I prefer Royal Caribbean and that’s because I go with adults. I feel like a princess when I’m on that cruise ship they treat you so well food is yummy
So you don’t feel like a princess on the cruise built by the princess people?!!
This is the same reason why I chose Disney cruises 😂
I'm genuinely asking, does the different destinations or ships make a difference on the food? We sailed our first and only cruise to Alaska on Quantum of the Seas with RCCL and I really thought the food was terrible. We did main dining and windjammer and food was terrible both places. I am not a food snob either. I just didnt enjoy the tatse. Is each ship different throughout the line?
Me too bro I like royal more
@lyricjohnson-xq2jb I agree 👍
In my opinion, that comes down to how much you like Disney
Disney used to be the bomb back in the early 2000s, but now their movies are trash
Super duper lamb as Carmen would say
Nah I don’t like Disney that much but dcl is great
Right... like I enjoy watching the movies when they come out but... that's about it. Looking at what is available, RC seems more my jam.
I just got off my first royal cruise as a fairly frequent Disney cruiser never again the food behavior of the guests attitude of the crew etc was all way worse
I've been on several of both and every time I think I prefer Royal, I go on another Disney cruise. You really can't beat the magic of a Disney cruise, no matter your age.
But what are you really saying . You’re talking out of both sides of you’re mouth .
Disney is the best in my book
@@MauriceMambaShe's undecided
@@MauriceMamba😢,u
@@agreatmannamedlieushe said she preferred Royal
I would go on a Disney cruise even without my kid. We’ve been three times. Absolutely love it.
ive been doing disney for 10 years now lol.
I've done Disney's cruise line and their food was the highlight for me as well as the Disney glasses we got to keep
I have been on both royal and Disney. I think they are both amazing but as I am older now the activities on the Disney cruise have gotten more for children. Royal also has some of the best cruise ports an private islands. They are both amazing but I’ll have to give it to royal Caribbean for this one
I’m a huge fan of DCL but I can also be the first to criticize them when I think they’re doing something wrong. Everyone raves about Castaway Cay (which I’ve been to 4 times)… but I gotta say- compared to Coco Cay it’s pretty subpar. I mean it has a beautiful beach and great excursions (like parasailing and snorkeling) and I really appreciate Disney’s commitment to Social Responsibility by taking care of the stingrays and keeping the island 80% undeveloped. On the flip side, Royal has what looks to be a fully functioning water park. So Royal takes the win there but maybe DCL will get redemption points with its new island: Light House Point!
But in the regards of Entertainment, Dining, Quality, Theming, Service, and of course Youth Activities Disney takes the win.
Royal is definitely better for Adults (in most cases). And it’s cheaper. And it has larger ships that have some of the coolest activities at sea.
It’s the tiny touches that really make things, and that’s why I believe that you should experience a Disney cruise at least once, but after that it’s good to try something else and weigh out your options after for which you like more.
The “Disney Difference” rlly does make the inflated price tag worth it.
Honestly, I'd prefer Disney for an Alaska voyage bc I know they are such quality. They only sail out of Canada though and the airfare is quite different. I'm comparing the other 3 main family ones but still....something about a Disney cruise 😍😍
Not a Disney adult, kid can take or leave it...and we perfer Disney to royal because of the atmosphere. Will gladly go on both 😊
Nah royal is way more chill and cheap + disney dosent cruise to alaska where i am right now on quantum of the seas
@@Yfchhfyf we enjoyed the quantum in Alaska! Have a great time :)
Disney does cruise to Alaska on the Disney wonder they even have special deck shows for it as well called frozen night and alska buffet and free hot chocolate
The price of a disney cruise is more also because besides the 3 themed restaurants, all food places are free and so are drinks like soda and water.
It’s not free if it costs more… it’s just added in the price and even with the additional cost it’s still not worth the value. I have been on 8 cruises and I have no intention of stepping foot on a Disney cruise.
