@@MinifigJezhi where can I find the tutorial on the classic spaceman display please? I love to build it, I've got the set and all of the spaceman minifigures, cool video
@@Daniel-w9k6r To change teh original set for space men, you should watch this video: ua-cam.com/video/Kdux13D9Rxo/v-deo.html And then when you get the Dark Blue one, the video that you just watched will help you extend it forth 12th spaceman. I hope that helps
So excited for the dark blue but heartbroken that the second we get the proper helmet and air tanks for the existing spacemen, we get another incomplete one

@@MinifigJez YAY, but do you think you could put them right in front of the adult of its corresponding color? That will make it so that new viewers (such as me) have an even better time watching the videos. (If that is even possible)
The dark blue motorcycle helmet is super close, to the point where a casual Lego fan might not notice - While the "City Space" one would have stuck out too much. You made the right call
@@Serial_Designation_Cryo Yes, I know Clay had it first, but if you want to get one today, the only sets you can buy it in are the City sets. (I didn't say it WAS a LEGO City helmet, at 6:35 I just said its the helmet that they use in the space sets)
"...and later on in 2036 we will be getting a spaceman in Light Taupe with an Aqua-Marine stripe, but we aren't getting air tanks in that colour until 2045"
@@landsgevaer Ahhh.... but we never find out if they are super-intelligent compared to other species, or only by comparison to other shades of blue! (thanks for the superb HGTTG comment)
Tremendous! So satisfying to see this. Each new classic spaceman color is so weirdly intoxicating. Awesome to see yet another color added and thank you, Jez, for showing us the smartest way to add parts to the display base. 👍🏼
Just wanted to mention that I noticed the different color green months ago, but felt it didn't matter all that much, and it would have been slightly impolite to say something. However, I must say that I'm glad you took the time to place the regular green tiles in first, and put the astronaut back - and then add in the dark blue, and complete the display. These things may seem unimportant to some people, but I appreciate that each astronaut gets his or her own moment. This is a special phenomenon, a huge corporation like Lego listening to the fans, and producing results. I don't want to (let's not) jinx it!
Thanks for the comment, it properly made me smile! I noticed the green as soon as I'd made it, way back in Feb 2023, but didn't want to swap the green over until I did a significant update. Thank you for your politeness not mentioning it, if you read some of the comments on the original, the rest of UA-cam wasn't as polite as you were !!!!!
@@MinifigJezYou should consider the width (or depth) of the display. Since in each next roll the astronaut is one stud behind the previous one. If one stud is 8mm. And you will have 3 studs as the back wall, one extra stud space before the wall because of the oxygen tanks and one in the front. The depth will be 8x200+8x5=1640mm->1.64m.
Given how LEGO is clearly intentionally giving us the pieces to build new spaceman colours every year now, I’m sure it will only be a short amount of time before you can give him the proper helmet and oxygen tank
Yes, I think the same. Maybe we will get a new CMF in the January series with them? At least we know that the NEXT classic spaceman is going to be a COMPLETE one, and not one put together from pieces. It's going to been of these 5 colours: ua-cam.com/video/JZAZRwubeH0/v-deo.html
As long as Lego make him in a colour that I can get that curved brick in too ! - we will just have to wait and se what colour we get from the Fan Vote !
It might be a bit morbid, but I would have not used either mismatched color air tank or incorrect style helmet, but left the character without and looked for an alternate head that reflects what would happen to a person without a helmet in the vacuum of space. Only when Lego releases a helmet and tank in the dark blue would the figure’s head be swapped back to a happy generic piece.
