How long does that curry takes to cook?
Theyre eating at night, Oro showed up early in the day...
Slow cooker.
slow cook the best 6 to 8 hours
Not all of us eat microwave meals
@@tomgardner2253 Goddamn, people get hella serious about their curry
@@tavianroberts4423 Once you taste a curry made the right way there is no going back.
The fact that Oro is old enough is call Dhalsim “young” is astonishing to me
Well when you're 130-140 you can call everyone young.
Well, he IS the Ancient One.
@@christianflores6134 FACTS
It was that moment that made me remember Chung-chi legend of the ten rings moment where the main character’s father told the old guy “you better watch your manners young man!”
ya he also calls akuma young when they have their battle in sf3...
truly old legendary master.
When I first saw Oro in SFIII I thought he was just a "crazy hobo", yet I now realize he is one of the wisest and strongest characters of all the SF cast, even called "master" by some of them. I thought he was gonna fight G in his story mode, but now I understand why he chose Ryu as his new apprentice in SFIII
Even Gouki calls him "sennin"
Oh he’s strong alright, Oro has officially battled the likes of Akuma down to a draw. And Oro was STILL holding back
If he fights G and wins he basically confirms that he is not human and is more or less the earth itself
Oro COULD solve these problems by himself, but he doesn't want to. He wants to guide the future generation to do it instead, so they may stand on their own two feet. After all, being a master means sharing that wisdom.
@@Suika_Ibuki_The_Drunk_Oni Hence why people love him!!!
I like how Oro is holding a turtle rather than tying his hand up.
And I like to reply to comments that state the obvious
It also puts to rest that stupid myth of him "magically sealing his arm" when he just simply hid it behind his cloth.
Imagine he's holding a little white mouse instead...
He is still using his fighting style just like the previous Street Fighter games.
@@leandrusi4533 I like to reply to comments who replies to obvious like bait comments
seeing dhalsim is one of the wisest sf character outclassed by orov in philosophy says a lot how long oro has been lived
FACTS
yes it was great these two had some story together and are friends.
Well he is 140 years old so what did you expect
I believe they've done Oro great justice with this story. He's a wise individual that's laid-back too? Sheesh, he's like the grandfather we wish we had.
He really is Roshi’s SF counterpart. Without the full perv, anyway…
“Looks at some dialogue with girls”
Weeellll he does still enjoy a pretty lady 😂
Now that's what you call, a complete reskin.
lmaoo!! the original legendary OLD master and perv. :D
He admitted that if he ever met Poison long before he become a hermit, he'll quit.
Oro is obviously talking about ryu here but it’s really impressive how oro really explained what ryu represents, rather than karate guy just trying to become the strongest. He seeks for something much more.
What does ryu really seek?
@@DroppedCuh inner peace.
@@DroppedCuh The Answer lies in the heart of the battle!
@@kamaleshkumar1571 Oh no this quote again 😂😂
They did Oro justice
Complete Justice ⚖
Lol, Oro's original ending in SF3 showed him standing ON TOP of an airline jumbojet while it was at cruising altitude (30,000 feet high?). I enjoyed playing using Oro from the very beginning- he's got cool moves and, at 140 years old, he is the oldest sennin out there ...😁
They make Oro so charming in this game. In Street Fighter 3, he was scary as eff.
I still like SF3 Oro more, the fact of him being a weirdo and enigmatic made me wander more about his nature and power.
At the end, Oro was refering to both Ryu and Alex
And Rose.
I love how just by Ono leaving Capcom this game became better in all ways; I wish this was done a couple of years ago... here's to a successful launch for SFVI
The lead director was not replaced. Nakayama has been been the director since launch. Ono wasn't even involved with SFV in any creative capacity after Season 2. It's the same people, they just stepped their game up
@@iggydadawg9712 you don't know that, you didn't work there stop lying
@@mextyle_327 I'm "lying" about information that is easily accessible online? Why do you think you know what you're talking about lmao
@@iggydadawg9712 link me the info bro
@@mextyle_327 Think my comments are being deleted because I'm sending links, so I'll just tell you where to find them. Nakayama has been doing interviews with people where he says he's the SFV director. The most notable of these is the one with Hideaki Itsuno in 2016. As for Ono stepping down, an article on Event Hubs says that Ono was demoted from being the head of the Fighting Game Division in 2018 and was replaced by Ryozo Tsujimoto.
