  • In this series, we will learn Japanese by playing through OMORI, a beloved game with touching characters and a heart-wrenching story. This series will teach us some important grammar points to know for the JLPT N4, N3, and so on, and we will also learn many useful words along the way while enjoying the unique cast of characters and dialogue.
    Some grammar points covered:
    0:00 Intro
    13:10 てくれる
    21:15 ところ
32:10 てくれる again (another good example)
In the future, I will also try to make a list of some new vocabulary.
For any Japanese language video, please do not hesitate to provide any corrections. Again, my knowledge of Japanese will never be that of a native speaker. I only seek to provide more educational resources to help others learn.

Thank you! I have at least three more full analysis videos of the next parts coming out. But let me know if you'd prefer just the highlights/interesting scenes. I may switch to that style just to speed things up a bit.

This one might be better ファミコン探偵倶楽部 消えた後継者 switch since it has fully furigana and great voice acting in Japanese. Nice video

I agree. I think there are plenty of better games to learn Japanese from. But who doesn't love OMORI? Also sometimes furigana can be a crutch, but it's definitely useful starting out. Thanks for the kind words!