We can only imagine how long the display will be in 10 years. Also, thank you for switching the green. I could've made this display - and I have before - but my OCD wouldn't let me do it with the wrong green, so seeing you do it is just satisfying!
I truly love classic space and when in dreamzzz Dr Oz had a classic space shirt I really wanted Lego to make it and it being and new colour is just super
Hi Jez, great video. I was wondering whether you could make some instructions on how to build the display step by step as its now much more complex than then everyone is awesome. Thanks,
It'll take me a while, but until I can... 1st... get the original instructions from here: www.lego.com/cdn/product-assets/product.bi.core.pdf/6379860.pdf And the if then you re-watch the video from 2:32 I go thru all teh steps on what I;ve done to extend the whole thing for an extra spaceman. I hope that helps for now.
I know the hassle, i've previously wanted to add another row on the bricklink studio app, and it is not that easy. i imagine it's even harder with actual pieces. (also those 2 purple 1x2s next to each other are annoying, why didnt you replace them with a 2x2 4:16)
I left them as two 1x2 purpose tikes, because they are all in a 2x2 grid. So all along the back there are 1x2's with a join infant of them. If I hanged the Purple row for a 2x2, there would no longer be a join line in the purple row where every other row has a join, and I thought it looked more out of place that way.
@@nazminabanihashemi2846 Yes, I understand what you mean, and if I extended the display more, the pattern would KEEP that 1x2 purple tile behind the 1x2 purple plate, but then add a 2x2 tile behind it. So what you have to think is that I have followed the existing pattern, added a row of 2x2 tiles behind the original display, but then cut them all in half with the wall. So having two 1x2 tiles actually DOES follow the original pattern !
6:50 Hey man. I have been thinking about this but... How about you go for a unofficial Lego Piece of the Airtank piece in Dark Blue. Like I did found one at my local school. And it is unofficial so... Why not used a unofficial Lego piece colour?
Do you think of Storys/Storylines for the Classic Spaceman/Lego Minifigures (In your head)? Of the Spaceman watch do you think is the button pusher (thay see a button & pushs it)
I must admit, when I was a kid my classic spacemen went on EPIC adventures and I thought up MANY stories, but nowadays, not so much! Which one do you think would be the one to see a big red button and just HAVE to push it?
YES! This video makes me so happy. It has massive, flawless production value and i am a huge fan of Classic Space Lego from when I was wee. Minifig Jez is a great channel and creator! Now Lego: Are you paying attention? We adult fans have enough disposable income to make Classic Space figs profitable for a generation longer! Please get us the dark blue tanks and helmet tout de suite! Takk ❤🇩🇰🤓
I love the classic spacemen so I'm very happy we are getting another colour. I might be a bit contrary here but I don't know if it was worth the effort of extending the display. Even though I have mine done in the same way at the moment I'm kind of tired of the everybodies awesome display and might try to come up with some new display option. As for the helmet and tank I do have a feeling that they will show up in the dark blue in some random city or new year set in the next few months so I'm just going to wait and see for a while.
I still love the effort of extending the display! If it was just the original "Everyone is Awesome" display, I wouldn't be bothered with it, but I'm loving that it's now Every Spaceman is Awesome ! I'm wondering the helmet and air tanks will show up in a New Year set, like the purple ones?