I can't help but love what a chill bro Oro is.
Man these Ultras are starting to flow better and look more serious like the way they should under this new director
I like to imagine Oro sitting at a table with Master Roshi, Iroh, and King Bumi. They could share stories and have a grand old time, almost as old as they are.
I don’t know why we can’t get more of these story lines. I’d love to see more of Ryu and Oro’s interactions, and especially Oro and Akuma’s relationship
ya deff want to see a rematch of Oro vs Akuma post third strike...
seem kinda hostile to each other but both seem to have a respect for each others power though.
Oro wins against akuma right?
@@krishrama Do you guys know if SF6 will finally take place after Third Strike or is it gonna happen right before?
@@DroppedCuh it was never clear who the winner but the dialog makes it seem like Oro wasn't too worried about Akuma.
So what I got from this is that he's just some old guy on vacation who has a habit of wandering into fights
and has been doing this for so long that he's canonically one of the strongest in the series
while also lookin for chicks
Oro is far more of a character than i thought... He has my respect now
F*** yo respect!! :(
lolz. nah. thats good. oro is worthy. he always had mine tho since sf3.
Also G having so much build up is amazing really heartbreaking that this game didn’t release as the arcade version. This would’ve given them the chance to create so much more from G alone, developers even said he was the boss character that Gill and Seth were for their titles. A real shame.
This looks like he will be in sf6
You know that Oro is the strongest character in the game when you are doing a handstand and can channel all your strength into one finger to hold your body up lol 🤣
It's funny that Oro is voiced by the same guy who voiced Lee Everett from The Walking Dead
Oro probably talking about sf6 custom character at the end
I swear the reasons for getting into fights in this game are so weird, Oro and dhalsim were just talking about how bison‘s energy is corrupting the world and then they suddenly started throwing hands
Oro’s words were so wise, Dhalsim was lost in thought. To Oro, Dhalsim is a kid.
i wonder who the person is...i mean, many characters could qualify. lots of them are pure hearted warriors who seek strength for its own sake, just to improve themselves. it could easily be Ryu, of course. But Sakura and Elena are always described as being pure of heart, too...
But neither Elena or Sakura seek strength. Elena just wants to make as many possible friends as she can, and Sakura now has other focus other than be as strong as Ryu is.
Both Oro and Ryu are phylosophical characters. The whole journey to learn more about himself and what is the true strength will inevitably take one to another. It's almost like their fate.
@@Saikyokugen True, true
i feel like the only two options that make any sense are ryu and alex, but oro has way more connections to ryu than alex anyways so
@@koreantrash5199 didnt alex wanna get strong for revenge in sf3 tho?
@@alfredopasta3784 To avenge his foster father, yes
The outfit with shades is reminiscent of Master Roshi.
You fight Rose so suddenly with no build up well Oro will be training Ryu hopefully in Street Fighter VI wish I hope is not an expanded story or in between story.
@Taelin Cusic the threat of Gill’s “utopia” (Watch his third strike ending) could be a clue.
@@hopeonelove4703 which characters story is more canon to that game
@@hopeonelove4703 but they are more concerned with g specifically.they haven’t talked about gill at all
I’m a bit disappointed to still hear about Bison’s intrigue. Whereas, Oro is clearly a step ahead to SF3, and its Gill’s intrigue.. I’d have so like to see more about that.
Oro is the master roshi in the Street fighter series. He helps trains ryu in SF3 and gain the true potential of his power and becomes shin ryu.
The reason why I'd prefer Oro's English is that Dave Fennoy does a Master Roshi impression. Seeing many people associate Oro with Master Roshi makes sense why I changed my mind on my preferred voice for Oro.
In sf6, ryu looks like a monk.
Oro gives me a Rafiki from Lion King vibe.
I wonder how Oro looked in his prime
I Imagine a yellow sagat with hair
Homer Simpson
There's a nice little story arc between Oro and Ryu in the udon street fighter unlimited comics.
Or is training Ryu and Ryu gets to a level where he forces Oro to reveal his hidden arm.
It's always bugged me how Rose's hair looks good in 2D, but so God awful in 3D. I guess it's one of those things that will never be translated well.
Yet.
SF6 might be a SFIII prequel with Oro learning about a man that's pure in heart to thwart the apocalyptic energy (Gill or other Boss.) Maybe in SF6 he just "learns" about Ryu and in SFIII he actually starts training Ryu?
