So our second home my wife and I did all the interior floor tile, cabinet stain, and painted all the trim. We worked late into the night but it was so special when we finally moved in. Hang in there guys, you got this! Gods good!
Prayers abound for the Young Rackley Family. Stephanie looked like she was about to start a tear shower. Is Stephanie eating? She looked thinner. The kids appeared to be enjoying the long back tard and pond. LFG, you and Ben will have plenty of room to kick and throw the old TAM Pigskin around. Stay strong, Prayers are surrounding your entire family, including Mom & LFD.
Thanks for talking about this, it feels like all you hear is work hard, sweat equity, keep grinding, but sometimes you just lose. Every story is "bought my house 5 years ago, did paint and land scaping, and doubled my money, put it down on a mansion and now my mortgage payment is 75 cents". I'm a 1st time home buyer (4 years ago), got a great deal and a great interest rate but now it feels like I'll live here forever because the next rung up is out of reach. I've put 30k into home repairs and other than the wall colors being different you can't tell I did anything. The flip side of that coin is I'm probably close to breaking even with renting so I guess it could be worse. Can't take a second mortgage out on a rental.
Praying for you brother. I’ve been renting for 12 years, I have a family of 5 and we are a single income family. We have homeschooled from the start and we have only ever had 1 vehicle. We’ve prayed and dreamed for our own home and a better situation financially. I feel you bro.
It’s such a great thing to see that you’re not just going to patch that basement floor and fixing it the right way. You’re such a great person. Keep it up. It’s not much but I will buy your merch to help out.
We have a chicken tractor we made ourselves. The grass is so much greener. We have a ground level, a secure second floor, and the peak of the roof is full of roosting bars. Water & food on the second floor. If you aren't worried about predators use an old trampoline with fencing around the under area. Easy to move shade and plenty of space.
It could be worse, that's pretty bad. My ex and I owned a condo, bought a house, because she was pregnant with our second. We were 5 days away from closing on the condo when it got struck by lightning and burned down. It took 18 months to rebuild.
On the Cross Timbers Bison Channel, they got a chicken tractor kit from another UA-camr that includes a roof, heater and water system. Don't rember the name, but in a afternoon, they moved their 7 wild turkeys they'd hatched out in an attempt to restore their 189 acre bison ranch with turkeys (Rio Grands by the way.).
Keep plugging away and continue to do the right thing. Good things come to those who wait have a little patience with the process and a return to you tenfold.
I’m a believer in, you reap what you sow in this world. You are good people with great morals. I will pray for many blessings to fall upon your family. Doing the right thing is always worth it.
Lots of prayers coming your way. We lost our house Oct 13 in a house fire. I feel your pain! What a nightmare. Im so sorry you are going through this! But of all people you and OSG got this. Sending healing prayers for OSG ❤
Brother we went through this same ordeal last year at the same time and it was rough!!! God has a plan for you and your wonderful family! So y’all stay strong. Also you and your family are in our prayers!
Your brain op went well, your family is beautiful, you will do the work and sell the house and settle your debts and still the stuff that matters is good. What you are experiencing is life, and it's mostly a beautiful one.
Life sucks sometimes.... it's what makes the other time more worth it. You are a great person, stay positive, pray and embrace the struggle. I'm going through it as well. Sometimes i just have to take a break, and recognize the suck, then get back after it.
Possum story cracking me up, I was a trapper forever and I have a fence with dogs , it’s a constant battle. We’ve had some battles and the possum walks away slowly and laughs at my effort.
You guys seem like AWESOME, AMAZING people where are all the friends that should be there to help with all the heavy lifting? Keep up the good work and hope things get in a better situation sooner then later. Wish I knew someone in the market for a new home in the Texas area
No more Tree fort is kind of sad but may god bless your new beginnings. Stay strong and have faith, you will make it through stronger and better then ever.
Prayers y’all, stay the course Brotha!! It’ll be worth it in the end 🫡 Cheers with a frosty adult beverage for you and Mrs Steph, y’all deserve 1. Appreciate the inside update, & I’ve been there in your shoes. It’s a Journey my guy. Keep us posted please, best regards from California Sir 👊🏼😎🤙🏼
Prayers that things keep moving in the right direction for you all. And I have to say, OSG is tiny little lady but the way she has been handling that furniture…. Well I wouldn’t want to make her mad. 😆 Strong! You are an impressive couple. Stay strong. Keep taking care of each other and God bless.
Love the new hutch! I just got one almost exactly like it on FB Marketplace, but for $200. I was going to whitewash mine too but decided to leave it pine cause it is so pretty! Do what makes you happy, but I love it the way it is!
We all grow up some of us are not even here anymore its called life enjoy your journey appreciate it 👍 every daytime 67 doing that even during the times enjoying seeing everyone
Keep on keeping on! The saying it could always be worse is heavy in the comments! I can relate to being in limbo like ground hog day with moving from one house and selling the other! We sold our 1900 farmhouse in 2020 and had two contracts fall through. One at 10 days and one at 45 days! Finally got a solid buyer and they wanted us to re wire the house! I said no, I’ll gift $1000 towards a new breaker box but that’s it! They accepted that offer and we closed 20 days later! But it was very stressful being tied to two mortgages and bouncing back and forth between the two locations to fix not pick stuff that adds up!
Oh man I feel for you guys. I don't know if this is worse or it make you feel like your not atleast not on the sinking ship alone. In June I game home and my whole house was flooded and then water mitigation company ruined my millwork and ceiling fans and killed all my fish because they made my house over 200° and still left water in the carpet and walls so a second water mitigation company had to come in after my house got classified as stage 3 ( sewage water) and flood cut all my drywall at 2', ripped out all my kitchen cabinets, all my flooring, my master bathroom got ripped out, master closet shelves are ripped out and and everything I own is packed up and stored at some off site facilities. Allstate wanted to pay $0 at first so I hired a PA the rebuild cost is ,$43,000 currently wants to give me $19,000. I'm disabled and live on SSID. I have been living in a hotel trying fight Allstate to get them to do the right thing and what I pay for every month. It's sad really the flood was caused by the fire department accidently shutting my water off instead of my neighbors and air got trapped in my line and it blew the fridge filter while I was out of town. If you have Allstate drop them find someone else anyone else. You are not in good hands I promise you. Living in a hotel sucks but living in a hotel and having back is awful especially on these beds. I absolutely wish you all the luck and praying I can do for you. I have a great contractor/ interior designer if you help ( I'm in Round Rock so we kinda close).
I know how it feels to be in-between two different households. I'm going through the same thing now and it's absolutely miserable but we just make the best of it for the children
Just one question, how did a home inspection when you bought the house not catch a lot of this!? Man I feel for you! Replaced the siding and windows of our first home before we sold it and ended up replacing half of the exterior sheathing because it was old particle board with zero home wrap and water had got underneath the siding and rotted the sheathing! Hopefully you’re near the end and just a few more weeks/months and y’all will have this behind you and settled into your new amazing house! If I was in Texas I’d help you out with fixes/moving/etc!
You're a good person most people would just put some lipstick and move problems on to the new owner. Just think when it's all done you can relax and chill out in your new home . Really enjoy the content have a goodnight and stay safe Jimmy from North Attleboro Massachusetts.
Justin good sir, how are ya?!Hey good sir! First, we keep praying for yalls move and the financial burden that it can be. I joined the Air Force at 30 and my ROI compared to my life before was… let’s just say scary. I’m overseas and as much as most love it, I hate it. Remember no matter what yall are going through, though difficult, I and my family live vicariously through you and your family. We have 2 out of 4 years left and we will pray every day for the treehouse fam. GOD BLESS YALL and big sniffs sir! I salute you.
Bro! I’m shocked you haven’t gotten more support from the community. I’m a local custom builder out of Fort Worth. I’ve got really great trades that I’d be happy to sent your way that can do a great job for you and I’d make sure they give you the best deal possible. Not to mention, I’d be glad to help you move! All I ask for in return is a few slices of pizza.
I made the same mistake. Know how many house payments you can make before you make major repairs to a house you are selling. Also be willing to drop the price of the home in lieu of repairs. Cash in the bank is worth more than what you sell your house for.
Man, the first house my wife and I bought in 2007 before the crash ended up strapping us when we had to move. Luckily the work we had put in saved us from a curb appeal standpoint. We thought we were going to have to pay $12k to get out of it based on comps. Ended up getting an offer and only had to pay about $1200. But that's still a lot for a student new grad (LSU) with a 4 year old. The tide will turn.
My dad had his J3 Cub antique WW2 trainer plane get damaged during a wind storm. He couldn't afford to fix it because he had us three boys by then . He traded the mess up plane for siding on our house and a new two car garage.
I’ll be praying for yall and I hate to hear that but I can make you feel better. I lost my business here in Georgia and I’m 2 months behind on all bills so I’m either about to lose everything or have to file bankruptcy right during the holidays. I’m debating on talking my wife it to starting an OF myself haha
I think you should do a diy chicken coop in the trees by the pond, just nail the fencing and roofing to the trees, and whatever wood you need, would be a hot spot for them insects and stuff, plus wouldn’t be in your yard, also plus you wouldn’t have a choice but to visit the pond while going to the pen lol
That stuff chilling up.on th3 floor is thin set. Its a self leveling p4oduct used before laying any type of floor . It will always come up when chipping the tile
The last time I watched your channel you were building the chicken coupe at the house you are selling! Feels like I’ve missed a lot! Now you’re building a new one at the new house! Lol
Have you thought about a hoop coup? You could do flip down wheels on one end and a detachable handle or hitch on the other....just to get y'all up and running and past this season. Prayers for your family brother.
The laser in the garage are parking markers. You pull your car in where you want it and then set the laser to hit a certain point on your dash so you know how far to pull in each time! The last time I watched your channel you were building the chicken coupe at the house you are selling! Feels like I’ve missed a lot! Now you’re building a new one at the new house! Lol
My brother law house is still on sale in Texas... Been already almost 6 months n people just wanna wait til 2025 n see if house price drop... Wish you luck LFG...

