    I had improved some issues in my foot by switching to zero drop shoes and using toe spreaders. I had really bad circulation in my foot and the toes were really compressed together. I was no longer having pain when I first got out of bed in the morning, but my calf tightness was lingering. This really helped.

    Heather~ plantar fasciitis can be a bottom-up problem (ascending syndrome) or top down (descending syndrome) problem. In my Low Back, Hip & Leg video series, I address all these issues. Visit my website (erikdalton) for published articles on this subject....thanks!

    Great information video.
    My PF is killing me even after doing exercises at PT.
    I've got to find something that works and I think I'm going to try this.

    Is there something I can do by my self, no pain but the extreme tightness is from the angle to the knee,

    Seems to be the only video that knows where the problems are when talking about PF. You can buy a foam roller to massage the calves and soleus at home. That's how I cured my PF.

    I am a L.M.T./C.P.T. who has suffered from Plantar Fasciitis for several years. I only found relief after exercise therapy with a DARD for strengthening the Tibialis Anterior. For me this completely relieved the chronic pain I had suffered with for 5+yrs. and I have been through traditional Physical Therapy (cortisone, ultrasound, orthotics, etc.) without any relief. Personally, I believe achieving synergistic muscle balance through exercise essential for correcting structural issues.

    Would cupping the calf, shin, peroneals etc do a similar job? I'm thinking self treatment

    • @daltonmyoskeletal
      @daltonmyoskeletal  Рік тому

      Cupping is great, but the short answer is no. They have different effects on the body and different mechanisms of action.

    I began dealing with plantar fasciitis more than a decade ago and I assumed there is nothing that can treat my condition. I was in fact mistaken about that since I discovered and tried out this plantar fasciitis remedy , Sαnzoka Mula (Go ogle it) 3 weeks ago. The soreness is now completely gone. I`m still in shock. I already saved over 100 on acupuncture and during these events that means a lot to me. .

      Look on the internet for Massage Therapy in your city, phone them and ask directly. I did, found one in Downtown Vancouver where I am!

    Erik is my fav. teacher of all time, have been in sports massage, structural bodywork, and corrective excercise for close to 40 yrs.I have most of his videos, but these periodic short videos, always reminnd me, O I have someone this week , that will benefit f this, havent used in a whileuse something very similar, and probably got off one of his older dvds, but my technique was slower, love the rocking motion, easier, on me, less time and more efficeient use of my energy, I repeat, love Erik.