Love the dark blue! Hoping to pick a torso up myself soon. now we just need the classic space helmet & airtanks in dark blue. I suspect we’ll either have to wait for a CMF figure with them or just have the helmet & airtanks on a figure like they did with the purple.
I imagine they will give us Dark blue in a set. Either the ones you suggested, or it could even be something like a CMF, maybe teh January series?... Who knows? but it's gonna be fun finding out.
Nice! I did my spacemen in release order, so dark blue will be going on the end of my 'Every Spaceman is Awesome' - but will definitely copy your technique. Sigh, now the wait for no.13 in the minifigure prize machine set starts (also the wait for dark blue air-tanks and a classic helmet)
Chronological order is a cool idea. My Art College days forces my mind to only see it in colour order though, so that's what I went with!! We've got quite a wait for the next one, it's not due out until at least next year - We'll just have wait and see what colour it is..
How much are the light gray helmets and the dark blue helmets, why didn’t you move the other display plates the minfigures stand on up one 1x2 tile instead you added a tile at the back of each one, also you should take some white bricks and add them to the bottom to make the display a bit taller and better looking I’m trying to make my own display I just need the dark blue space man I added white bricks to make the display taller it looks way better in my opinion,( you probably won’t see this but have a good day nonetheless)
I'll try to answer all your points... 1) Light grey helmets can be expensive, it depends where you live. Here's a link to their page: www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=193a2&idColor=9#T=C&C=9 2) Dark Blue motorcycle helmets are here: www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=2446&idColor=63#T=C&C=63 3) I added a tile at the back, as it was teh most sensible place, if I'd moved them all forward, there would no longer be a space in front of the first figure, which wouldn't look good. 4) I don't want to add white bricks underneath it, as that's not what the original set looks like, and I don't want it on a tall plinth, I think two white plates underneath looks fine - I wanted it to a MOD of the set not a whole new creation.. 5) I ALWAYS see EVERY comment, and always reply to them all. 6) THNAKS! I will have a good day.
That's a great idea. - So as well as Classic Space, what other figs does that include? M-Tron? Blacktron? Futuron? Ice Planet? Space Police? There's quite a few brick-built minifigure display stands out there, which people have designed and made. You should check out Rebrickable or youTube for some inspiration and get building!
@@AndyWeil-n2j Classics! The zipper ones are "Futuron" you can see them all here: brickset.com/minifigs?query=futuron Have fun building your display. and let me know how it turns out.
can you change it so that the front bottom plate's white color is not white all across the front but same color as the lines are? would look maybe better. or even add a curve on the front.
It's based on the set that Lego made called Everyone is Awesome. You can see it here: ua-cam.com/video/Kdux13D9Rxos/v-deo.htmlub_confirmation=1 That's why it looks the way that it is. The white underneath, holds all the coloured stripes together, otherwise the display stand would fall apart. But I will have a think about how I could modify it, so no white shows underneath.
Already got it! I bought that set back in February 2020. But it's just a regular blue space helmet, which I already have in this display, so I don't need another one, it can stay in my Gamer's Market.
Couldnt you swap out the large plates for smaller rows of plates so that next time you can just add the row. You can even connect the bricks with technic bricks and pins
Asked it on before, but will ask here : When / Where did the Green classic helmet come out ? Was it or is it on Pick a Brick? Or is it in a set ? If LEGO would just come out with a CLASSIC SPACE MINI FIG COLOR SERIES with accessories - ALL of our complicated lives would be sOOoOoO much easier !