Living Traditions Homestead channel has a good how to video on building a hoop coop. I built mine using their design and it works great. 3-400 in material and I use treated lumber. 8x16ft.
i miss old googan.
I do too Homey, I do too.
I miss pre-googan
After they all started making money they all went there own ways
So our second home my wife and I did all the interior floor tile, cabinet stain, and painted all the trim. We worked late into the night but it was so special when we finally moved in. Hang in there guys, you got this! Gods good!
Long time subscriber. I’ve watched your channel since the Winston days, I’ll be praying for you guys for sure. It’ll work out, it always does!!
Do you mean Willis? His brain tumor.
@@Youre_Right his former dog who sadly passed years ago
Oh that’s sad. It must have been before I first found his channel
WINSTON PASSED?!?!?! GET OUT!!!!! seriously?
Hang in there LFG this too shall pass! Sending some prayers y’all’s way.
Prayers abound for the Young Rackley Family. Stephanie looked like she was about to start a tear shower. Is Stephanie eating? She looked thinner. You are me 40 years ago! Keep on making the right decisions and God will honor that! Your family will rise and call you blessed!
Praying for you and your family
I pray everything works out okay and that you will prosper.
Thankfully you guys can still laugh about it! Pray everything get done and you sell it! 🙏🙏🙏
Im glad your showing the other side of home ownership, sometimes things get harder than we think!! Keep moving forward and stay positive!!
Been watching the channel since 2011 or so, when you had the Texas A&M wrapped boat. It’s been fun watching you and your family over the years.
It’s such a great thing to see that you’re not just going to patch that basement floor and fixing it the right way. You’re such a great person. Keep it up. It’s not much but I will buy your merch to help out.
Man, every time I see Winston it reminds me of my pup that I lost 2 years ago, got a grown man weeping over here 😢
Prayers go to you and your family. Can’t imagine the frustration and praying this season is all over sooner.
Prayers going out for you brother. God Bless 🙏🏼
God Bless you guys! Hang in there, y'all got this!

