The roll top closure allows you to compress the items inside for maximum space savings. We've even included seam tape to make your bag virtually waterproof when fully closed.

Had the same problem getting the backing off the seal tape. Ended up using an exacto knife to get the backing off by sticking the tip near the end and lifting. I also take the end of my machine off exposing the cuff/pant leg end and leaving the bag wrong side out to sew the stiffening webbing on. Makes it easier to just rotate the bag around the machine. Great video and thanks for all the great info you pass on.
Great tips Dave. I did film me trying to get the tape apart but it added a few hours and lots of colorful language. I will try out your tips for sure
Very informative! Looks like a great project. Thanks for sharing and have a blessed one
Great video!
Thanks Logan. Super fun projects for sure.
Where do you get the double sided Dyneema- fusing tape? And what is it called?
Did u get the dcf tape that you used from ripstipbytheroll?
Where did you get the 1/4 inch double sided adhesive tape that you used before sewing the side seam. You mentioned it was "cuben fiber" tape. Is it specific for cuben fiber and is this the same as the Transfer Tape you used in your bear bag video, just a different width. Your Amazon store is not active.
Great videos. Thank you!
HI Nancy. I am guessing it all the same. Now it is called dyneema tape. Not sure where I got the 1/4 inch stuff though. I may have got it from Sailrite. Thanks for trying the store. I think Amazon doesn't think I make enough traffic for them.
@@naturecallsoutdoors thank you!
Easy to follow, What is that thread you are using. Looks crazy heavy, I love it
I think it is the Mara 70. I think I have gone to a slightly bigger needle though. My eyes are failing.
how do I make 100% waterproof seams for aeroponics applications for its rooting chamber?
With the double sided tape and additional tape over that do you think the sewing is even necessary? I just bought a few of these kits hopefully it goes well!
I have read a lot and the tape sew seems to be the way the tent guys are doing it, but once the tape has a chance to bond it is really strong. If you are going to go no sew, use something to really press the tape bond then let it bond for a couple days and you should be good.
@@naturecallsoutdoors Thanks! When letting it bond for a few days, I assume you mean at room temperature, not at 275degF? Also while bonding for a few days, does it have to be in a pressed compression s, or just sitting with no stress?
Where did you get this colors of dyneema?
I get this from ripstopbytheroll.com
