FYI, Cat dropped all the letter's from the models. The older model was the D11T, however, the current version is just D11. Same with the D10, D9, D8 and so forth. Komatsu stopped producing the 575a over 11 years ago and you open the scene showing the 475, not the 575.

The commentator clearly has absolutely NO idea what he is talking about. If you're going to do a blog on a subject, at least make it something you can speak with some knowledge about.
The Deere barely even registers in dozer market figures, let alone being a market leader.
The Cat D11 is called a "Dee Eleven" by anyone who has ever had even one hour of exposure to a professional earth moving scenario.
The Liebherr 776 is just 4 tons heavier than the Cat D10, but the engine is normally tuned back to about 600hp because the rest of the machine can't handle the higher power. It is a very quiet, comfortable, and operator friendly machine, but its availability was struggling to make 65%. In the 14 months that we trialled one for purchase, it did 4 water pumps, a final drive motor (which then went through everything), and a multitude of other problems. Very little could be easily fixed in field, and even the quick-fill breather (which shouldn't play up) had to be repaired 3 times by tilting the cab, a 2 day job back at the workshop! Needless to say, our company updated the fleet of D1O and D11s with more Cats, because even at 40% higher purchase price, the D10 has a 93% availability, which is vital to production and paid for itself in very little time.
As for the 575s, it's widely recognised that they were a flash in the pan, and very few are used for anything except ornaments these days. Yes, they were powerful and productive, but after the 1st 4-5 years of use they suffered chronic metal fatigue among their myriad of other issues, and it was virtually impossible to keep them running long enough to get work done.
The 475s were much better, especially the later ones, but availability time is an issue to this day. They can rip more and push more, but again while they're parked up waiting for parts or technicians to get them going, the Cats just keep pushing. I have found the smaller and/or older Komatsu dozers to be equal and sometimes better than anything else out there, but generally parts availability remains a problem, and over the last 20yrs everything Komatsu also always seem to have lots of electrical gremlins.

Your not pronouncing the machines right and the D 11 has a 12 cylinder engine NOT 32 cylinder and the remote operation isn't an option from CAT the 575 is not in prduction any more as of 2012 and just over 50 where ever made Nice video of these units but more home work erquired
