I like the way you safety checked you weapon and demonstrated it was clear, good job. I found it difficult to detect your carry with that holster. i have now subbed.

Great job on the video. I heard you mention a concern about the spring steel eventually wearing through the layer of neoprene. I watched a video made by Alien Gear about this specific holster and in that video they show a layer of ballistic nylon in between the neoprene and spring steel. I just thought I'd mention that since that was a concern you had. Once again, nice job on the video, I ordered my 3.0 today.
I did get it and wear it often. I bought mine for my M&P Shield. I normally don't carry in the 430 position so that took a bit of getting use to. The Shield rides very well and the holster is really comfortable as far as holsters go. I've tried appendix carry a few times with this but I'm not comfortable with it. Not to say others won't be though. I'm impressed with the fact I can carry concealed with just a t-shirt for an outer layer and it hides quite well. Overall I'm happy with the purchase and have recommended the holster to some co-workers.

If I understand you correctly your concern is the hardware that the "Shell" and belt clips screw into eating through the neoprene. If this is the case it's not an issue. I carry my LCR in a Cloak Tuck 2.0 in which all the hardware goes all the way through the neoprene by design. I can't feel the hardware through my undershirt or on my skin if I don't have an undershirt on. It's a pretty safe bet that if the hardware doesn't damage my undershirts or skin the neoprene is safe.
It's been more than 7 months since you have posted this video. Please share your what are feelings about this holster today? How did you passed through summer season with it? Did it feel too hot wearing it? How's it overall structural integrity and your overall impressions so far? Thank you for your honest opinion!
Have you compared or own a brace response holster? Looking to purchase a holster. Still kicking around a couple different manufacturers including Alien.
so just ordered my alien gear holster, I wanted your opinion and thoughts on this holster for skinny guys. I am 140 and 5'10 to give you an idea, do you think this will be a good holster? thanks for any help from anyone with knowledge on the alien gear line.

How long have you been using your holster, before the thread broke? Was it Tuck 3.0, 0r 2.0?

one more thing,I replaced the plastic clips with util clips check them out great addition for your every day carry

Add a drop of lock tite on the screws if they loosen up .i have my holster about 3 mos and i love it.iwb The have a shell for every gun.
