As much as I love Metallica, I’d have to go with Maiden on this one. The only thing that would appease the gods would’ve been to finish with a duet of Metallica playing Remember Tomorrow🤘

This has to be the best riff battle of all time. Maiden and Metallica, in my opinion, have the best riffs in the world.
They have some great riffs but frankly, my vote goes to Black Sabbath and Led Zeppelin for the greatest guitar riffs ever made.

Metallica does have monster riffs, but I’ll listen to Maiden wayyy more than Metallica. Plus Maiden is just way more fun to play on guitar or bass. Up the Irons! 🤘🏻🤘🏻

Maiden has better musciians, though I loved Metallica up to their black album, if you want riffs, Black Sabbath totaly kills Metallica in the heavy metal scene, Maiden is more melodic metal. But in terms of skills in live performances, Metallica is fucking sad compared to Maiden.

I adore both bands, but listening in a direct comparison, Iron Maiden sounds like a classic rock band, while Metallica is pure heavy metal :D

Metalica sounded like a classic rock band in places too.
Some riffs of Iron Maiden were played with a lighter less heavy tone than Metallica so that’s why you get the classic rock band. And they are to style of 80’s metal/hard rock. As Metallica is US and Iron Maiden is British. I liked Iron Maiden more but not saying anything bad about Metallica because they are both bands. Edit (Hallowed Be Thy Name was my favorite riff from this vid. Great cover Danilo!)
I've played Metallica riffs with my AC/DC (Classic/Hard Rock) tone and I actually like it better.