If it's just the logo that's damaged. if it looks like this: www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=973pb1652c01 Then it's meant to look like this. if it's damaged in any other way... it's actually damaged ! I hope that helps.
Unfortunately LEGO® doesn't seem to hurry with dark blue elements. I've been waiting for a dark blue double jumper plate for ages now, but with no luck, even though it's a pretty basic part. It even exists in weird colors colors like bright pink, dark turquoise or medium blue.
I blame Lego Friends, we get parts in VERY unusual colours due to building techniques used in some Lego Friends sets !!! The Orient Express helped a lot with Dark Blue pieces, but alas, not a double jumper plate ! (Do you mean the 2x4 jumper?)
They only leave when they sell out. SO it will completely depend on how popular they have been at YOUR specific store. I bought 4 of them, but I have heard of people buying LOTS. I can only suggest that you go and see if they have any, and if you can't find. any, ask a staff member if they have any in their store room
Every time Lego make a new coloured spaceman (like the new one coming out next year: ua-cam.com/video/JZAZRwubeH0/v-deo.html) or they make a new coloured Space Baby, I will add it to my displays and make a new video for everyone to see, so stay tuned!

Thanks for letting me know, I hadn't heard that. - We can keep our fingers crossed. But, Lego sometimes tease us and do Classic space "tributes", like this: brickset.com/minifigs/idea105/cosmic-cardboard-adventurer-918-classic-space-torso-dark-tan-motorcycle-helmet from the "Cosmic Cardboard Adventures" set - We'll have to wait and see how generous they are feeling !!!
I don't know if you're a Red Vs. Blue fan, but this is almost a spaceman for every main character in that show, since each of them wear different colored armor. White - Meta Gray - Washington Black - Tex Brown - Lopez Red - Sarge Orange - Grif Yellow - Sister Green - Genkins Blue - Church Dark Blue - Caboose Purple - Doc Pi- I mean, Lightish Red - Donut Technically Washington is dark gray with yellow accents, and Caboose is regular blue while Church is light blue, but other than that, you're only missing two characters: Simmons (Dark Red) and Tucker (Cyan? Aqua? Lightish Turquoise? Something like that).
Thanks for the comment. I had no idea what RvB was until you commented. So I googled it, and I see what you mean. Although, if anyone was making a set of RvB minifigures, I think that Lego make helmets which are much more similar to those ones!!! - Thanks again for commenting.

agree on your helmet choice, but the obvious answer is to get another set of spacemen with the other helmet option and have two displays. I picked up a few torsos of this myself, along with the Halloween minifigs, which I loved the witch, but wish we got another "costume" like the tree person last year. Here I am wishing the other classic theme, castle, got as much love,

But who knows when anything else castle will be seen again! (I love that tree disguise piece too! - Thanks for commenting.
I don't know, I guess someone needs to add it. There are a lot for sale on eBay, but sometimes it takes an annoying amount of time for parts to be added to Bricklink.
Definitely prefer the motorcycle helmet and black air tanks compared to the City Space helmet and gun metal airtanks. When I saw your first minifig box with only one dark blue space torso, I about had a heart attack. Luckily you showed off the other 3 minifigures before the heart attack set in 😉. If I lived near a LEGO store I’d probably get some of these torsos, so I’m kind of glad I don’t because I don’t want to have to try and build up another astronaut from parts again. Congrats on finishing your as best as you could. 🎉

I'm confused by your question. The light grey spaceman has been in the display since February 2023. you can see him 2nd from the left, between teh white and the black spaceman. You can see him being added my original video: ua-cam.com/video/Kdux13D9Rxo/v-deo.html
That's really nice of you to say, but if I did put it ideas, and even if it did get 10,000 votes, there's no way that Lego would EVER approve it for sale. but... we can dream. :)
Member 10 of the classic space fan club here, im surprised that there’s a new one I don’t remember if you covered this, but like, what about the minifig gumball machine? Which spaceman color do you want for that?
You know, that “City Space” helmet actually originates from the Nexo Knights theme. It was Clay’s helmet. Also, personally, while the motorcycle helmet may fit with the others better, I think the Nexo Knights helmet just looks cooler. Gives an extra edge to the dark blue guy you don’t typically see in other classic space figs.
Yes, I have several of those Clay minifigs, and it was also in another Clay figure in an AWESOME sand blue colour (as well as used in green for Aaron) It was also used in Dark Blue recently in the City deep sea explorers sets.
Cool display, but I think if I was going to build it I would put them in order of the colors as they came out. Like red, white, yellow, and so on. Keep up the cool videos 😁👍
No. Lego don't make the classic space torso in cyan. BUT... the next colour that Lego are going to release will be one of these 5 colours: ua-cam.com/video/JZAZRwubeH0/v-deo.html So I might be able to make a cyan one next year, if that's the colour that got the most votes!

