Flashbacks to Ryan Shazier's injury. Lowered his head into an oncoming player like Sesay did here. Just hope his injury is mild and he'll be back soon.
sckmydck yeah. They said that he is in good spirits. Hopefully that is a good sign.
He was moving
That's why footballers need to learn form tackling instead of jumping in head first and praying for the best
I wanna feel bad for these guys but they did this to themselves by lowing their heads.
Shazier would still be here in NFL if he tackled the right way
As long as he's awake, aware and able to move his limbs. I held my breath but was relieved when he gave a thumbs up, get well soon!!
BeepBoop iBotU
cringe
One time in high school a friend of mine was a sophomore when I was a senior and he took on a block as a RB during a pass play and he got knocked out and had to be woken back up, he could walk though. When I was a junior a senior we had was playing safety and took on a guy on the sideline and got his back pretty messed up and he couldn't feel his legs, he had to be take off on a stretcher and they had to cut his jersey and his pads off, he was able to come back later in the season though. I'm glad this guy was giving a thumbs up
Stoned Caterpillar yeah that’s why playing football is so fun yet it’s so risky
Scary stories man, that's why a lot of people i know are telling their kids just not to fuck with contact sports :/
When I was in the 9th grade I witnessed a player on one of our rival teams get hit so hard and he got up slowly and eventually seemed like everything was good. Apparently, he collapsed on the sideline shortly after. Ambulances had arrived for seemingly no reason because everyone was paying attention to the game until the game was halted. They sped off and everyone was wondering what was going on. That night, the kid was pronounced dead.
I wanted to be more candid at first but it feels weird calling him ‘kid’

I did not know Taylor as he was part of the opposing team. But this event really brought the game of football into a new light. Our schools became connected in our grief. To be in the halls and see the way our own players carried themselves following this incident was insane. I think they all became men that day.
RIP Taylor Haugen.
If you guys want to spread some awareness, here is the link to the foundation. taylorhaugen.org
That GMA video is so eye opening and I can almost not stand to watch it anymore. What a tragic night that was
@@mikebarnes7441 that's heart breaking Mike, thanks for sharing your story with us man...
Hope he’s Okay I pray he gets back on the field soon
I'm glad to see that the XFL takes injuries so seriously. Praying that this young man makes a full recovery.
I've officiated high school football usually it is a precautionary measure, usually when a players is down and complaining of neck pain and back after getting hit in the head, just want to ensure their neck or spine isn't injured.
Ryan Thapa respect to ya’ll for knowing how to handle stuff
@@wilt3051 we are trained when ever a player is down after a blow to the head and is complaining about neck and back pain we call 911 and let the EMTs and paramedics take care of him.
@Andrew Man111 I've never been hit hard but I've had players hit me, I played all throughout middle school and high school definitely got rocked a few times when I played.
I hate how this kind of resembles Mason Rudolph's injury against the Ravens
That's exactly why I put kind of. The beginning didn't look like it at all, but the injury itself and other things just brought Mason to mind
Yeah, you're right about that one, but both were just terrible to see.
Oh damn, Hope he’s okay
Damn that’s scary. Hope the dude is okay
It kind of makes me mad that the dude that hit him was yelling at him while he is on the ground not moving👎
Kylan Scott yeah! The commentators were saying that!
Was he yelling at the injured guy? Or was he jawing at the people who tackled him?
1:26 I don’t think he realized, he looks a bit worried
He wasn't even talking to him.
he was probably talking to the guy’s teammates
0:37 "remember me, b**** a*** n****"
People who played know where that came from. Especially who played defense
Here before “ dude you’re so fast”
🙏🙏🙏 to Dragons' Mohammed Seisay. I hope his injury is not severe & he has a speedy recovery. (From BattleHawks fan.)
I hope that he's back and able to play the game he loves so much soon. 🙏 At least hopefully the XFL handles player injuries better than the AAF (what I'm referring to here is how the AAF shut down operations and completely left the players out to dry with some being completely stranded).
That was f*cked up somebody was trying to make a quick buck.
