Making these videos in the vertical format has been working well! I did however discover an issue. I don't have a device capable of showing off my vert vids. Well, it was time to fix that.
It was a little spicy in the shop today but that's ok, we will get it done. Table space is very valuable at events which makes this the perfect design do to the much smaller footprint.
I have the Artist Reception at Slanted Art Gallery in Montrose on Friday evening and Founder's Day Tunkhannock on Saturday!
I feel sometimes it's a lot easier to show someone how you do something instead of just talk about it. So this is my solution. I build a TV mount and stand that will hold the TV sideways and be sleek enough to not take any attention away from the media. The main support is leaned back to aid in balance and give a better viewing angle.
The sheets of steel I used were from the bottom of boxes of parts from my metal supplier.
I figured, I would use some hammered look style spray paint to coat it quick. It ended up taking about three hours or more to dry completely. All I have to do now is rotate the videos 90 degrees in the editor and we get Widescreen Portrait mode in 720p.
The next milestone for another rose giveaway is 5,000 followers on TikTok.