@@fredflintstone5356 Seriously.
All food places are not free, those 3 are, but there are speciality restaurants.
Bottled water costs.
But there are more "have to pay" or "need ultimate dining/drinks package" on RC.
Also also, and correct me if I’m wrong, but there aren’t casinos. Plus it’s Disney lol
@@fredflintstone5356yeah, that’s what he’s saying, it’s more because you get those extra amenities… have you ever even been on a Disney cruise ship? You seem salty because your preference is inferior and you know it.🤣
I went on a disney cruise once and our server traveled 3 floors to just get me a plate of jello.
W server
Any cruise line would do that
@spencerricchio101 eh probably but I don't care. He was a majestic Asian man
@spencerricchio101 no they wouldn't
@@user-gz7bs3xx5w they would tho. They get paid gratuity
Definitely Disney..the food and the variety of restaurants is better, but ya gotta like kids
Disney has way more adults only sections too. It’s almost like Disney understands parents want to get away from the kids for a bit.
I'm not a kid person, but on Disney i don't notice them unless they're in the Adult only area.
Disney staff is amazing especially the waiters and servers
I have been on the Disney Wonder and you will not get a more luxurious experience on a cruise ship than with Disney. From stem to stern, those ships are clean as a whistle and the staff and onboard entertainment is world class.
There are many more luxurious lines than Disney by far. Silversea, Regent, etc are REAL luxury lines. Disney is glorified and over priced b/c of the Disney label. You travel because it's Disney. As a base line it's mediocre and other lines offer similar service for less.
RCCL. I don't want to be around kids.. I want to relax with adults. Raised my family
Yes. Princess and Virgin are almost childfree Cruiselines. Virgin is strictly adults only.
Especially the fact that there are kids clubs you can take your child to if you have any.
@@fluffytail6355The way they market Virgin Cruise lines I don't know if I'm to young for them or too old for them. They make them look like a floating frat party!
@@ThatGirlJDeveryone who does a review says they do market as a party, but that they are just regular cruises.
@@ThatGirlJD There are people in their 20s and people in their 70s (and everywhere in between) on Virgin Voyages. I believe the average age is somewhere in the mid 40s, depending on the sailing.
Royal takes the W here. The pricing is so much less and it’s so worth it
Loyal to Royal
that’s a good motto for the royal fans
I agree
Royal is good if you like a lot of physical activities while Disney is more family friendly for young kids. Both are equally fun experiences though
Royal Caribbean is the best. It’s way cheaper than the overpriced Disney cruise.
Lmao, Disney doesn’t charge $80 per person for a hot air balloon ride. They also don’t charge over $200 per person for their water park. Disney doesn’t charge for soda or room service. They also don’t charge for their pool deck food. Have fun paying for Sorrento’s pizza, lol. Also, RC activities are an additional cost. How much are you REALLY saving?
@@mindyschocolate maybe I don’t want to do all those things? In that case, I save a lot of money for not paying for something I wouldn’t be doing.
@@mindyschocolateyou should do your research before spouting off misinformation. What you said is not remotely true. The private island does have a fee for water park entry and sodas do cost around $50 for the week but only the food in specialty dining charges you. All activities are included with your cruise. If they’ve added a charge to on ship activities then we’ve never seen it and we do almost all the activities on every ship. That still doesn’t justify charging $2,000 more for the same type of cruise.
Disney is beter for families and Royal is better for a person or a couple
I've never been on either but I've been on one carnival cruise and they did not disappoint
On a Disney cruise, get the highest room possible, and farthest back you can, if you’re on the outside that gives you the best views you can get and whether you are or not it puts you a short walk away from the buffet area for if you’re hungry for something room service doesn’t have. (Especially on a sea day)
Thank you for your advice
I've been on several from both cruise lines. Disney took the prize when my daughter was young. Now that she's a married adult, we much prefer Royal (or even better, Celebrity).
