Ike was new at the time and very nervous at his first karaoke stream. He even freaked out right after this when he realized over 20k people were watching live. But it's such an iconic moment for a couple reasons:
1. It was the first time Ike had ever revealed he could do metal screams. The clip went pretty viral and there's one with over 640k views on UA-cam by WozzarellaClips.
2. This song Aspirin is an old one made by one of his favorite Vocaloid producers MuryokuP who had long since retired from the scene. MuryokuP was inspired to come back and make more songs after he heard Ike sing this. One of those new songs was "Isolation" which Ike covered in his next karaoke (you should definitely listen to that since he also does some crazy vocal stuff there). This eventually results in MuryokuP writing a song for Ike called MAZE which you have already listened to.
That's really sweet to hear! I'll be sure to check out Ike's isolation karaoke, and I'm excited to hear more from both Ike and MuryokuP!
this was ike's first karaoke stream, there were A LOT of poeple watching, and this song was the first time he ever did the metal screams but even with all of that he did very well!!
No matter how often I see it the < Ike does the scream (that no one knew he could do) and then giggles after seeing chat's reaction > part is just great lmao
Also, people probably told you under the Maze video (I am probably one of those people) but this is the cover that brought MuryokuP back from hiatus ^^

Your Ike reactions are my fav. I didn't watch this live but I've heard/seen people's reactions to his screams from clips and comments. He didn't tell anyone he was doing the screams so even fellow Niji EN members were shocked.
You mentioned wanting to tune into Ikey's karaokes. Well he is doing one this Sunday the 30th, 9am est. It's unarchived so there's probably going to be a lot of english songs he'll sing. I'm so excited for it🤩

ty for the reaction !! yh this was ikes first karaoke lol he was so nervous he could barely breathe lmao but in his 700k one you can see he’s a lot more calm and confident ! i recommend checking out leia (imo the most insane one bc someone said he sang in almost 3 octaves) and isolation (he does these insane rap to high note to scream transitions)

So happy for this reaction! This karaoke stream reached million views now and this Aspirin karaoke moment made MuryokuP came back from a long hiatus. I think not long after this, Ike had talks with MuryokuP for an original song which is Maze 'coz Ike did say Maze has been in the works for loooong time now. I don't know if I remember it correctly but since March 2022? Correct me if I'm wrong, guys.

If you want a bit of a newer version of him singing there is another karaoke that he did a couple months back. I recommend listening to him sing “Cry”