Been a long time since I’ve seen some Winston memorabilia!!!!! Tugs at the heart strings.
Your brain op went well, your family is beautiful, you will do the work and sell the house and settle your debts and still the stuff that matters is good. What you are experiencing is life, and it's mostly a beautiful one.
I’m going through a hard time right now so this actually helped me

You can get a GPR scan of the floor to see where pipes are before you start busting it out.. additional cost but could save you money in the long run
The chicken going with you was hilarious

I lost my business here in Georgia and I’m 2 months behind on all bills so I’m either about to lose everything or have to file bankruptcy right during the holidays. I’m debating on talking my wife it to starting an OF myself haha
May the Peace of the Lord be always with you and your family, Yes, Home is where your Heart is... Godspeed ❤🎣
0:08 The OG’s of the channel miss poor old Winston!

The last time I watched your channel you were building the chicken coupe at the house you are selling! Feels like I’ve missed a lot! Now you’re building a new one at the new house! Lol
Merlin bird app is a sanity saver for figuring out what bird youre hearing!
You’re a lucky man to have a wife with a sense of humor
Have you thought about a hoop coup? You could do flip down wheels on one end and a detachable handle or hitch on the other....just to get y'all up and running and past this season. Prayers for your family brother.
The laser in the garage are parking markers. You pull your car in where you want it and then set the laser to hit a certain point on your dash so you know how far to pull in each time! The last time I watched your channel you were building the chicken coupe at the house you are selling! Feels like I’ve missed a lot! Now you’re building a new one at the new house! Lol
Best of luck moving forward man, some thick pad and plush carpet makes whoopties go away, or good old floor leveler and a ton of patience.
One word, CARPET !!!
My brother law house is still on sale in Texas... Been already almost 6 months n people just wanna wait til 2025 n see if house price drop... Wish you luck LFG...
God has you in his hands my friend. Follow his lead.
Met him at Dfw airport back in September. Nice guy
Big fan of you guys….I’ll keep you in my prayers. I totally understand what you’re going through. I’m a contractor/carpenter, it gets out of hand quick. Give me a shot with the squad and I’ll come out there and give you labor for free….😉 You guys are very bright and talented I’m sure this will be a tiny speed bump in your lives. Chin up y’all
Hoping for a quick sale once you get the floor done!
The Googan Squad is no longer the same. Years have passed and so has the team. Sad to see. Its going away slowly.
If the concrete is that out of level could try skim coating the entire floor to level it up. Will also have a nice finish to it.
Next episode LFG is working at the beefcake warehouse packing jerky for flair❤
Repairs. Shoot! Crazy times to be doing it right now. Three months from now it will be way cheaper. Sad it has gone like it has. Prayers
Keep grinding, buddy. One day you'll look back and this will be a short step on a long journey with your family.
Cheering for you from Lake Fork.
I remember when Emmy was born! Holy crap! She’s so old now!
Prayers 😊
Living Traditions Homestead channel has a good how to video on building a hoop coop. I built mine using their design and it works great. 3-400 in material and I use treated lumber. 8x16ft.
Love ya and the videos love your spirit in the long move