Love celebrity but yes, definitely wouldn’t be as fun for kids/teens/young adults
I've only been one one cruise ship in my life (And going on it again next year!) so my opinion is invalid. From my experience, I loved Royal alot- at least on Anthem of the Seas since it's the only one I have been to. That was for my 21st birthday. It was a total game changer for me because it made me feel like a rich person for an entire week, and the fact that I'm having that luxury again is amazing.
In port, the Disney ships are tiny with a few pools compared to other cruise lines.
Which is why we can actually eat our food without waiting for a long time. Imagine being on a ship with 6k people. Lol, PASS.
@@mindyschocolateYou also have way less things to do onboard, bigger is better. That’s just how it works. Disney ships look tiny next to royal Caribbean’s oasis class ships.
I’ve been on Both and Royal 100%
I went on a Disney cruise ship a couple days ago.
I love it. I love it. It is so fun.🎉🎉🎉🎉
For me...its all about price. I've recently helped my brother book a 4 night cruise on Disney's Wish, their newest ship. It was almost $4000 for the three of them to stay in a balcony room. That's crazy.
He could've gone to Europe for that!
Disney is the best for me there staff and house keeping is way better then royal tho the price is higher its still worth it
We just took a Disney cruise on the Wish , amazing ship, really enjoyed the food and entertainment, we have a 3 year old and she loved it, pricey but Disney set up for parents makes things very easy.
I’ve been on both,oasis and dream.I prefer oasis/royal
We traveled on Disney Dream 4 times before trying Royal Caribbean. I think RC has better food options and you can get food anytime. Unlike Disney. they both have beautiful ships.
We can take two cruises on RCCL for the price of one Disney. Their cruise line just like their parks are way overpriced.
Fair point.
But everything is paid for on Disney besides special editions like alcohol tastings. Everything on the other cruise lines are add ons, It’s like spirit airlines of the sea.
@@RecycledTrashbag the only thing included with Disney (and Virgin) that isn’t on others is non alcoholic drinks like coke and fresh juices. I’m not spending $1800 for drinks on any ship. Everything else is included on non Disney ships that’s on a Disney ship unless I’m missing something that justifies the enormous jump in prices.
@@ohboy2592room service isn't included on Royal, right?
@@Skibum6711 yes, it is. I believe you still owe a gratuity though. We don’t ever use room service so I’m not 100% on that.
Disney is obviously better with several areas for both kids and adults AND the reason why it's more expensive is because it is all included besides adults restaurants and spas. This is just my opinion and feel free to correct me in replies. ❤
Same with royal but cheaper
Disney is great if you have kids in the younger side, more things to do as a family, if your family is all 16+ then Royal would be much more fun.
I think any age can really enjoy Disney though! Now if the comparison were RC or NCL, then yes RC because all their activities are still included in the price.
Haven't done Disney but just did A RC cruise and had a great time 4 days for me and the gf with deluxe drink package was less than $1400 besides what we spent in the casino we spent $0 on the boat besides tipping housekeeping staff was great and they even recognized us by names at out frequented spots there was plenty of food options at the buffet and main dining which offered a different menu everyday and the 24 hr Cafe there was tons to do from 7am-3am swimming, jacuzzi (open 24 hrs besides cleaning), rock climbing, water slides, basketball, mini golf, pickle ball, belly flop contest dodgeball contest, shows and a club with a bar that was open till about 2-3 am we had more fun on the boat then the two places we stopped at
Even i was too affected by the flies on the chicken, i actually started swatting at the screen! Food safety is very important so the management should take this issue very seriously.
Both win❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉😊😊😊Last time I went on Carnival Edge, it was very beautiful❤❤❤😊😊😊
Royal Caribbean, it’s the best cruise line I’ve been on
You might want to factor in the $240 RC wants for their water park next year. Oh, and Disney doesn’t charge for room service (except booze) and you don’t have to buy a soda package with them. Imagine having to have a drink package for soda. RC charges less for their cabins, but they nickel and dime you for everything else. Water park, hot air balloon, how much are those activities in the ship (surf rider, zip, one, etc)? Also, I hear RC is looking to start charging for their pool deck food like their pizza. I’ll stick with Disney. At least I know upfront what I’m paying for and getting.
