It was because he was another take on Spiderman and before the Avengers in the Marvel Cinematic Universe was a thing. The people who read the comic books liked it. The people who only watched the first three Spiderman movies thought it was a shoddy cash-grab remake by Sony (I mean - it was. They had to make a movie every x years or they would have lost the license to Spiderman films and games). There are people who are just now learning that DC and Marvel both have multiverses and don't get that it was just an excuse for multiple comic writers to make different variations of the same characters but still somehow be cannon.
I don't like that I didn't get to see him fight Rhino though that was a crime against humanity. Rhino is like the best fight in the comic books and video games but they never show that fight in the movies.
For me, all three actors bring something special to the role, with Andrew Garfield being the best all-rounder character actor. I liked his Peter Parker and his Spider-Man best and felt he filled both rolls really well, where I thought MacGuire's Peter was a little too reserved but he was a great Spider-Man, and Holland was an excellent Peter Parker, and his Spider-Man was a bit too... I dunno, cutesy? They all did exceptionally well in the role, though.
I'd say he's definitely the best actor of the three, and I think the only spiderman who really focused on acting with body language in the suit to compensate for no facial expressions. No shade to toby or tom. It's too bad the writing just wasn't there for his time as spiderman
Get a fuckin bodycam on that police officer at 1:34 Jesus Discharging a weapon at an unarmed civilian, while also shooting in the direction of the guy stuck to the wall
But its one the most accurate depictions of American police I've seen in superhero movies. A body cam would have just got him desk duty for short while.
Tom is a good spiderman but peter? No for me. I know he's the youngest Peter but nahh. Just nah. He's written as a selfish kid, though he's on college, and actually acts immature, true all Peter are goofy but Tom is just too much. Did him dirty I'd say.
I've been thinking this for years, but has anyone else thought "why did the cop shoot knowing there is a possible innocent civilian behind spiderman?" I mean yeah it's movie so whatever, just a random thought lol
BTW the airplane near collision scene is completely unrealistic, because the ADS-B in and out still works just fine on the planes, which means they would see eachother on their navigation screens, and TCAS would also work.
Not gonna lie seeing that scene with the car thief made me think about what he said in no way home and how he stopped holding back on criminals 😳 he could’ve suffocated that guy
Țin minte acu mult timp în urmă când am văzut benzi desenate cu eroul meu preferat Spider-Man,de atunci am devenit fanul Nr 1,și atunci a fost de prin anii 80',și mai ales este și amuzant.😁
😳Bro…we just seen a piece of Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man, that just gave the😧 craziest 👹“villain vibes” 😈after that web shot to shut the robber up. If he wanted to tho👀that’s the scariest $h!t ever😭😭 Edit- UA-cam don’t take the comment down please 🙏🏽
See, this is what I didn't like about Garfield's Spider-Man. He isn't supposed to be so cocky, self-assured, and mean-spirited. Funny, yes. But self-deprecating, awkward, and a bit silly. Not just a jerk.
Hi everyone! What grade (out of 10) would you give this video?
I give it a 1.
Spiderman was a real jerk.
@@myklmusic lol but funny as heeeeell

@@myklmusic oh i forgot andrew is the best spiderman

Idk why people didn’t like Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man. I enjoyed it especially with all those quips and jokes he puts into it

I’d say Andrew is the best spiderman because of his teen like jokes
I like Andrew
Garfield was by far one of the best, actually looked like him had the attitude everything. Sad we never got to see him in more.
Yeah

