Moody,I think this is the best boogie woogie song I have ever heard and I've listened to some of the best ever.Including Jerry Lee Lewis,Dr.K and many others from all over the world!!🎹
Love it! (I thought I left a Comment a few hours ago but I guess it did not take.) Great piece! I love the solid left hand that takes charge during the walking bassline and then goes so well with the right hand. Very nicely done! Thanks for uploading this piece!
@@creativetopboy I mentioned in my earlier post that did not "take," I saw on the jazzselection website you are from Rasht, Iran. I was one of the Americans in Tehran from 1976-79 (the Revolution) working for Bell Helicopter International. I was only 21 when I went to Iran. I really enjoyed the people, food, culture, and all that, but as the story goes, "Shah raft, man raft." I had to leave. I have fond memories from over 44 years ago. Finding you on UA-cam took me back to those days when I had a piano in my villa in the north of Tehran. It was a great time - well, the Revolution, not so much, but the rest of it was so much fun for a very young lad. All the best!
@@cggage Thank you for your comment, a real coincidence and very interesting for me because you were in Iran👌 I really hope that our beautiful country could regain its freedom. I live since 1979 in Switzerland - Berne. Shah raft man raft, 🤣by the way, I congratulate, you still haven't forgotten your Farsi BRAVO! 👍 All the best!
@@creativetopboy Thank you for the kind words! I, too, would like to be able to visit Iran, again, while I still have the energy to do so. I was hoping with the Obama Nuclear Agreement that this would permit some "cooling off" and allow everyone to "save face" for a period of 10 years, during which time there might have been a regime change, given the very young average age of the Iranian population, and the very old age of the mullahs in charge. But, then, along came Trump who threw a wrench into the works, declaring it the "worst deal ever made." That was only because Obama made it. I just hope the people in the rest of the world realize that entire administration was a "gutter ball" and not the real USA. I hope we can get back on course and open up the doors to Iran again. I remember hiking in the mountains, taking my motorcycle and driving through that long tunnel to the Caspian Sea. There were so many great memories from that time. BTW, my Farsi doesn't get much practice these days. I went to a local Volvo dealership. A young man with an obviously Iranian name tag approached me. I greeted him in Farsi. He looked at me blankly. It finally clicked. He told me, "Oh, I don't speak Farsi. My GRANDFATHER does!" I could not have felt any older. As it turns out, his father was a small child in 1979 and left Iran during the Revolution. The family came to the USA where that small child grew up, got married, had his own son, who then tried to sell me a Volvo. So, "old" is how I felt! I can't even go to a local Iranian restaurant and find people who are from our era. Oh, well! All the best, Moody! I sent a link to your video to all my piano friends. It's just great.
