- This is a 1978 Coleman 435E, 2 burner stove. These stoves are simple to use and to repair. They always seem to work. A new one today is about 160.00. You can find these for 30-40.00 sometimes. A new fuel cap and or a plunger will restore most of them for under 20.00. The other stove I have here is larger and is made from 65-72. It works great too. There is nothing like the smell of a Coleman stove when you are cooking. The original tail gate stove. Its great for traveling, hunting, fishing, and exploring.
Thank you for this, I bought a cheap one and it didn't come with a manual, it was nice to see a video for how to use it
They are great little stoves. Enjoy!
I've got a 425E also and dated 9/66. My tank is filled at the end instead of the middle. Works great and I've rebuilt and refurbished it. Now it's ready for cooking. I used to use it to melt lead for bullet casting. W Rusty Lane K9POW in eastern Tennessee
That's great! I never thought any melting lead. That's a good idea.
What does it run off of
Coleman lantern fuel or one similar for lanterns.
Mine has no date on bottom
That’s interesting!