Yes exactly, disney may seem like alot when paying upfront but they have so much included
Perfect Day at Coco Cay is not a port everyone attends...even with buying a soda package no.way will that add up to a 1500 per person, 3-4 day Disney cruise. I can do Icon of the Seas for the same price, 7 day cruise
Why not just raise your kids that everything doesn't have to be about THEM?
The activities on the RC ship like flow rider, zip lining, rock climbing are all included also all the extra food and drinks are an optional purchase because they already include tons of food and drinks with the cruise
"how much are those activities in the ship (surf rider, zip, one, etc)?" WhAT??? they charge you for the activities ON the ship you're STUCK on???
I gotta say that Disney is the number one specifically because of the themed ships, fun attractions, and the awesome musical horns that beat any ship in a horn battle. Also because the food wasn’t good on the last royal Caribbean cruise I went on
So one cruise and you discount a whole line? LMFAO child! Last RCCL food was great. You can get a horn sound anywhere on UA-cam...find a better argument. Themed? So you over pay like a good corporate sheep. I'd sail on NCL, MSC, RCCL, Carnival, etc before OVER PAYING for overrated Disney. Food is okay, Same attractions even missing some. Better slides on RCCL. A rock climbing wall, Flowrider...better private island by leaps and bounds at CocoCay with a better waterpark. RCCL owns the Sheep Line.
Went on 4 night Disney Wish cruise with my family (2 children 10 and 4) and got back today. Im really sad its over, it was truly a magical experience. (First time cruiser).
Honestly, I am really I love love the Disney cruise line especially because it’s a horn. I’m actually going there another time because it has been it’s about my third time. I’m about to go there so thank you for doing this. I give you a like.
I've never been on a royal caribbian criuse but ive been on 3 disney cruises and from what i ve heard about royal cadibbian id have to go with disney because its more geared towards kids and i think the staff treats people better and i love how you can still get the disney feel without having to go to real disney
In my opinion Disney is better I feel more safe on it more than royal
I am loyal to Royal! I love their bigger and more intimate ships. They have something for every age. 🚢 . I go on my 9th cruise in September
I tried the rest and found the Mouse is the best!
The Disney Difference of better theming, youth activities, dining, and amazing crew more than makes up for more activities and bigger ships. Going on my 9th and 10th next month.
For me, the price and amenities gives royal the win.
Never been on Disney huh
@@carlycruise doesn’t have too, Royal Caribbean is superior in pretty much every way, better food, bigger boats with more entertainment, excellent ports, and cheaper, Disney might be better if your 5
@@shadowcastytyou either huh?
@@shadowcastyti aggree with everything exept the food, but still royal wins by a mile
Royal Caribbean because their cruises are chill 😂
Did you forget that no Disney cruise has ever sunk?
Has any Royal Caribbean cruises ever sunk?
Yes
No Royal Caribbean cruise has ever sunk. Look it up if you don’t believe me. And I have never been on a Disney cruise but they seem to hype so that’s just my opinion
@@Toastedallday100😂😂😂 what?
I love Royal Caribbean. The price is reasonable. In the past there were so many activities for our daughter. Now she is grown, I can’t wait to see how she likes the adultcactivities
You can’t beat the Disney magic
Done Disney Cruise 5 times up until my son was 18. Now all we do is Royal. We just cater now to more adult theming.
Nothing can beat the Disney feeling, but the reality is Disney is more expensive. You get what you pay for right?
Totally agree!
Well in the Disney cruises all the food and drinks and stuff is included in the price where Royal Caribbean you have to pay for additional drink packages which are very specific with what you can and can’t have.