Get better seisay❤️
Prayers to him and his family
when i was in third grade i went to one of my brother’s high school football games and one of his friends was tackling and hit his head on the leg of one of his own teammates. he broke his neck and was paralyzed. he can kind of walk now and he actually lives down the street from me now. this was probably around 10 years ago. it was very scary but the whole community came together especially since we had just had an elementary student die in a bus crash in our town.
0:08 Does the Running Back puts up his middle finger after getting down?!!
I believe it was a pointer finger forming the one symbol since he got a first down
It was his middle
No 0:25
He certainly, without a doubt, flipped off the defense. 0:25 is the correct stamp, check that out and tell me otherwise.
Dang your quick nice love it keep up the good work
Bro that hurt him was celebrating and bragging like the defender doesn't have a possible serious neck injury.
Throughout playing football middle school and high school the worst that happens to me was a broken finger (I’m also going D2 for football wish me luck)!!!
0:28 he flips the defender off lmao
Our TV was muted when I came back to this and I instantly feared the worst at seeing the whole field kneeling. So I was really relieved to see him move and be able to give the thumbs up. Really hope he is doing okay
Damn Mo. I know they taught you to tackle better at EA! Sike, I hope you doing alright. Heal up quickly bro.
Never lower your head going into a tackle.
Ouch
What did the injury end up being?
We really dont know yet
I don't know why don't we ask him
We don’t know but it looked like a concussion, neck injury, or maybe a back injury. I don’t know this and I’m not a doctor so take this with a grain of salt.
gucciboykaiden he did get kicked
A broken freakin neck
I’m a St. Louis fan I’m happy we got the first but man I feel really bad now and I hope he is okay
Brawl With Jack nO body wishes to injure. A player but the guys who trashed talked him on the ground really thought h e was ok then realized he hurt him and he regrets it
Deletisthefitis Lol I don’t think he was trash talking the guy on the ground. We don’t know who he was talking to so we can’t make any assumptions
God Bless
I hope he's alright
Theses guys show more respect for their opponents than many nfl players would.
Oh my gosh that must hurt
Wow
Gotta keep your head up people gonna end up like shazier if they keep takling with there head down everyone needs to join the heads up program n learn how to tackle the safe n right way with there heads up not down.
Now thats a hit stick. Goodness
Glad the injury isn't too major and hope for a nice recovery
When I was in the 9th grade I witnessed a hit that killed a 14 year old kid on one of our rival teams. He got up and you could tell he was feeling some sort of crazy feeling that made him hunch over as he walked it off.?Eventually seemed like everything was good. Apparently, he collapsed on the sideline shortly after. Ambulances had arrived for seemingly no reason (because everyone was paying attention to the game until the game of course, initial it was halted)
The ambulance sped off from the sideline area near the opposing team bench. Everyone was wondering what was going on because there was no obvious injury scenario like the ones you are used to seeing like in the XFL video for example. Although I’m sure the away team fans and students had a much better vantage point being right near the away bench. That night, the kid was pronounced dead.

Edit: So I wanted to be more candid at first, but it feels weird calling him ‘kid’
I did not know Taylor personally, but I felt the weight of his passing. This incident was unheard of, nobody ever expected this kind of thing to happen especially at a high school level. It really brought the game of football into a new light. Our schools became connected in our grief. To be in the halls and see the way our own players carried themselves following this incident was insane. I think they all became men that day.
Face your target head on face up !
Xfl hard hitting....hope he b alright
Even if he says he' fine, thank god they all take care and be easy. This is no joke, adrenaline can carry one through a lot more than what Seasay took.
Welcome to the .....XFL
This is why the NFL has its player protection rules
Did y’all see him shoot a bird at 0:28 lol
Damn
If a running back who lowers his head hits a defender who lowers his head, all blame on the RB. Run with your head up.
I’m surprised Myles Garrett didn’t come hit the guy at 1:49 in the head with a helmet for his blatant act of black face
Get over it already
Chick-fil-A lol. “Get over it” says the guy who’s offended by a joke. Nice!
I was there. I didn’t see what happened but I’m glad he was moving his legs. You hate to see that no matter who you root for.
