    Went to a casino in Mississippi and there was a new guy at the table who didnt know what he was doing and was taking a while per hand and asking what he can do. The dealer got so mad repeating himself that he started yelling and swearing at the player. I was shocked, ive never seen dealers swearing at the players like that.

      That’s a shame, a true professional like Bobby funk would never do something like that

      @@cardsandcapital Yah, it wasnt a great experiance. There were only 3 tables going, one was 3-6 with everyone potting every street so it was basically bingo, and then two 1-2 no limit. Sat down at the no limit and most people had only like $300, then two guys walk in togather each with $700 and sit next to each other. The waitress asks if anyone needs drinks and one of the two tells her not to bother because they are gonna clear the whole table away.
      The bet would be like $2, call, raise to $12 and then they would raise to $180 (roughly half a the other peoples stack) until everyone folded and then the two would check it down over and over refusing to play against each other. The other thing was that they would talk to each other in a foreign language during the middle of the hand. Everyone left and they laughed about it, but got angry when the other table only had one seat and demanded that they would only play if both got to play and do it again. The floor did nothing to stop the obvious collusion

      @@cardsandcapital The poker tables in minneapolis were much much better and professional

      Jeez, rough that they are trying to break the game, but you can seriously punish monkeys for playing like that. The foreign language allowed at the table is not okay. That should never be allowed to happen. If you see that again, you’ll have to embrace the variance but play a tight range against them and jam with top end hands. You’ll have some big swings, but chances are that you’ll come out ahead. It’s not a fun game, but can be very profitable

      This is all assuming that your bankroll can handle the swings

    Great video. Maybe mention etiquette of the aggressor/raiser showing first and tipping the dealer!

    Regarding stacking chips: You have to place your highest denomination chips in front for everybody to see.

    I noticed when you demonstrated all in the other player put all his chips in even though he had more than the person who placed the bet. When someone goes all in do you just have to put in the equal amount of their chips,or put all of yours in?

    • @cardsandcapital
      @cardsandcapital  Місяць тому +2

      Good question. If you are calling an all in, you can announce call and put a chip in. The dealer will sort out the amounts after the hand is resolved. Keep in mind that if a player goes all in and they have less than you, you’ll want to check the remaining stack sizes of other players in the hand. If you say “call” It is only for what they bet. You may want to instead announce that you are “all in” to bet your entire stack so that a player who calls you will now be calling for all of your chips and not just the initial all in amount.

    What if I have to go poop when I’m sitting at the table?

    • @cardsandcapital
      @cardsandcapital  Рік тому +1

      Haha, you are allowed to take a break while leaving your chips at the table. Most rooms have a 3 missed blinds rule where they will pick you up if you are gone for long enough that you miss your big blind 3 times (about 25 hands). That’ll be plenty of time unless you have something serious going on😉