@@sofia7816 nobody drinks $2,000 in drinks on a cruise. Basic drinks aren’t worth the increase in price. They need more to justify the cost besides adults dressed up in costumes
Well there fireworks all sodas free and on formal night you get free alcohol and non alcoholic special drinks and there character meet and greet and free take out foods on the Disney wish you get free Mexico and bbq food and others as well and a snow cone to cool you down. on Disney Alaska cruises you get a free alska inspired buffet and free hot chocolate and if in other countries free water as soon as you get back on the ship you get given water with an option for flavoured water and normal and ice if you like free ice cream on there private island an adult only area as well teens have there own dedicated teen area and children on lookout point has a kid area where they have there own private food place and your saying that it not worth the price?
Thanks ❤ I’ve been on Disney and the most memorable thing was the dining but I’m going to go on my first Royal Caribbean cruise this year so I hope it’s amazing
In my opinion I would have to say Disney that just might be because I’ve never been on a royal Caribbean cruise before and I’ve been taking Disney cruise’s since I was 7 and have loved every single one, but all that I care about is spending time with my family and making memories❤❤😊
Royal for adults - Disney for kids ( young and old)
27 days and counting….. who is going to the 2023 Key West Fantasy Fest? October 20th to 29th. This year‘s theme is “Uniforms and Unicorns” 200 years of sailing into fantasy. The theme reflects the Florida Keys 2023 bicentennial. It’s to celebrate 200 years of the United States Navy in the Florida Keys.
I prefer disney, disney smells amazing and everybody is so sweet.
Love the Disney ships
. I will still.sail.Royal too.
I prefer Disney Cruise lines because the staffs worked hard for making their passengers entertained and making Kids their dreams come true.
Both do that...enjoy paying more for less just because Disney's name is slapped on it. Good corporate sheep!
Is Disney cruise very crowded? I went to Royal and it didn’t have big lines
Disney for children and family experience, royal for fun and price.
RC prices are getting higher to the point that on certain weeks both cruise lines cost the same
I just went on royal carrbien yesterday and got off today and it was so much fun
Disney Cruise Line WINS without a doubt. FIREWORKS, FIREWORKS, FIREWORKS! Only on DCL
Royal! Mostly because I can do multiple Royal cruises to one Disney cruise and 2 the activities are amazing! The people there are great and support you just being your true self! I love the dance parties, activities, and yes lower amount of children!
I love Disney becuse it was my first cruise and I love the Mac and cheese
up to 400!? it like 1600 now....
I been on several different cruise. I still think Disney is the best. Because if you have a food allergy. They will bend over backwards for you. No other cruise has done that. I tell them I have an Food allergy. I’m allergic to Onions and Cinnamon. They don’t asked me anything. We tell them I’m allergic. I still get food with onions and cinnamon in them. Disney is the only one that cares.
Royal also ask if you have allergies
I am also allergic to cinnamon and on disney they made the dishes that I wanted without cinnamon but on royal they just pointed out what I could not have.
The biggest difference for me is that, because Disney has free sodas and doesn’t have a drink package, you’re less likely to have to deal with absolutely hammered adults, which has unfortunately not been my experience on other cruises. I’ve never seen someone falling down drunk on a Disney cruise and I cannot say the same on a Royal.
My first was royal and I’m nine and it was 2 months ago with my dad and I made a friend on the cruise also I’m going on a another one on carnival in 31 days
Do Disney vs carnival
Nah the rccl disrespect is crazy
For those wondering, the song is If I Was Your Girlfriend by Mondays
both winner
Disney you can drink soda without a drink package and room service is covered in the cost of cruise
my royal corribean made us pay 2k per person and we had a total of 8 people, so we had to pay 16k 😅
Don't take new ships in summer. Those sounds like crazy new ship prices and a week long cruise. Disney would've made you pay double
I’ve never been on any cruise line. We might go on Carnival some time in the future but as a car enthusiast I’ve heard they had go kart tracks for residents in the cruise line? Sounds fun 👍🏻
I went on a Carnival Cruise and I loved it. They had activities for the entire family and the food was great!