Wtf happened to big boys face @ 1:46
Hes shook
Nigga got hurt getting trucked 😂
I guess seisay didn't seesaw the hit coming lol
Hitting a bull dozer
Dude got KNOCKED THE FUCK OUT
I'm enjoying watching the XFL, but man these people are AMATEURS to allow themselves to get injured so much, and lack control.
I mean, have you all noticed the number of injuries that's been occurring? It's insane!
Keep America Great!
Now let’s see if this man can get the right medical attention from the XFL
Looked like he was moving his legs and arms so that's a good sign
Whatever level of football play, it`s just a game in the end. Get well soon!
I literally just got the noti lol
Mohammed Seisay recovering from broken bone in neck.
Hope you recover quickly bud
Damn. I seen some Ryan Shazier there.
"HIGHLIGHT STICK" should have appeared above the scoreboard.
Injuries like these make me not wanna play football anymore.
bih got his ah rann df ova
Didn't even look like a big hit at first but when you see the replay he got stuck right in the crown of his head by the RB and it bent his neck kinda odd too. Yikes.
Every body's knee on the field......I've never see anything like that
Defensive players should all know by now not to lead with their heads. Thank God he looks like he'll be okay.
I understand the running back doesn’t understand the severity of what he just did, but he could not have been more unprofessional about it. He literally flipped off the defense when they tackled him. I also get that the XFL is a bit less restricted, but does that really mean you can act like that without consequence?
he broke his neck
I hope he is ok. I knew him from the Seahawks
he broke a bone in his nevk
That’s what happens when you don’t get lower than the other guy
i hope shit like this isn’t what kills the xfl
He got a stinger. He’ll be back in 2 weeks
He got a broken bone in his neck though...?
RB running his mouth is just trashy.
Don’t tackle with your head down that means you’re afraid
Lowering the head like that is may gain more yards but why do yards matter when everyone involved pays for it with injuries that last for life?
Because they are playing for their livelihoods
I estimate he broke that clavicle
Waw
Still dont think a running back should be able to put his head down like that. Hes lucky he caught the shoulder pad.
In the words of Cowboy Troy clickety clack big and black coming down the track playing chicken with a train. That young man is a freight train coming through be careful when coming at you
So nobody seen bro stepped on his head
@highlight heavens no game highlights?
adamaze he does! The most viewed XFL highlights! Check out the recent ones
@@Graphics_Card yeah i noticed that... its just that plenty of youtuber got copyright strike by ESPN for streaming the game,, thats why i asked why he didnt do his usual highlight
adamaze oh! He doesn’t stream games! Highlights are allowed
Why is no one talking about the running backs massive neck
That's illegal because he lowered the crown of his helmet
what is up with these announcers? Acting like because the contact was legal it was his helmet getting grazed by a shoe that led to him getting taken off in a stretcher...
Why juke the guy when you can just truck him
Wasn't he a former seahawk
Hopefully it's just a stinger/minor tear and nothing serious with the neck/head.
It’s a broken bone in his neck. He has a neck brace but said he’s in good spirits
@@thetrainwxgeek Damn, hopefully he recovers. If he can't play again, hopefully he finds something he can passionately do.
Damn you hate to see this shit
Pos u always run back and make sure hes ok
This looks pretty bad. Just hope he ends up being okay.
Dang these XFL players couldn't hang with the big dawgs in the NFL
Raymond Harris what do you mean?
How clear do I have to explain lol
Raymond Harris no, just why?
1. They're practice squad and below level players so no, they can't.
2. Bro has a possible career-threatening injury. This could happen to anyone.
@Tim Tom A lot of these dudes couldn't make the cut on NFL rosters... I don't think so.
Vid idea best QB blocks
Isn't there a penalty for helmet to helmet?
Not sure if it's the same for offensive players, but I believe the RB led with his shoulder.
Low men wins.
NO - YOURE BECOMING ONE OF THOSE UA-camRS WHO CAPITALIZES ON UNFORTUNATE INJURIES
Specimen he isn’t monitized u dipshit
O_O
He’s gonna be irrelevant for years to come that running back or whatever he was
Jack Marlow he already is.... he’s in the XFL 😂
Scary injury ? Nope.
