I recently subscribed to this channel and am so glad I did based on the content. It is my first farming channel raising chickens. I really enjoyed the packing video, very interesting to see how that works. Tucking videos are good especially when you get to the elevator. Thanks for posting!

How many tons manure do you get a month? I have an organic pasture chicken house. 50x530ft with 45 acres for the chickens 😅

I’d love to see your chicken set up and I also would enjoy the trucking!

I would like to see how the chicken barns work,is there someone packing eggs 24-7,if not how do the eggs get stored when no one is packing, where do you sell the eggs to,contracted? How many eggs a day are produced, life expectancy of a laying chicken, when replacing chickens do you raise your own or buy them when they are old enough to lay eggs, why and enclosed manure storage with fans and not a storage area with a roof an open sides

@@billsauberlich7337So we start packing around 7 when the lights turn on and that’s when the chickens start laying, we pack over half a millions eggs a day. So, 52 pallets with 900 dozen on a pallet I think. So we can load to trailers a day and be fine on storage and we just haul them up to an egg breaker plant and they get broken there!

    That’s a lot of omelettes!!
Lol. Looks like a nice setup at the chicken barn. I would like to see more of the operation. But we don’t want to offend people. I get it. Have a great day.

@@FehrsFarmingOrganic- You know that ALL vegetables are "organic", right ? The genetic make up of all vegetables is the same no matter the farming practices used to produce them . Right ?
I am not pulling your leg or trying to be a smart_ss on you . I am trying to keep things real .
I own and operate a small family fresh produce farm, 225 acres . In my area it is small . Prime horticultural soil in the Chateauguay Valley . Some of our neighbors did try the "organic" ways and most have quit for various reasons .
I have no problem with farmers that laud the "organic" way until they get revenues from selling the ideology and/or do not share the sources of their revenues, yields and other important data relevant to the reality of going "organic" .
See ... Personally I have been head of the family business for the last 42 years . I know the business and cannot be BS-ed easily . I am not saying commercial farming is all good nor am I saying "organic" is a fraud . No ... It is real and surely deserve some attention ... But a lie is a lie no matter what side it is coming from . Right .
So all vegetables are organic and there is NO, NONE, NADA, aucune method to figure out if a fruit or vegetable has been grown "organically" or not . Just so we settle the lying bit . Good day
ps: 100% of our revenues are from the sale of fresh market produce ... No YT, no courses on line, no books, no OnlyFan stuff ;) LOLOL ... Just quality produce on quality soil that we take very very good care of .
Later good people and ... Let me know if we "reach" on a certain level .

      @@niniv2706have you heard of GMOs?

    • @niniv2706
      @niniv2706 6 місяців тому

@@Noah_Fehr- I studied, heard and know about GMOs . So what's your point ? There are many different kinds of GMOs ... It's like you asking "have you heard of genetics" .
So ... Again where do you desire to go with this comment of yours ? You wish to address the dynamics of decay of certain molecules within plant cells ? You want to make a case against acquired resistance through human selection and selective breedings vs laboratory splicing and DNA alterations through genetic R&D . You want to address pesticides, fongicidal agents natural or man made, seeds DNA incorporation vs selective hibridization programs ? There are more GMO processes than there are various medical fields .
So ... Yes I know about GMOs .
I know about vaccines, modern advances in biotech and overall improvement in human health after the farming & industrial revolutions . Old ways, traditional knowledge and nomadic lifestyle of homo sapiens were NOT "the good old days" of humanity . The myth of a holistic return to a LowTech farming being a desirable adaptation for our species is ... Just that , a myth . Human beings live better lives and are healthier because farming evolved and R&D in agriculture is like all other scientific endeavor ... Based on acquired knowledge through experimentation and peer reviews .
Ps : I do not have access in Canada to GMO seeds because our marxist gov. has been polluted by religious zealots that prefer VOTES from poets and bards than peer reviewed science .
I have to produce my crops without the tools most other nations have access to . I have no market protection and have to accept being less profitable in yields and quality . This is a fact .
There are many GMOs ... Most people are engaging the matter have NO idea what they are talking about ... Resharing an internet meme on bees and a dying Earth is a crass display of ignorance .
Anyway ... Why do you ask ? ;) LOL No anger here ... Just ... a good civilized exchange of ideas between farmer friends . I am NOT your enemy . You know that already . Later Noah .
