    For the A/C line by the strut tower brace - just bend the A/C line inward slightly. You don’t want that A/C line riding on the STB, it will eventually wear a hole in the line. Also, there is an affordable aluminum throttle body elbow available on eBay. It’s way less restrictive. Thanks for the videos. Looking forward to more...! 🤘

      Its also available on summit, just bought 1 for 89.99 due to having a hard time putting on the rubber stock one

    Thank you very much for your video and comments on this UMI Performance Strut Tower Brace. As a result of your review and installation, I am now waiting for my UMI Performance strut tower brace to arrive in the mail. I have a 1995 Camaro Z/28 1LE.

    I had to replace my transmission mount on my 93 z28 about 1 month ago if you get any jolt from the console area that’s the issue. Just a heads up! Thank you for these videos it’s really helping me keep my car up and running

      Common break. Replace with a poly one. Take care.

      Same thing with my 97 Z28. First time it happened the bang was so loud I was sure something broke. Trans mount rubber had separated from the metal part.

    Fun fact about your z28.. You can buy a Key fob off ebay for your car. Three relatively easy to program to your vehicle. Makes life a bit easier than always having to physically use the key each time to open trunk & doors.

    Sweet video! I just got a 97 z28 vert and stumbled upon your video.
    Very helpful. I’m not the most mechanically inclined so this video really helps motivate me to do some diy installs. Got yourself a subscriber 👍 keep it up

    Yay, Camaro content!
    Nothing like the roar of the LT1🙂 How's that STB for body roll? I was thinking on doing my 96Z28 drop top, just heard negative things like its a waste of $.

    Beautiful car. I also have a Red 95 walkaround in my videos.How much faster is the z28 compared to the Mustang?

    It looks like your new control arms have urethane bushings. I would have gotten urethane bushings for the sway bar mounts as well.

    I have an odd question, did replacing the lower control arms, end links, or bushings change the ride height in back any? Did it also make the ride rougher in back?

    • @ReynoldsRides
      @ReynoldsRides  3 роки тому

      I did not see a change in ride height. They did make the handling stiffer (which I guess could be equated to rougher).

    Where would I get the new center console lid?

    Wrap that frig line with a piece of black rubber hose, that's about the same size.

    You didn't have to take off the AC sensor to install, and also you can slightly move the other AC line so it's not rubbing.

    • @ReynoldsRides
      @ReynoldsRides  3 роки тому

      I did have to remove the sensor. I tried installing the brace without removing it and couldn’t.

    • @4thgenZ28
      @4thgenZ28 3 роки тому +1

      You could have moved the line over a bit and it would have fit. I have installed at least 3 without removing it. Just trying to help others that may watch this video so they don't do an extra step when not needed.

    • @ReynoldsRides
      @ReynoldsRides  3 роки тому

      Honestly, I’ve never dared to bend an AC line. Do they bend easily?

    • @4thgenZ28
      @4thgenZ28 3 роки тому +1

      @@ReynoldsRides Yes they are very easy to move, just aluminum lines but just don't go too crazy with it lol.

    Replace the stock rear end and upgrade the tranny ASAP! I am finally doing it after putting it off for 26 years. I got my 94`Z convertible in Apr of 97` with 9000 mi on it. It now has 99,000. Do this before anything else. You will not be sorry. It will save you time,money and disappointment. Have a good day. From Sioux City,Ia.

    8:05 Do not do that swerves with your car near to other drivers, because they could think You are drunk, they could be scared, and it could contribuite to an accident. Repent and believe in the gospel of Jesus, the Son of God, the Messiah.