Nice update ! Happy to see them all together ! I'm so jealous, i really hope i will be able to get this torso soon. :) You're right, motorcycle helmet is better than modern space helmet. But like the curved brick, it's a matter of budget, if you don't already have it, no need to pay to much for the helmet while waiting to the Lego Group to produce the right part. (it's purple helmet's story all over again !) So you choosed to add more depth to the display ? Do you think you will stay long with this format with the future(s) spacemen ? Even if an unbroken straight line of minifig is beautiful, each new line will add a new row, stacking quickly ! For my monochrome display (with the same minimalist display), i keep the same 16 stud depth and choose to make a zigazag pattern : i keep a minifig on the middle to be on front, and make two lines behind him, one on the left, one on the right.
I see how that would look good in a "V" formation. at the moment, I still like teh original diagonal line, so I'll keep it like that, but if TOO many more get added, I might have to do teh same as you!

i think a cooler order for the colors would be brown (because its kind of a shade of red) red, orange, yellow, green, blue, dark blue, purple, white (because its going back to being bright), grey, and then black.
Colours should always loop back round, (I learnt that with Colour wheels at Art College!!) What you've done is move the white/grey/black to the other end - So it's effectively the same order as each other. You've gone from the bright pink, to the white (because it's bright) and then got darker to the black. I've gone from the dark brown, to the black (because it's dark) and then got brighter to the white! The only one I don't agree with you is the dark blue... The Purple is a darker shade than the Green, so I think the Dark Blue looks better next to the darker Purple instead of the lighter Green! I hope that helps you understand the reasons for the order that I put them in! Thanks for commenting.

I don’t think they’ve all come out as gay, but I must admit, I haven’t spoken to all of them personally!!! On the building aspect, I go by the rule, if it doesn’t get seen, use any bits you have to hand!! While I think the motorcycle helmet looks best for your display, I cannot justify the price to get one personally. $20 for the minifigure or $8 for the helmet alone in the States. I do prefer the new city helmets (old Nexo Knight Helmets) look for the figures overall. Nice work on the display update. You made some massive modifications. I do need to update my rainbow display. I need to add this one and the pink and white space babies to mine. With the new one in the gumball machine next year, i heard rumors that they have selected the color but which one has not been leaked. Only 2 of the 5 have that arch piece you need. The green helmet took 9 years to come out with the correct helmet, the purple took 2 years for the helmet and air tanks. Maybe we will luck out with only one year for the dark blue ones. I think the challenge is that Lego includes them in sets so which theme would it fit best in. Maybe they would put the dark blue one in a city divers set. Then they could include a couple of them in one set. That way it could be put on Bricks and Pieces and I can get the dozens I need for my spaceman army.
Yes, I did wonder what I'm going to do if the Gumball machine spaceman isn't one of teh colours that the Brick arch is made in! I also can't believe how much the Jayko minifigure and his helmet have rocketed up in price since I made my last video about it only 9 days ago !

Tremendous! So satisfying to see this. Each new classic spaceman color is so weirdly intoxicating. Awesome to see yet another color added and thank you, Jez, for showing us the smartest way to add parts to the display base. 👍🏼
Glad you liked it, and glad that my tips on the structure helped too
Just wanted to mention that I noticed the different color green months ago, but felt it didn't matter all that much, and it would have been slightly impolite to say something.
I swear in like 10 years there’s going to be a spaceman for every color that Lego has
...and how long will my display be then !!!!!!!
@@MinifigJez well considering you have 12 so far and LEGO has about 200 colors I would say that it would be quite long
@@redrex6642 Well... 2 studs wide for each colour (which is 16mm) x 200 colours, is 3.2 metres (ten and a half feet!)
@@MinifigJezlonger than the Great Wall of china
@@MinifigJezYou should consider the width (or depth) of the display. Since in each next roll the astronaut is one stud behind the previous one.
If one stud is 8mm. And you will have 3 studs as the back wall, one extra stud space before the wall because of the oxygen tanks and one in the front.
The depth will be 8x200+8x5=1640mm->1.64m.

I hope that helps for now.
@@MinifigJez thank you very much, I will take a look.
@@MinifigJezwell this actually follows a patern, and it never has two 1x2s next to each other
@@nazminabanihashemi2846 Yes, I understand what you mean, and if I extended the display more, the pattern would KEEP that 1x2 purple tile behind the 1x2 purple plate, but then add a 2x2 tile behind it.