Also this is hoping for too much, but how great would it be if SF6 actually takes place AFTER SFIII and Oro is actually training Ryu to defeat the apocalyptic foe.
Or Oro might just be a Dr. Strange (sees the outcome where good triumphs) and Capcom actually does do the time traveling route like some people guessed.
When I first played SF third strike, I always thought he was a bad guy because of his angry look on his face. So he’s a good guy/ neutral?
Wise neutral balance
The fact Oro nerfs himself by fighting with one hand. Because if he fights with both, the devastation he could cause is immense.
Agreed. Oro should only fight using both usually both hands if he is battling someone on his level or protecting the world from evil.
Sure, let’s pretend the illuminati isn’t behind the scenes of everything in the street fighter lore. Let’s also pretend that Bison isn’t just small potatoes in comparison to Gill.
I’d suggest you all go back and read 3rd strike comic from way back when and you will see how this story unfolds..
Ryu, Alex, Ken and Akuma are very important.
I like how these two sages are buds
This is like watching a conversation between Oogway and Yoda
I've got a question, since Oro is a Hermit where did he get is clothes? And how did he afford air ticket to India?
those clothes are gift from rose
He can float ...
Some artwork in SF3 depict him standing atop a commercial airliner with no problem whatsoever, that's precisely how he travels around the world
@@RomuloTheBrazilian that's rather his ending in SF3 New Generation and Second Impact. He wonders how strong Ryu truly is and how he wants to make him his diciple, while standing on top of the one of the wings of a flying plane.
On sf3 2nd impact, in oro's ending you can see him standing on top of an airplane
Oro is firmly in my "Characters we need more development on."
Oro story is always interesting.
That speech Oro gives to Dhalsim, I believe Oro is talking about Ryu.
Oro kind of low key crushing on Rose. Dude's got refined taste.
@Taelin Cusic at 140 you have to know how to pick 'em
Such strong words of pure wisdom.
Wait, could Oro be refering to the Neo Shadoloo, when he is talking about Psycho powers corrupting influence?
Imagine what would happen if oro and roshi met.......
They would be best friends
Street fighter seems to take a lot of inspiration from Dragon Ball, Like Ryu Heddoken and now an old man with a Turtle
@Ahmad Adnan hey smartass,Dragon Ball come out in 1984 while Street fighter in 1987
Oro's living his best life!🤣
6:33 Mmmm......That is seriously not a good sign. Even after his death, Bison ALWAYS finds a way to come back nonstop.
What if...
What if the Psycho Power was also in SF6, but as the final boss ? In a material form as menacing as Azazel in Tekken 6, or even Galactus I'm UNVC3 ?
@@Kara-de5cz that would be lame. I think it has more to do with the remnants of Psycho Power in the members of Neo Shadaloo; Ed, Falke, and their group
I just know that something bigger is coming.
Oro!!! The One-Armed Herit Man!!!!!!!!
2 armed actually.
Saludos desde México!!
Glad his friends with Dhalism
7:39 *He's obviously talking about Ryu...*
Pure of mind and pure of heart? So not Ryu since there is conflict in both his mind and heart mostly with the Satsui No Hadou. Though considering Oro's ending in 3RD strike Ryu could be the one to achieve it later on. Which then goes to the new Character Luke, who resembles Ed alot. Will Ed be taken over by Bison's will or will he resist? Lotta questions with this and Rose's stories.
What are you talking about? Ryu purged the Satsui no Hadou from himself this very game.
@@zerofudou5689 He didn't purge it but he was able to control it. But he's still trying to figure out how to master it completely. The Satsui No Hadou is part of him he can't purge or suppress Dhalsim even told him so.

@@Netsaver He did purge it, actually. And by the events of SFIII the Satsui No Hado’s influence is pretty much gone.
Also, I know that comment you made way WAY before this, but if SFIII isn’t enough, SF6 also seems to heavily imply the Satsui No Hado is completely gone and Ryu no longer struggles with it.

Why?
He always had both arms. The other was just tied up behind his back when he wasn't using his Level 3 Supers in SFIII.

I really don't like the character story of EVERYONE in SFV. It's bad style and pace, that usually don't even mention anything promising. It's just like a character ending. Oro could've bumped into Akuma or at least Ryu
