Thank you so very much for all your hard work to bring thousands of people to see BEAUTIFUL Santa Monica from home ,you are so wonderful ,God bless. Keep on walking!!!
I am SO glad you did audio as well as video. Many others only do video, and although they are good, they get monotonous after 10 or 15 minutes. Great job, ActionKid!! Cheers, mate!! :)

Hi Action Kid 👋 - For years I managed Moby Disc ( A 🐋 of a record store ) on 21st & Wilshire. Love the ocean air in Santa Monica. Nice to see my old hood 👌
This video brings back so many memories of my trip to LA. I stayed in Santa Monica and I fell in love with the place. I stayed right off of the beach and right near this mall.💕 I hope to revisit soon.💕 💗
AK delivered an outstanding presentation of the portion of the scene of the 3rd street promonade all the way to Wilshire Blvd. His stream of Los Angeles has made me feel a sense of anticipation to make videos of Downtown Los Angeles with the style of a New Yorker, being alert and commenting on every detail. Thanks AK.
Hi AK! I enjoy watching your videos! Thank you for showing us the world! I have always wanted to visit California. I haven't had the chance to get there yet. Be careful and stay safe! ❤️💃🏾🙏🏽🙏🏽
I have my friend that works at Sirius Satellite Radio he work he works in the mall by the marketplace so we we love all the videos you did so far thank you from Winter Haven
I followed the lifestream But I’m Appreciating this video more getting a full look of those beautiful beachfront houses. Thank yoU A.K for your hard work of going back through and recording them so we can see them clearly🤗❣️
Hi again. You passed the place where Farrah fawcett and Fernando lamas filmed for the Charlie's angels episode angel trap in 1977. Rog. Pacific sunset records.
It's changed so much since I was little! Hardly any of the stores/eateries that are there now were back then. We had Woolworths and JC Penney nearer to Wilshire; Henshey's Department store near SaMo Blvd and lots of mom & pop stores in between until about the mid 90's. Thanks for the tour!! 😊
@@ActionKid Sadly, as humans, we can at times be our worst enemy. It's terrible that this occured at all and especially the timing of it with your visit.
I really love this walk and You doing a awesome job, I really love this beach, towns, and beautiful communities, At 21:23, I really love her Black Crop Top, Jean Shorts Outfit, and her hair, She looks so adorable and cute, I really love that girl, She is now my bff
Nice video. I have visited for years and walked all over there more than a few times and enjoyed it each time. There is a nice Santa Monica Farmers Market a few blocks from the beach on the weekend. The park walking trail going North ends in a neighborhood that looked great. The walking trail on the beach going South ends after walking through Venice Beach right at the beginning of Marina Del Rey. Night time in Santa Monica is a blast, especially on weekends. The subway train from downtown LA stops above ground in Santa Monica a few blocks from the beach (last stop). The LA subway system is clean and nothing like the one in NYC - sorry, but I know I'll get comments about that even though it is true.
Former New Yorker and Miss America Bess Myerson ended her days in Santa Monica .She graduated from Hunter College and grew up in The Bronx . She had several city positions and was practically the NYC first lady to former mayor Koch who was unmarried .
This used to be one of my favorite locations. I'm not sure if it was the pandemic or what, it's since been dead and the crowd is no longer the same. It's ghetto and full of homeless people now. Sad times.
Wow. I lived in LA way back and that mall was not the hip place it is now. Had one movie theater showing second run movies and an designated Historic Building Sears the end. That was closed four years ago last time I visited. But still love it!
I used to work at that Sears when I was a kid graduated from Samohi (Santa Monica High School) class of '78 which was blocks from it and yes, it's really changed! a lot.
I am so glad that you're in California now. My son lives in Beverly Hills and it is so interesting to see the huge difference between here and New York. There is no comparison!! Great to see my son's neighbourhood. Best wishes from Leyland in England 🇬🇧🇬🇧
Wow, you’re in Santa Monica! I went to high school there... Santa Monica High School. I used to live on Ocean Ave. 1431 Ocean Avenue. It’s the really tall building across from the pier.

It's strange to hear u narrating Santa Monica - with a New York accent - I have the same accent. About Silverlake Ramen --- one of the owners is from the Silverlake area - and they just opened another Silverlake Ramen at The Collection in Oxnard, CA. I believe there's another one in Silverlake. My mother and I came out to Calif (from NY) in 1996 -- and we went to the 3rd Street Promenade late 1960s/early 1970s. It was 2 or 3 blocks - an open-air pedestrian mall. So happy to see people out and shopping and stores starting to open. It's been a very difficult 1-1/2 years for all of us.
Hi there! I'm glad someone recognized you. Do you plan on taking any tours while in LA or just randomly picking spots to walk? I hope you run into some actors
The Strand on the beach/Bike Path goes South all the way to Redondo Beach/Torrance Beach 25+ miles. Path goes through Marina Del Rey along the river back to beaches, Playa Del Rey, El Segundo, Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach and ends at Redondo Beach.