I must admit, when I was a kid my classic spacemen went on EPIC adventures and I thought up MANY stories, but nowadays, not so much!

Now Lego: Are you paying attention? We adult fans have enough disposable income to make Classic Space figs profitable for a generation longer! Please get us the dark blue tanks and helmet tout de suite! Takk ❤🇩🇰🤓
Thank you so much, that's really kind of you to say so.
And Lego... I agree with @johnnations5932 !
Try an M.C. Escher Classic Space building maybe?
I still love the effort of extending the display! If it was just the original "Everyone is Awesome" display, I wouldn't be bothered with it, but I'm loving that it's now Every Spaceman is Awesome !
I'm wondering the helmet and air tanks will show up in a New Year set, like the purple ones?
@johnnations5932 I love the M.C. Escher idea !
Love the dark blue! Hoping to pick a torso up myself soon. now we just need the classic space helmet & airtanks in dark blue. I suspect we’ll either have to wait for a CMF figure with them or just have the helmet & airtanks on a figure like they did with the purple.
Yes, if we wait 6 months or a year, I;m sure Lego will release them in a set or CMF - Maybe January 1st series... who knows!
So you think we'll get the Dark Blue helmet and tanks in the next big LNY or Monkee Kid set, or do you think we'll get light gray instead?
Here's a link to their page:
www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=193a2&idColor=9#T=C&C=9
2) Dark Blue motorcycle helmets are here:
www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=2446&idColor=63#T=C&C=63
3) I added a tile at the back, as it was teh most sensible place, if I'd moved them all forward, there would no longer be a space in front of the first figure, which wouldn't look good.
Motorcycle helmet everytime. Thanks Jez

Hi #10 ! - you can find out my views on the spaceman colour vote here: ua-cam.com/video/JZAZRwubeH0/v-deo.html
(although the vote is over)
You know, that “City Space” helmet actually originates from the Nexo Knights theme. It was Clay’s helmet.
Also, personally, while the motorcycle helmet may fit with the others better, I think the Nexo Knights helmet just looks cooler. Gives an extra edge to the dark blue guy you don’t typically see in other classic space figs.
Yes, I have several of those Clay minifigs, and it was also in another Clay figure in an AWESOME sand blue colour (as well as used in green for Aaron)
It was also used in Dark Blue recently in the City deep sea explorers sets.
Cool display, but I think if I was going to build it I would put them in order of the colors as they came out. Like red, white, yellow, and so on. Keep up the cool videos 😁👍
Yes, that's one option, but after studying at Art college, I can only see them in the order of a colour palette !!!
This classic Lego spaceman collection never ends. They keep adding new ones oof and more costs.
YES... I want it to never end, until Lego have given us a classic spaceman in every colour that make... I love it !
It looks amazing! Next, can you make Cyan?
No. Lego don't make the classic space torso in cyan.
BUT... the next colour that Lego are going to release will be one of these 5 colours: ua-cam.com/video/JZAZRwubeH0/v-deo.html
So I might be able to make a cyan one next year, if that's the colour that got the most votes!
@@MinifigJez Thanks for explaining!
@@OculusLime You're welcome
Cool video. Thanks for sharing. Not too sure about the mixed colours though.
Glad you like the video, but what do you mean about the mixed colours?
@@MinifigJez The black/grey tanks with the dark blue CS suit. I'm hoping that LEGO eventually releases dark blue tanks and CS helmet parts. I'll hold back on adding a dark blue CS astronaut to my display collection until then.
@@drzander3378 Oh I see, as it's only the tanks and they can't really be seen from the front, I;m happy to keep him in my display for now !

