank you for the recommendation, John :)

I was reading a review about a successful SIBO treatment protocol that also involves systemic organ duct cleansing/detox as follows...
...use of several probiotics... Hyperbiotics Pro15 & Perfect Pass
...Pancreatic enzymes & Cholacol (bile salts)
...FC Cidal & Dysbiocide ( repeated treatment as required to kill Sibo
...Also use Stone Free for duct blockages to intestines,,,
...Enzymedica Digest Spectrum (liquid enzymes with meals)
....and last...Enzymedica extra strength enzyme defense 2x daily on an empty stomach for systemic cleansing
I would need a health coach to try this as the above person....What do you think about this product/approach?...no antibiotics...products on Amazon...
Thanks...John
How acid suppliments stimulate the stomach to produce it's own acid?
Reply!
@@richardworker9280 who are you? Do you know answer?🇵🇰
@@ConfluenceNutrition i mean how🍎 cider vinegar or Betaine hcl stimulate to increase acid?
I'm not sure, Richard, but I think it may have killed all the low hanging fruit, so to speak. I'm not worried it didn't work! It's just more information to flesh out my understanding. Thanks so much for watching!
@@ConfluenceNutrition It sounds like you have your head in the right place because this is a frustrating battle at times. Curious to see if you have ever tried Atrantil The clinical trials indicated 80 percent efficacy against SIBO/ IBS- C. You know biology & will quickly understand how it’s supposed to work. Long story short it targets the methanogens and the Hydrogen food supply simultaneously. As to how it actually will work is an open question.
@@richardworker9280 Hi Richard, I used Atrantil years ago during my first ever SIBO treatment protocol. I feel like it did help me reduce bloating. I used it beyond hte treatment protocol, and would use it again, I just generally am trying to keep my supplements to a minimum. Thanks for asking.
@@ConfluenceNutrition Well. If I am able to be cured ( I’ve got the Methane version ). I will let you know what worked. It’s highly unlikely that we have the same underlying cause ( or can IMO be a stand alone condition. Idk). Since you are also treating people or advising them maybe you can use my information to help someone else. I’ve got some ways to go that’s for sure.
@@richardworker9280 Thanks for the ideas, Richard. I'm going to make a new video to share, but I just got my results in from my follow up test: negative! So not really a fail after all, just herxeimer (die off ) reactions! Take care :)
Are you eating any RAW vegetables/fruits by any chance? Maybe cooked vegetables/fruits are better idea. How about taking herbal remedies like Berberine/Oil of Oregano/Myrrh? Stay safe…
Hi Tony, thanks for brainstorming on my behalf! I have spent years dialing in my diet to the point where I'm pretty clear on my triggers. I can tolerate some raw veggies, and eat them, and not so much others (like onions, no way!)
To be fair, I did do some traveling during my treatment round, so had to eat out a little bit, but I try hard to stick to what I know works, and the symptoms started before I left home. Regarding herbals, I have tried using all of them and I don't tolerate them well at all, which is how I ended up using this option, after struggling with SIBO for, let's see, 5-6 years. Thanks so much for watching!
Did you do another breath test to see if the Sibo is still present?
I've done several, and I did one after this third round of treatment. MEthane was finally 0, and there was some hydrogen below the lab reference range, so SIBO negative. 👍
would not a colonic irrigation or a round of cleansing enemas help ?
They might have in this situation, though I was having too many bowel movements! And I was away from home and didn't have my kit. I did eventually use one towards the end, which did help me a little bit.
@@ConfluenceNutrition I have a fear of overusing anti biotics and try to avoid them. I found pro biotics, baking soda enemas, fiber drinks and juicing help me a great deal
hello glad I found your channel. I have an intolerance to histamine and in Brazil it is still something little talked about.
@@ConfluenceNutrition thanks for the reply. Could you please let me know if starting taking rhamnosus probiotic alone will make a difference in my treatment? Or would there have to be other mixtures? I have another question… Can natural coconut water elevate histamine?
@@Thepripoi Hi there, its super difficult to predict the outcome of specific strains of probiotics on yoru unique health and gut. Most research suggests a generalized blend of probiotics is sufficient to get the effect you're looking for. And I'm not sure about coconut water and histamine...coconut is considered high histamine, but the water may be lower than eating coconut meat or milk. As with all food sensitivities that relate to quantity, it will depend on the dose and frequency, and your own individual response. Thanks for asking!
Where are the probiotics in this protocol?
@@ConfluenceNutrition i enjoy seeing your journey and hope you feel well soon.
My point is probiotics are necessary no matter what the case what is important is when to introduce them I'm not a doctor but he explained me the type of sibo that are common so i go off a majority which is hydrogen in my case.
@@ConfluenceNutrition hi i have sibo methane
When I use natural antibiotics and probiotics together I feel very, very constipated, now I have stopped the probiotics and reduced the fiber and continue to take the natural herbal also I added bile salts and added digestive enzymes and now follow the keto diet and low foodmap diet i eat two meals a day and fast for at least 14 hours, now I'm on the fourth day since I stopped taking probiotics. Constipation stopped and became diarrhea. I think it's a good step. I will continue with this plan for at least 45 days and then start gradually introducing probiotics and prebiotics to rebuild the digestive system.
i have some questions,
How do I know the appropriate time for the introduction of probiotics to avoid constipation?
I take apple cider vinegar after eating and also take capsules before eating to support stomach acid, but I still suffer from acidity, knowing that I am on the fourth day since the protocol started correctly. Is this normal, what is the normal time period for the acidity to disappear?
I don't know, can I reintroduce carbohydrates like rice and potatoes after 14 days of starting the protocol?
Since I started the protocol 4 days ago, I have had bad breath from the throat, is this normal?
The herbal remedies that I used are thyme oil, berberine, and garlic capsules because they contain allicin. I also take ginger tea daily.
As for my need of vitamins and minerals, I take my need of supplements and make sure to get them from a supplement with a natural source. As for minerals, I make sure to take multiple minerals of the type chelated
