    Thank you Chams Media. Kenyans deserve more of your stories and less of political crap and foreign soaps. In countries where systems work, Turkana would be a vibrant city. Keep giving it your all Alex. You will be remembered for this.

    I would advise Chege to develop and utilise artisans and handymen from Kenya by helping them get contracts and papers. It doesn't have to be Indians and Pakistanis working below the engineer! I once saw a Kenyan do an amazing finish on pillars to look like marble, he also did an amazing gypsum ceiling and then another Kenyan did amazing golden lighting above the gypsum shape. It's hard to believe there are people like this hiding somewhere in Kenya.

      FYI United Arab Emirates has a visa embargo on Kenyans since around 2006 so as much as he would like he cannot employ them! Kazi ni kwa Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

    • @kimanih6903
      @kimanih6903 3 роки тому

      @@motosana1 What do you mean by embargo!? My 3 colleagues and I went to work on a project in Abu Dhabi. Countless Kenyan security and cleaners at the airport. Then when staying in separate hotels, 2 of them had a Kenyan in mid-level management. Also met a Kenyan G4S guard in a mangrove swamp in the middle of nowhere and many Kenyan tour guides in Dubai. Embargo???????????

    • @motosana1
      @motosana1 3 роки тому

      @@kimanih6903 You noticed right - majority Kenyans (as with other Africans) in the Arab world are in lower cadre jobs - security, cleaners, hotels etc- these are employed through off shore companies who outsource them to companies such as airports, buildings maintenance etc. Their visas are from OFFSHORE ENTITIES. Maids, who are majority, are perhaps the only ones employed under direct mwarabu visas because they stay in the house of employer. The two Kenyans in middle level management either have visas from offshore entities too and outsourced to hotel or they obtained their original visas BEFORE the embargo.

    • @kimanih6903
      @kimanih6903 3 роки тому +2

      @@motosana1 Thanks for the clarification. What would it take to start a similar offshore company or partner with one in KE?

    • @motosana1
      @motosana1 3 роки тому

      @@kimanih6903 Offshore commonly referred to as FREEZONE companies are registered in designated areas within United Arab Emirates. You can search UAE freezones and communicate with them. They are often divided in specialization zones so media have Media City, int'l universities have an Academic zone, Textiles, Design, Diamonds, Manufacturing etc. Each freezone area aggressively seeks for investors and more so now that many left due COVID. It's not cheap though so read the fine print.

I think he tried to promote Green Beans (French Beans) farming in my area where he supported small scale farmers with expertise, inputs, etc. But they were lazy and felt it was hard work.