@@pataflafla-pata yeah
@@pataflafla-pata how about Tobey
Tobey is the OG

0:58 I just noticed Andrew spins those webs like he’s boxing! I wonder if he was thinking that specifically.
In my opinion, Tobey MaGuire was the best Peter Parker, Andrew Garfield was the best Spider Man... Tom Holland is a good combo of both.
That's the way I've always explained it to people as well
Tom is a good spiderman but peter? No for me. I know he's the youngest Peter but nahh. Just nah. He's written as a selfish kid, though he's on college, and actually acts immature, true all Peter are goofy but Tom is just too much. Did him dirty I'd say.
I hate how tom acts like he's nervous all the time
My thoughts exactly. Almost as if Tom took notes from both of them.
@JadenOmega he did a bad job at studying them lol
He definitely the best Spider-Man to me wish he coulda kept his role and be in the mcu.
9:37 Him getting frustrated with Gwen was absolutely hilarious 😂
I will say this , Andrew s films had the best action , and his character had a lot of spider like action
The best movement, suit, banter, and portrayal of spiderman imo
I like how he didn’t start swing immediately like he knew he could do it from the start😂 true master piece that takes a lot of thinking
Garfield! The best Spider-Man . Hands down 💯
Cruuuuuuutch 😄
This really reminds me of something deadpool would do
Probably why comics Deadpool adores Spiderman and wants to be besties with him.
Andrew is definitely the spidey they should use if they ever do a Deadpool or venom movie with Spider-Man
If it were all the best scenes from the Spiderman movies, then the entire movies from all of them would be here.
I loved the part where Rhino and Sandman go to Napa to taste wine and get their groove back.
Andrew Garfield is a good Spider-Man, he doesn't get the recognition he deserves
Please make the amazing spiderman 3
You mean no way home
@@FaroukpearceNo, there was gonna be The Amazing Spider-Man 3 but it was cancelled. No Way Home isn't that replacement.
Probably the most underrated Spider-Man. Tom is just too kiddish for me.
Couldn't agree more
I've been thinking this for years, but has anyone else thought "why did the cop shoot knowing there is a possible innocent civilian behind spiderman?" I mean yeah it's movie so whatever, just a random thought lol
This suit is the best spiderman suit!
Just from this video, it feels like Garfield Spider-Man is the best using the web shooters.
It takes skill to pull off what he does with that.
me personal i like the scene where they help him get to the tower that one was my fav andrew spider man scene
Best Spiderman hands down
Toby and Andrew has the best storyline. Tom has the best costume and collaboration with Tony Stark.
9:48 is exactly why she died, the guy is literally spider man and you're not going to listen to him????
Cos she is his girlfriend...
I love the added spiderman theme song with electro
Best spider man ever
I think there's no question that Andrew Garfield was the most spider like out of all of them.
You are gonna take care of this jerk, I am gonna take care of your mom- Spiderman
Of the different live action suits this is my favorite.
BTW the airplane near collision scene is completely unrealistic, because the ADS-B in and out still works just fine on the planes, which means they would see eachother on their navigation screens, and TCAS would also work.
Incase y'all didnt know about TASM3,sony canceled the making,so sony wanted Andrew in NWH.And he will be in Avengers doomsday aswell.
very fitting the criminal is rocking a "man" bun
Not gonna lie seeing that scene with the car thief made me think about what he said in no way home and how he stopped holding back on criminals 😳 he could’ve suffocated that guy
15:01 come to daddy 😂
We need Andrew as spidey and ryan reynolds as deadpool together in something.
I thought Andrew Garfields version was the best spiderman. It's closer to the real spiderman in the comics.👍
Every time Gwens father looked at him
The webbing on the car thief's mouth wouldn't be permanently stuck to him?
Best 2010's moment.
He is the best spider-man ever
Imagine if we had a epic live action ben 10 movie that was as good as the live action spiderman movies
Țin minte acu mult timp în urmă când am văzut benzi desenate cu eroul meu preferat Spider-Man,de atunci am devenit fanul Nr 1,și atunci a fost de prin anii 80',și mai ales este și amuzant.😁
Hard to choose Tom or Andrew to ey will always be the goat
That cop just killed the car thief 😮 1:43
The time stamp shouldn’t be after the event happens 😂
Tobey strong
Andrew speed
Tom smart
