Just got my pc working again and will be giving this a good play through. Hands down the best C&C in my opinion. Awesome speed run dude, rewatching your entire series again 😄
vs laser-wow, all those helixes and a *single* one got through all those defenses. It really shows just how important it is to crack his defenses if you want to get through them without taking extreme losses. Those tank hunters in that one helix that got through must have been having the time of their lives though, getting to single-handedly wreck and entire base
It was an extreme lucky moment. If that helix would have got though the speedrun would have been over
@@cncHD Wouldn't it make more sense to conduct a faint attack from a different direction so that Townes hadn't switched the lasers to the main helix approach vector?
@@cncHD You can lock the laser powering by throwing artillery at one of his laser walls, and then running your helixes in from a different approach. Works every time.

True. This is another attempt, but without commentary. I tried new tactics and wanted to see if I can be faster
if you didnt or did know. if you train a red gaurd, then click on the icon just as it finishes, you get one red gaurd and you get your money back from the red gaurd.
This is one of the more annoying ones for me because the tanks are so slow until you get the nuke upgrade. IMO the boss general is probably tougher to beat with the tank general than anyone else. Well played as always!

I thought about beating the nuke general with just aircraft but the aircraft of china is way too expensive for that. Also tank vs Laser was super risky. could have failed so easiely

@@klausove7787 Considering he does use the normal attack to clear buildings, I think it was because dragon tanks can't normally shoot up the hill so trying to use the normal attack would've either made it drive up and just sit there to die, or try to go up and around the hill to be killed on the way, the firewall on the otherhand didn't have that targetting issue
You did this challenge faster than the Air Force general! Would you say it is easier in general to play as tank gen or does the speed run come down to rng?

This feels like a silly question, but why do you not grab tank veterancy commander upgrade?
I usually don’t bother either. I usually go full upgrade on artillery, carpet bomb, and battle master drop
The battlemasters get destroyed too quickly hence the reason why I skip the tank promotion upgrade and building heavier tanks like the emperor instead

Sadly this does not work as the emperor tanks will not get any boost through the subliminal messaging upgrade
1:25:28 have tried this strategy with helix's like 5 times and i can never squeeze one through. Even when i build some with speaker towers, get speaker tower bonus, and get gattling bonus. Any ideas anyone? is there a micromanagement wiggle or something? or something im missing? @cnchd

This is incredible marathon cncHD ! With the Laser General this was calculated risk or just got lucky only one of the Helixes to survive and finish the game ?
I cant remember any more but I think I got extremely lucky there

I tend to think that this map, level designer has set the Nuclear Superweapon to 12 min. as same as that of the enemy which start at 11:59

Nice strats, but why do you get rid of the command center at the start of the boss fight? I've seen it before and not sure about the reason.
I need the extra 1k cash in the beginning + I dont need the command center in the beginning due to not having the general promotions right away . Also if you keep the command center the rocket buggies might attack it from the cliff which is annoying
@@cncHD Ok, I'm not confident enough to play on the harder levels (casual player) so I don't have that kind of problems but keep up the good work.
@@cncHD You could try getting a single helix with tank hunters. Clears everything except the bunkers, gattlings and avengers.

Yes. You can tell by looking at her Superweapon timers, which are very short. On Normal mode they are like 30 minutes or 1 hour or so. On hard it´s only around 12 Minutes
at bridge part when defending you can use nuke launcher and set to neutron shells its best to have two and just have them ctrl fire on the bridge there will be a block up and a lot of units to take good game man.oh wait maybe you dont have it as tank i think you do as general promotion

Yep, tank does not have bunkers
That's the difference between vanilla China Overlords and China Tank's Emperors. Overlords can have upgrade to exactly one of: bunker, speaker tower and Gatling cannon. Emperors come already with a speaker tower, and can upgrade to a Gatling cannon too. They can't ever have bunkers.
