- Lions rumors today mostly focus on 2024 NFL Free Agency. Stephon Gilmore remains unsigned, so should the Lions try to bring him back to help the CB room? The offensive line remains unsettled as well, so could the Lions target Donovan Smith? Cameron Sutton former Lions CB has been suspended for 8 games:
- Replacing him was smart
- Got ahead of the damage
- Not a distraction for the Lions

Bleacher Report suggested the Lions are not a super bowl team. They dont believe Jared Goff is a good QB. Only the 49ers have better Super Bowl odds in the NFC than a Lions team that on paper is even better now than it was when it won a dozen games and came just a few points short of its first-ever Super Bowl appearance in 2023.
The overall talent level in Detroit probably trumps Buffalo and Cincinnati at this point, but the defense was often still a liability in 2023, it's still tougher to buy into Jared Goff than it is Allen or Burrow, and it's fair to still wonder if this franchise remains snake-bitten.
The Lions snuck up on the league a bit last year. Will it be tough to maintain that and live up to the hype in '24? It's worth considering, but they absolutely should be in the mix and a run to the Super Bowl is definitely on the table.

A healthy LaPorta changes our versatility on offense 💪
Monty is way underrated, I get that Gibbs can break it easier but idk if we should move Monty to RB2. The way he wears down defenses and draws LB and safety’s into the box is a huge reason for our success in the pass game.

With the secondary's level of play at the back half of last season it probably isn't very difficult to elevate the quality of its play.

My thoughts exactly. It's either they drop their guard, coaches are not good at making adjustments, or, which I think is the case, the players were not good enough to execute the adjustments. Opposing coaches figured out the defensive weaknesses in the first half and exploited it to its fullest in the 2nd half.
Terrion Arnold is used to pressure playing in the SEC. But getting used to the physicality and the speed of the NFL is where he has to grow!
Arnold needs no unnecessary pressure. Robertson and Davis can start on the ends of the D.
