People try to put too much theology in the signs at the baptism of Jesus, but according to John the Baptist, quoted above, the signs were to simply show John who the Messiah was. Nothing more, nothing less.
Only Adam made perfect and JESUS perfect. Needed JESUS to save us from Adam’s sin. The fall. No comparison to anyone else. Was He not EMMANUEL.

How do apostolics take communion?
In a small thimble like plastic cup and unleavened bread, there has been a divide over wine and grape juice. He really it is in a special service, with prayer and repentance before hand, sometimes foot washing ahead to humble oneself, my first communion 1 month after being saved on a watch nite New Year's eve service and I get the guy with a wooden leg and foot. Not did everyone have a laugh about that, I was just saved and I get only 1 foot instead of 2 to wash.
We do it in rembrance and don't believe the wine and bread is literally changed as we are not cannibals and the Lord isn't re- sacrificed, he is present Spiritually and it is a memorial.
Women generally go off to a different room or men do and the larger group in the main sanctuary ( at least when taking it at different churches. )

I just disagree that Peter was being influenced by satan. IMO, it was Peter acting out of his own humanity.

THERE IS A DISTINCTION between God and Jesus Christ.
John 14:28 God is greater than Jesus.
“Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.”
@@wjdyr6261The idea of Trinitarians, Arians, Socinians, Christedelphians, Unitarians ( who deny Jesus Deity) all have a problem thinking God the Father is a being like a man and another person versus invisible Spirit, so they start off with errant thinking of The Man Christ the Son of God /Man and another they see in similar human like form.
God is Spirit, God is invisible, Jesus is the express image of his person

SCRIPTURALLY Jesus is the SON of God--whom God sent to be the sacrifice for sin!! Jesus wasn't God.
Not to argue but thats not scripturally possible. There is only one God and one Lord. There are 50 references of the Holyone of Israel in the Bible.
We cant suddenly change him to Holy Three. That did not come from the bible. That came from the Catholics.
Deut 6:4 hear oh Israel the Lord our God is one Lord.
Eph 4:5 One Lord ,one faith ,one baptism
Isaiah 9:6 literally calls him the Mighty God and the everlasting Father
In these last days we need to remove ourselves from traditions and doctrines of men and return to the doctrines and traditions of God.
Love oneness theology but I believe you have 1P3:19 wrong.
Dead is dead! There’s no preaching to the dead.
That’s what trinitarians believe.

Jesus was made alive in the Spirt “IN WHICH He (Jesus) went and preached to the dead souls of the generation of Noah! The dead souls where the souls that rejected the Word of the Spirit/God through Noah! How was it Jesus and not preincarnate second divine person? He is God the same Spirit!

If Jesus went and preached to real dead people why stop at Noah’s generation?
Why not go all the way back to Adam & Eve?

That word for preach there is “kerusso” and means “to preach” but can also mean “to herald, or to notify”.
This is different from the word “euaggelizo” which means to evangelize or to bring the gospel.
I’m not saying this is 100% what happened (no one knows for certain), but the idea is that Jesus “proclaimed, heralded or notified” his victory to those angels bound from the original rebellion. He let them know that he had redeemed mankind. Afterwards, when we are buried with him by baptism into death, we also proclaim our victory over death to that spirit world by our allegiance to Jesus.

And at Jesus death, he commended his human spirit to God!