Lime green space man?
maybe... the colour that Lego give us will be one of these five: ua-cam.com/video/8aPAGD0VkpM/v-deo.html
I can't access the link
I need to order the parts to adjust my display. I wanted to add my Space Babies in front of their respective colours but finding the jumper plates are proving difficult
I've made a separate display for my space babies, and only needed jumper plates for white, blu and pink and found them quite easily. You can see the video here if it helps: ua-cam.com/video/5OmAe2wYoro/v-deo.html
@@MinifigJez I watched that one but I think I’d prefer to add mine to the main one. Being new to lego colours I get confused on shades between Lego colours and Bricklink colours, and obviously don’t want to be buying the wrong colours etc.
@@Arcane2080x Brickset has a really helpful page. just choose the colour "family" which you want to look at, and it will show you an example of teh parts in that colour, and shows the Bricklink vs the Lego name:
brickset.com/colours/family-Blue
@@MinifigJez oooo thank you, I shall check it out! Also glad none of us cleared out the torso’s at the Lego store I also went Monday 🤣
@@Arcane2080x Yes, I got a few, for what I need, but not LOADS just to sell on eBay !!!!
I have a suggestion, the blue spaceman face is kinda faded and lower down could you change it??
Well it is 40 years old !!!!
Nice update ! Happy to see them all together ! I'm so jealous, i really hope i will be able to get this torso soon. :)
You're right, motorcycle helmet is better than modern space helmet. But like the curved brick, it's a matter of budget, if you don't already have it, no need to pay to much for the helmet while waiting to the Lego Group to produce the right part. (it's purple helmet's story all over again !)
So you choosed to add more depth to the display ?
Do you Put your Classic Spaceman in Ships?
Benny's Spaceship Spaceship SPACESHIP (70816),
Lego Galaxy Explorer (10497),
@@jeffreybrennan166 I have Benny’s spaceship, spaceship, SPACESHIP set, the new Galaxy Explorer set, along with the ORIGINAL 80’s Galaxy Explorer set, as well as a few other classic space sets from the 80’s and they have their own spaceman that came with them. These are all extra spaceman specifically for this display.
I went to a lego store for the build a minifigure parts this weekend, and apparently they had not received the build a minifigure parts yet
hopefully when i can come back next weekend the parts have arrived, but if not, i wont be able to go to a lego store for months :c
Oh, that must have been SO disappointing. I hope you manage to get one next weekend.
I hope to see multiple spaceman from the ideas survey :D I'm missing green, purple everything but the torso, dark blue, grey torso and the way to expensive light grey og helmet :/
oh and I'm going to order the dark bluish grey helmet just in case xD It's not to expensive right now
Yes, I bought a spare dark grey helmet as a "just-in-case" when I bought my purple motorcycle helmet it cost 10p, and a week later they got £15 !!!!!
We know the next colour will be one from the vote, but who knows after that !
Vote video is here in case you didn't see it: ua-cam.com/video/JZAZRwubeH0/v-deo.htmlsub_confirmation=1
@@MinifigJez Yes, that‘s crazy!! Luckily I can order all missing helmets and air-tanks from one person, including the dark bluish grey one, except the light grey helmet
@@dom0_2007 yes, the original light grey one is getting quite rare these days in good condition for a reasonable price. After all it is 46 years old!!!
@@MinifigJez They are almost three times as old as I am. xD I found a good deal, but I'm hoping to find it cheaper somewhere else :D
i think a cooler order for the colors would be brown (because its kind of a shade of red) red, orange, yellow, green, blue, dark blue, purple, white (because its going back to being bright), grey, and then black.
Colours should always loop back round, (I learnt that with Colour wheels at Art College!!)
What you've done is move the white/grey/black to the other end - So it's effectively the same order as each other.
That Looks good. I Hope LEGO will Release dark Blue airtank soon.
I hope so too!
Hopefully the next spaceman will be in Light Green then, since you already have the parts for the base.
I'm not that lucky I'm afraid... the next colour will be one of these five options: ua-cam.com/video/JZAZRwubeH0/v-deo.html
