This saved my pico, it was the only way I could figure out how to delete the data with it being write protected
Thank you so much man, my pico wasn't being recognized and this fixed it.
You're welcome!
Thank you ! 👍🤝
Muchas gracias por compartir tan valioso contenido maestro.

thank you
You're welcome.
ty bro this was a problem but u helped me fix it
You are more than welcome!
thanks for the video, ive been trying to learn C and programming PIC's and that was near impossible due to soo many variables (wrong connection, software bugs, PIC's needing specific resistors so you can program to the memory..) fortunately i already taught myself python, and i recently discovered Raspberry Pi pico can run Python, absolutely love it, first project i skipped straight past all the tutorial and made a simulated bomb exactly like in Counter-strike.
Hah! Yeah C isn't optimal for some circumstances. Personally I think it's been way over complicated over the years. Adafruit and others really paved the way with getting Python onto the smaller microcontrollers. I actually found an HVAC PLC at work that has a Pi 3 inside of it. I saw it and thought "that port layout looks familiar..."
bro thank you so much i was nearly about to throw the board out the window and u saved me thanks a mil
You are welcome! That's why I did it. I got slightly frustrated one day and started document hunting, only to have a viewer message me on Facebook with the solution. Figured I'd make it easier on the people that followed behind me and ran into the same issue.
Gracias todo bien
thanks!
You are more than welcome!
well done
Thank you! Hoping it eases frustration for people.

You're more than welcome! I had the same problem, thankfully an eagle eyed viewer put me on the right track! Figured this was worth a video!
Saludos maestro. Muchas gracias.
You could try this. I'm not much of a console gamer, so I don't know how well this would work.

@@stfuandfish Muchas gracias maestro. Lo que quiero hacer pasar los archivos para picoflasher RGH3 luego restaurar de fabrica y colocar los archivos para picoboot para dejar el raspberry pi pico dentro del GameCube. Muchas gracias por compartir su sabiduría. 🤗
THANKSIVELOOKED FORHOURSFORTHIS
It's the time of Christmas miracles 🤣 You're welcome!
I am not able to paste the .uf2 file to my RPI-RP2 folder .
it says " you will need to provide administrator permission to copy to this folder" can you please help me to do it.
What operating system (on your computer)?
With Windows it should just copy over there.
@@stfuandfish its win 10 OS
Does this reset the wifi settings for the Pico W?
It's a complete erase, so I would assume so.
Thanks!!!!! New Sus!!!
You're welcome! Thanks for the sub!
the problem is my pico isnt showing up as a drive when I connect it, it says the usb device you connected to this computer malfunctioned and windows does not recognize it.
Try it on another computer (if available).
Make sure your USB cable is a data cable. (some only provide power)
Press and hold the BOOTSEL button while plugging it in, see if that connects.
@@RickMunday thanks I actually tried a different USB port and it worked
@@ethanwashoe5868 Sweet!
Glad it was fixed!
my raspberry i believe that it died! no shows green light to moment of connect to my pc!. 2 months ago last time i used, and now its not working
Try to power something else with that power supply, if it works then it's most likely the Pi.
I love youu
You're welcome! That made me chuckle! Glad it helped!
even after using the bootsel button my pico file system will not show
AFTER the nuke?
@@stfuandfish is fixed it already, i had a drivers issue after fooling around with zadig😂
Well, that would do it! Similar problem once after installing an sdr!
The music is not the old song! It is not the theme song ʕಠ_ಠʔ
Of course you noticed it! :D OK, I'll add it on the next bench episode.
for some reason its not working for me
Are you holding the BOOT/SEL button on power up? Once you do this it should open up in the appropriate Files application for your OS. Then you drag and drop or paste the nuke UF2 into the Pico folder and the Pico will reset.
Also, make sure your USB cable is a data cable
Any luck?
where did flash.nuke come from. it just suddenly appeared.
At this link below, just above the section titled "Installing the Mu Editor".

You could load the page and just do a search with CTRL F and search for the word "nuke".
