Cruces de Mayo Cordoba 2023!

What to see whilst in Cordoba in early May?
Cruces de Mayo is the second of three Fiestas in Cordoba at the beginning of May.
Huge crosses with flowers and plants stand tall in plazas and courtyards throughout the city. Bars are set up serving tapas and drinks for both residents and tourists. Stages for dancing and other shows are performed all to celebrate the coming of Spring.
The video also features Miguel Chércoles, a fantastic guitarist and composer playing his own music.

El segundo de tres festivales en Córdoba en mayo.
Grandes cruces con flores, plantas en macetas y mantones de manila decoran patios y plazas. Juntas de vecinos y peñas locales instalan bares que sirven tapas y bebidas tradicionales junto a los grandes cruces.
Todos disfrutan de la música y el baile celebrando la llegada de la primavera.