I went on Norwegian recently which had a go kart track and it was totally disappointing. Cost extra, almost impossible to book a time, and cars were extremely slow and overall not that fun. Better off doing it anywhere on shore.
NCL has race tracks on their newer ships. I thought I read it was $15 per person but maybe more.
As someone who has been aboard both I can say that when it comes to amenities, royal wins but when it comes to family endorsements Disney wins since I went on Disney cruises 7 times during my entire childhood
We love DCL. We went on 5 in one year because it was just so much fun lol.
You can't compare because they're different ship sizes and products. Disney is considered a premium line. Royal CL is entry level.
I LOVE DISNEY SMMM but Royal Caribbean wins it for me. recently i found out abt these ships cus we talked abt it in class, and legit love how many(28) cruises they hv and they are all so wow-worthy! I havent went on one
YET
Disney the characters are just NO WORDS
I really don’t know especially because I have not cruised yet but my family is thinking of royal for our first if wonder is available we will take it
But one time at Disney I was at a pool and a lifeguard was yelling at random people like respect little jimmy lol and the another kid dropped a disk track on him😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I'll do virgin before either, they don't charge for any food outside tomahawks and lobsters, they have cheaper prices for alcohol, longer times in port, and most importantly, no kids
RCCL nickel and dime you for a lot of things. When you add up the total, but are about the same. DCL service is second to none!!!!
😂 Not…
Don't really agree, went on Royal once a few years ago, and nothing was extra except the drinks we didn't buy, and 1 photo we did buy. The Wifi was not free but they've since changed this... so I give this a pass.
Disney far and beyond. What the staff do to make sure you’re satisfied is beyond any other
Definitely RC, Better everything.
Im surprised disney stilll didnt put some fair rides in their cruise ships
I would say disney because of the overal experience and a fun trip for all ages
I went on both and a hard decision but royal Caribbean
That is a hard decision because it comes to the tally. I guess I mean depends on what you like any preferences are anyway.
Royale Caribbean but I am at the Royale Caribbean now
I’ve been on both, I’d like to say I preferred Disney cruise :3
Can you bring your own alcohol onto the ship with Royal Caribbean?
On Disney you could bring 2 bottles of your own alcohol in your luggage as long as you keep it in your room. My friends told me they couldn't do that on other cruise lines they went on.
Disney!
I’ve only been on royal Caribbean but Disney seems fun ima tell you about my trip!
So I was on the cruse for 4 nights and 5 days. I think all the 4 nights I’ve been to the dinners. The dinners are SO AMAZING they are so fancy they are the prettiest thing I saw and on the 3rd day we did like a party thing that we swing our napkins in the air!😊 They also have a kids club you can go to and idk abt that because we have about 2 minutes of free time and the rest of the time you play with the games they do. But it is overall fun and my parents usually drop me off after the fancy dinner. (I’m a teen now chill) but then when I got to Mexico we went to places with a tour guide then for the main thing we snorkeled in the PRETTIEST water ever.
Overall fun trip!
im not trying to start anything but royal carribbean is cheaper but is bigger and offers more things to do
So I haven’t been on royal I’m sailing with them in 2 days though. From what I’ve gathered it seems like royal knows what they are doing and it’s working. I love the older Disney ships as they are so elegant. They also used to have so many different activities and such going on. My most recent Disney cruise was the wish in August and not only is that ship not even worth its weight in scrap metal it seemed the only activities where three versions of trivia and the family game show at possibly the worst time of night I’ve ever seen it
I think both is good I mean the two companies are my favorite
I went on royal Caribbean a few days ago and since I’m a kid, our guy for the room made me an elephant and a bunny out of towels ❤
I’d like to get one of those 400 a night Disney cruise rooms please
