    hearing other people's stories is so important. it's too easy to put parkinson's disease to the back of your mind after someone is diagnosed because in the early days it's easy to do so. My dad has early onset parkinson's and watching someone take every day as it comes is inspiring, but also heartbreaking when some of those days bring new symptoms. Much love to anyone watching this and empathising on either side, I want to be able to support my younger sister in understanding how our dad lives but that's something so difficult to tackle

    I have cervical dystonia and I have botox injections every 3 months but unfortunately I couldn't have them recently due to swallowing problems . My neurologist suggested that I wait for at least 2 more months . The botox injexctions help to lessen my head tremors and neck pain . Im also a mother of 4 children my children are aged between 8 years old to 10 months old. I look after my children myself I understand how this father feels and I just want to say how I admire and look up to him . He is so brave going on camera and educating the world about Parkinson's dieseas well done x

      oh my gosh, everyone, please research the carnivore diet. They use it for weight loss, but it offers so much more. We need cholesterol in our body, it is the healing potion and we should eat foods that contain it. Meat, fish, butter, organ meats, lard, eggs.... everything from an animal. Research it! There is lots on yt.

    Thank you for this video.. it is very hard to experience Parkinson's, and have a parent be diagnosed with it. My father God bless him was diagnosed with PD about two years ago. I'm afraid my family is still not at the level of understanding we should be. It is very hard on him especially because he lives alone abroad.. I'd love to learn new ways to aid him. This was very informative. Thank you and I wish nothing but the best for your and your lovely family.

    I've recently been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease..... i knew something was wrong two years ago but couldn't put my finger on it. At first i notice my balance was off, and my posture was slightly stooped and my body was stiffening. Last summer my left hand started to twitch. over the winter things started progressing.... increasing muscle aches, joint pain, stiffening and stooped posture, slurred and stuttered speech, and the twitch in my left hand became a tremor. A month ago after doing research i was able to connect to dots. Unfortunately my greatest fear became reality. I'm trying to process these four words that are changing my life forever..... "you have Parkinson's disease". God has one hell of a sense of humor.

    This breaks your heart. He is so young with a young family. My sister has the same although has had dementia with her Parkinson's for about 3 to 4 years of the 5 years she has had her Parkinson's but she is now 75, and although it is so upsetting to see her in this state, she is now in a Care home. But to get this disease at this young age is so bl**dy unfair. My sister has the head and shoulder tremors too although that side of it can change from day to day.

    I hope that within his lifetime a real cure will be developed for this dreadful condition. I do like that he and his wife have moved to a less cluttered and more minimalist lifestyle so they can focus on what is really important. It is something that can benefit everyone. DBS is a great leap forward in at least treating the symptoms of this frightening illness especially when compared to the drugs, which while they do help, I am sure have many side effects

Can you have both Parkinson's and HD at same time?

    My son was diagnosed in November 2017 at the age of just 29. To be honest he's not in a good way. Don't really know how to help him. He's drinking heavily and now admits to using cocaine. He thinks his life is over and no matter how much we talk I can't shake him from this idea. He's very anxious and struggles to do normal things. Don't really know where to turn. I will try and show him this video - to show him what's possible.

      @@choosyapplepickerproductio3594 Surprising, things are a lot better. His Doctors stopped changing his meds(which turned out to be half the problem) and things settled down. Also, he has met a girl, had a son and things are a lot better. He can't do alcohol or anything else because of the meds. She's great, does not take any sh*t and loves him to bits. A lot of his depression was he thought he would never be able to have a normal life - which he is now having. He is bezotted with his new son and enjoying his new family and now has a focus for his life. Thanks for your kind comment...x

    Research the carnivore Diet. The benefits of a carnivore diet or your cholesterol on the carnivore diet.....Just do it, there is so much info on yt about it. It is so healing. It is such dense nutrition. You know that you need cholesterol to rebuild those neurons, right? That's in meat, eggs, fish, butter, lard, olive oil, sardines, and drink only water or coffee and tee. Simple and so nutritionally dense, it's healing in a lot of ways.

    I know so little about Parkinson's. Is his case mild or severe?

    • @angelpaw
      @angelpaw 7 років тому +4

      Brittany Ritter Parkinson's is a progressive disease. His case is severe in that it has progressed to the point where his symptoms are so disruptive.

    • @logantyndall291
      @logantyndall291 6 років тому

      I wouldn't say it's super severe yet. Eventually a person will be completely dependent. He can still function each day but yes it is starting to affect his daily tasks. He looks to be in the mid-stages maybe 2 or 3 but everyone is a little different.