woa.... gay spacemen... so cool :)
i'm very happy we're getting a new spaceman color and it wont cost me a fortune this time around just cuz i missed out on one GWP
also at first i though this vid was gonna be too long but i actually really appreciate you showing how to build the whole base of ur Everyone Is Awesome display cuz it helped me just realize that i dont need to cover every single antistud to have a strong foundation on my display pieces. been working on a Lego House thing lately combining multiple sets and it's been a pain in the ass to get all the pieces I wanted but I never thought of simply Using Less Pieces
I don’t think they’ve all come out as gay, but I must admit, I haven’t spoken to all of them personally!!!
On the building aspect, I go by the rule, if it doesn’t get seen, use any bits you have to hand!! For this one you obviously need solid plates for the top layer, to hold all the tiles, but the layer below just needs the edges and a few extras. I hope your Lego house build goes well.
Thanks for commenting
@@MinifigJez That was genuinely the best way i've seen a content creator go along a lighthearted gay joke :] kudos to you, and i'm happy the spacemen get to be fully trustworthy on you when they're ready :P
@@SawBSketch well, if they can't be their authentic genuine self with me... then who else? You just have to love them through whatever life decisions they make, and I'll be here waiting to listen whenever they feel they need to talk (in between their top secret space missions of course)
Personally, I think the bottom of the wall should also have a curve to it so It matches better with the top part.
That's a GREAT idea, and something that I'll look into. I'm not sure if Lego make the inverted curved slop in ALL those colours though. - I'll go and check out some parts on Bricklink.
Thanks for commenting and giving me the suggestion.
I also can't believe how much the Jayko minifigure and his helmet have rocketed up in price since I made my last video about it only 9 days ago !
sometime soon you should make or hire someone to make a cool moon expedition with all the space men.
What do you mean by a "cool moon expedition" Do you just mean build a moon landscape scene, with these guys in it?
cant you just paint the air tank and the helmet dark blue?
no... didn't you know it's illegal to paint Lego! The Lego Police come and arrest you if you do !
Welp I’m doomed :p
the light gray’s face is ever so slightly off center. Could you fix this next episode?
It may be not something that needs a whole update video on it's own, but I can assure you that his face is now centralised!!
@@MinifigJez yippee!
I wonder if LEGO is contemplating using the Build a Minifigures stand to roll out other classic space related minifigure parts in new colors the way they started releasing new Brick Suit minifig colors at the BAM stand every January. Or is this just a one off Dreamzzz related thing. 🤔
I'm not sure. This one was definitely because of Dreamzzz. But what do you mean by "new Brick Suit minifig colours at the BAM stand every January" ? - Do you mean the 2x3 bricks like the Adidas box minifig? ua-cam.com/users/shortsB7Bh9ikOCOQ

As long as Lego keep giving us new colours…. I really don’t care which colours they are!!!!!!

Can u add lime?
No. Lego don't make spaceman parts in lime - only in these 12 colours
Looks like the fan vote color wont be warm gold. I hope they release the other colors that are out in different sets to make it easier to track them down.

Have you seen some recent news about it? - please let me know where you got your information?
@@MinifigJez i thought i saw it in that link to vote and another color has more votes then the warm gold color.

@@roonis418 Lego do make the tiles in gold, but... the only useful pick they make in that colour is a 2x2, and they don't make the curved brick at teh top in gold either! - In fact that curved brick is only available in teh Magenta and Dark Azure of th e5 potential colours !!!!!
10 days after getting dark blue, my sister got me Benny's Space Squad! Now I'm just missing 5 colors (Black, Gray, Purple, Green, whichever won the poll)

You should have future proofed it with additional space for one more fig. There’s gonna be yet another color coming soon, remember that voting we did for upcoming set (hopefully teal or gold wins).
